There is
- no independent proof that Imp is infected
- no independent proof that Crystal is infected if hector's teamed and really infected Imp instead / did something else entirely
- no independent proof that hector even IS the infector (always claim your teammates' actions/results whenever it's useful or funny)
- no independent proof that Vermin's body is gone
It's entirely possible that hypnotic headbands could be triggered to exhaust or kill the wearer. I'm not sure about this with Jim having claimed to have eaten the headband, but it may well be that it applies to someone
hypnotized regardless of whether or not currently wearing it.
It's probably possible that a "Warehouse 13 type role" could keep people alive as ghosts, but I don't know enough to have much confidence in this.
It seems somewhat unlikely that a "Warehouse 13 type role" would infect people with some seemingly mundane disease, unless there's some specific artefact that does that in the canon.
I don't see any obvious way that Jim could have the ability to fake his death (or even self-sacrifice for a benefit) given the spheres I know he most likely has.
I don't currently think I know enough about anyone else's roles to make any judgements and I would welcome information.
I really want to claim my own role but I think I need to hear from others whether it is worth the risk.
Imp, I believe you must have taken: Distributed, convolution, variety. Would you care to elucidate on that? I'm mildly worried someone might have Spheres powers but I think this much seems obvious enough (least sure about variety) that anyone could guess.
And while I appreciate your evaluation of my skill, I took a fun role that gives me zero information whatsoever in a game where we also get zero information normally. I have nothing to go on and nobody to trust. My first use of my abilities totally failed to work out the way I had wanted or provide anything useful.
The only thing I can confidently say right now is that I believe the most likely players to have killed Jim are either Fallacy (and that reaction is
incredibly damning, but Fallacy has been known to make those scummy reactions as town before I guess), or
EuchreJack, who has proven a Votes power, which happens to be riiiiight up there with Day and Kill. He'd do it, too.
lol
I do think it odd that fal calls the book a terror. It is a terror in the wrong and well equipped hands. But anyone should be happy with the book not in enemy hands.
Once assembled, it's absolute power with no control. Not exactly useful for anything but as a distraction and obfuscation, which helps scum. And as long as anyone has it, it can be stolen by scum. That's why it's a cursed tome that needs to be destroyed.
I believe your current plan for dealing with the book is the best choice we have, yes.
