The Silver demon, A sci fi to fantasy isakiai (SG)
« on: November 12, 2024, 06:04:16 pm »

After a hard day pounding the mean city streets, even a cyborg's feet hurt.
You head back to your small apartment, the best you can manage given the debit your in.
Then as you enter the elevatior, a gang thugs follow you inside.

There leader, a tall woman with a cybernetic claw demands at a gunpoint that you hold still while they borrow...
Well you'er not listening and reaching for your own gun, a 11mm automagnum, you manage clear the leather as a stun whip hits you.

10,000 volts race thru your body, shocking your cybernetics as they empty theres guns into you.

As your lieing in the elevatior, bleeding out and just another wasted citizen a fog starts to form and you can hear chanting getting closer.

Your vision flashes an your gone from the elevatior, istead your in some kind of a temple and there guys in robes holding blood stained knifes.

"Hail the dark lord! Look brethren She has sent us a Silver demon!"
As they chant on more about this dark lord, you feel for the bullet wounds and find that there gone.
Your still covered in blood, only its not your own any more.

Then theres a crashing comeing from behind the door.

No preferences on the other decisions, but I think it would be cool for cybernetics to be at level 7.

The door busts open to a shout of "Die Cultists! Die you dogs!"
In rush's a large bare cheasted man with a huge sword in his hands, he's made of rippleing mucles and anger.

He wastes no time in hacking the arm clean off one of the robbed cultists.

Clearly your still in shock, your heavily cyberized body is rebooting from the damage and clearly the video feed is bugged.
Then a pair of women enter, the first is a woman like you only dreamed of, a 6'6'' red head with a stunning body, in a skimply spiked leather outfit that lends little to the imagination.
After her is a tall woman that you can only discribe as elf like, in robes of silk and gold, there green lighting flashing from the staff in her hands.

As the cultists nearist to the newcomers are buchered, a robbed cultist shoves a battle axe into your hands.
"Fight them demon! For the Dark lord Xorginuuth!"

(Item's gained: Battle axe)

What do you do now?

A: Attack the new comers?
B: Attack the robbed cultists?
C: Run for it?

Takeing the axe you to turn to face the newcomers.

"Look the demon rises!" shouts the elf like woman.

you rush forwards and reach the red haired woman first, she stikes at you like lighting with her sword.
As the steel blade skips off your cybernetics, you bring the axe down on her.

She staggers back curseing, your shocked, you just hit an axe into her bare back with youre full force, yet she stands.

The large man hits you across the face with his sword and sparks fly as you stagger backward.

Backwards into a corner, you hold the axe up to defend your self.

Then you look around the room and see that the robbed cultists have been beaten back, buchered with sword an axe.

As your pressed into the corner, the elf wizard shouts at you "Yeld Stranger!".

You:
A) Yeld?
B) Use a cybernetic weapon? discribe it.
C) Run

Shocked by the lack of effect from your axe, you turn and run.
Leaping over the blood stained altur, you rush thru the door.

You run into the darkness of the tunnel, its stone wall surounding you.
As you reach a junction, there a really short bearded man, he's a 5 foot nothing but wide as door.
The short make makes your choice of tunnel for you by throwing an axe at you.
The axe clatteres off the stone wall as you run into the darkness, sure footed with cybernetic night vison.

Mintues later you reach a stair case and run up them to find your self

A: in a cave, with robed cultists waiting for you.
B: running back into the room you just left?
C: in a taven cellar stocked with barrels.
D: in a corpse of trees, with distant fields
E:  exiting into a city street.

A. The cultists don't seem hostile. Maybe they can help us orient ourselves in this strange new world.

Slowy you stagger toward the culists in the cave.

"So where am i? i am lost, this place its distant."

For a moment the cultist look at you like a walking oddity.
Then one of them becons you to sit with them and learn .
As they unravivle a long scroll you  sit an read faster then any human eye, by the gift of cybernitics you read the whole text.

Most of it is a bulding code and calls for bad builders to be killed in creative ways but there lines that call on a black shadow god to revenge the builders.

Tired you sleep in the cavem, in a big heap of flesh, then you see the sighns.

A: There bloody runes on the altura, you flee from the cult
B: A pained cry from the cuilts layer,  it makes you flee.
C: you join the cuilt openly welcoming into your flesh.
D: youre a hard biten detective, you act for rthe law.

I think we can do better for ourselves than living in a cave and sleeping in a tangled mess of bodies. Let's get out of here. A
