what is the new wiki?

If you prefix a "new." instead of "www." to the domain name, it gives a spooky warning. Web search results often give me links to the new wiki instead of the standard version. I thought someone was making a malicious clone of the website at first.

That is a subdomain left over from an old migration. It's not configured correctly and should not be used.

What search results are taking you there? I would suggest just searching the wiki directly if you're looking for specific pages often. I have a custom browser search engine set up using https://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/Special:Search.

If I search for dfwiki human on DuckDuckGo, the new Human - Dwarf Fortress Wiki is the first result. I think most queries will give a new result if you scroll down far enough.
