Well I got what I need…now let’s find that portal. They are entering our world so there should be one around here. Use one of those form changing items to make myself invisible for a bit to sneak out of hell with my ill gotten gains, though.

5+1=6: The form changing item hurts like hell as your soulbody is discarded and what comes out is a translucent goop. No one can see you now! Ah, can steal sea the bag. You sloop out to find the portal and see a waiting line with a bunch of random demonic forms lined up. They great you in a guttural language and you bubble back.

5: despite having no training whatsoever, you manage to infuse your chi into the blade.

Rub my aches and pains, then search where I am for those that typically handle demons and prevent their incursions upon Earth.

1-21: You rub the pain out of your eyes, stand up, and turn around to take a step away from a cliffside fall. Right down a jagged hole in the ground.
1: You die. You are now a ghost since you don't have any link to non-purgatory and that place is full.

Now that I have a gun I go further into the underground and return to my fellow rat people.

1-63: Your fellow "rat people" are not so happy to see you. Also demons are pouring out of the tunnels. That might be why they're not happy.

4-95: In searching for someone, you find the bhudda temple. Being a ghost, the wards repel your entrance.

4-16: You pump yourself full of chemicals, and somehow don't die. Superspeed maybe, though you don't feel any faster.

6: You get raised as a zombie, and put back to work. This time as supervisor for all the other unpaid workers.

2: You move. In fact, the line is moving very quickly, and you find yourself pushed through the portal by the press of bodies and shot. It is very painful.

6: You keep killing them but they keep coming. So you dive deeper in, killing till you find the portal. Among the demons is a gelatinous one with some sort of wierd glowing core. You shoot it too but it doesn't die. Definitely not the cannon fodder the rest are proving to be.

I find the way back and lead them with me; these are some of the people (and their spirits, some of the spirits) that help keep demonic portals from just opening up whenever some demon pleases.  Apparently dying over and over without reviving in between is quite the thing.
