"None that I ever encountered.Though like I said monster aren't my area of expertise Lilinoe says as she continues her strafing of the skeleton. Looking to see if there was anything inside the body of it.

[Haspen]

"Wasn't it Andrea who knew things about monsters?" Merewin then steps away towards the exit from this particular tunnel.

"Andrea! Are you here?" He asks, into the dark.

Meanwhile, Lilinoe finds out that besides the webbing and things in the propped up maw, the skeleton is just a skeleton. Most of its lower body is missing, or haphazardly placed behind the whole.

It takes a few moments of silence, but after a bit, Andrea walks out of the darkness, looking no worse for wear,


"I am here. Was just exploring one of the other areas, nothing too special to see unfortunately. How may I assist you?"

[Haspen]

"Lilinoe found this... this skeleton. It's all wrapped up with feathers and pebbles." Merewin points deeper into the tunnel.

"Why would spiders do this?"

[Solymr]

After giving a quick check around the corner, Markus noticed people were talking and gathering at the back of the cave and decided to join, bringing some light with him.

: Hm? Did you find anything?

[Haspen]

"Uh, a pretty skeleton? I'm not sure how to describe it..."

[Solymr]

: Let's see it then. Markus approached the skeleton, torch in hand, making sure to keep the flames away from flammable spidery substances.

Lilinoe let's out a huff

"Not just a pretty skeleton, she says sounding slightly annoyed "A wyvern skeleton that has been displayed and decorated."

"Oh? Let me see" Andrea says, stepping forward and then kneeling in front of the skeleton, letting out a small 'hm' as she investigated,


"Hm... Unfortunately I cannot quite say. This doesn't seem like the sort of normal activity for a Bael. But it almost seems like a shrine of sorts. Odd."

[Solymr]

Markus grumbled.

: Strange... I don't know anything about spiders being able to perform rituals, but I think this clues to the identity of our mystery skeleton outside the cave.

[Haspen]

Merewin thinks hard about this for a moment.

"You mean the person outside was a wyvern rider... and this is his, her, mount? Or rather what's left it? Of them?"

[Solymr]

Markus nodded.

: Indeed. I don't think I've seen other wyvern remains in here, so I doubt this is a wyvern lair. So it must've been dragged in from the outside... A person wearing proper clothes and armor, wielding a silver-tipped lance, carrying a bag and riding a wyvern... Couldn't have been just a random unfortunate passerby.

"That seems to be the case. If I were to take a guess the wyvern died before the rider given the state of the bones, and the decoration and posing could be related to an attempted burial.
I could glean more answers from the rider depending on the state of their bones if we were so inclined."

[ctsun]

"But, how did they get the wyvern here? We couldn't even get Belle to fit here.", Emilia added, referring to her own mount, quietly noting that there wasn't much room to maneuver even if they did. "And this one looks a lot bigger than pegasi."

"Hard to know exactly but if I where to make another guess.... Lilinoe points to the missing lower half and the bones behind it. "I would propose they ate the wyvern, or at the least chopped it up." Lilinoe said with bit of a smug smile.
