"Go then, return in victory." Merewin bows his head as Richart raises his hand in a goodbye.

A while later
North of Ravenkeep

This far from the village, the imposing keep is barely a point between the hills behind the group's back...

Meinhart leads the group into a particularily hilly area, with lonesome trees growing out of old paths and in the shadowed valleys.

"We used to have a foundry here. Old Ravenkeeps founded it back before the Great War. My great-grandfather was one of the last miners, you know." He says, brushing aside a branch.

"That's the place." Meinhart stops, raising his hand and pointing at a valley to the north. A small hole was dug into its far end.

"Foundry to the left, common hall on the right. I'm surprised they're still standing in such a good condition. Restoring them to function shouldn't take long..." Meinhart's voice trailed off as a multi-legged being silently skittered behind one of the buildings.

"Now... I-I will take my leave." The brave innkeeper then turned heel and went south.

"How many he said there should be? I think I can see only two..." Merewin slowly unsheathes his sword.

Emilia nodded briskly. "Or those woods over there. Anything could be hiding in those." She shook her head after a moment. "Okay! Be right back! Gonna go warn that village out over there!"

[Solymr]

: Did you put your ears to pasture? Those buildings have gone unused for decades. You'll be warning the spiders that we're coming to kill them all at best. Markus grumbled.

[ctsun]

Emilia simply stuck her tongue out back at Markus in response. "They'll sense us approaching, anyway. Better to secure them before the spiders get in. Ahahaha~!"

[Solymr]

Markus grumbled yet again.

: That makes more sense at least...

[Caellath]

"You never know if less fortunate people have decided to squat in the buildings, and battle will surely rile up the spiders. It's worthy checking them out." Aras pointed out.

"Well best get moving then. Spiders won't kill themselves."

Lilinoe moves to H12

Visiting the communal hall proved... fruitless. It was abandoned, and besides old furniture, occasional string of webs and lingering smell of mold, there was nothing and no one for Aras to find there.
