Team 2 - Elkar

"Hey, watch the material!" he said jokingly, clearly surprised by his teammate's speed and strength. "Of course they won't hate us - we'll be protecting them. I'm sure they'll be really happy to see us..."

"So," Elkar says, comfortable being held in the air. "What's our endgame here? Like, how do we win?"

Team 3 - Saif

Speaking more as another worried dracotine now rather than team leader, Saif got curious about Cordelia's change of mind. "We are sort of part dragon. You know, it's likely they'll be afraid of us. Or angry at us. Very likely both now that I think about it. Do you have something in mind to deal with that? Not an official question by the way, I'm just wondering."

>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Team 2 - Amara
"...Unclear." Amara said, scowling for just a moment. "The immediate mission however, is clear: Hold off any encroaching dragons. And try not to die. Emphasis on try. I have already devised a strategy to best facilitate that. Rosen and Mulac will be our front line. Kovich and Myself will take the middle ground. Yount with provide covering fire from the rear."

Seemingly lost in thought, she approached the meeting room's whiteboard (or whatever facsimile this particular one hosted, even pen and paper would do) and began to draw out the diagrams in her mind.

"In the case of a dragon spotted in flight: the rear will draw its attention with concentrated fire. Kovich's power is likely too slow to catch a moving target, so I will down the dragon myself. From there, The frontline moves in and engages the intruder until Mulac's armor breaks. At that point, the front pulls back, Kovich prepares an orb, and I move in while the target is partially frozen. I will land as many hits as I can before Kovich's power reaches us, at which point I will withdraw, and the explosion will detonate. If the dragon is still alive, we reset to the front taking point, repeating and adapting as necessary. The strategy does not change much for an already landed Dragon. Rear pulls attention to allow the Front to close. Front engages until flash freeze is triggered. I move in to attempt the execution, Kovich incinerates whatever is left. Rinse and Repeat."

She lowered her writing instrument, waiting for any questions or contributions. The more astute among their small squad might note how the plans focused far more on engaging and destroying than it did stalling for time...

Team 3 - Cordelia

The Dracotine in question lifts her finger, using it to punctuate her next words, "Absolutely not. However, I have faith that I can win them over with my natural charm~" she says, a sly grin on her face as she says this, before she ultimately hops down from the table she was sitting on, placing her hat back upon her head.

Team 3 - Saif

It was hard not to chuckle at her bravado. Yeah, sure. That was really in character for what he remembered of Cordelia. "For the sake of comparison, how well has your charm worked with our fellow dracotines?"

Team 3 - Ren

"Don't worry, if Cordelia here is a bit too charming, I'll make sure to get her back on track before she ends up embarrasing herself. And if she does win everybody over, well that's just a win for all of us I'd say" Ren didn't seem in the slightest bit worried about the difficulties that awaited them when moving to public school, as if she already knew  that she'd find a way to fit in with Humans just as she did with her fellow Dracotines so far.

Team 3 - Kaymor

Kaymor grumbles a little as she starts awake, the bundle of jacket with legs sticking out of it shifting as she starts to wonder if the floor would make a comfier bed than the chair, 'Ah, but that would probably get me reprimanded again...'

Her best efforts to find a good spot in her chair are met with abject failure. Sighing, her focus turns to the group's conversation, "Bubbles there is harmless. Kind of like an over excited dog, you want to punt them but they're too cute to follow through usually. If not I can always-" Kaymor cuts off long enough to yawn before finishing, "Can always beat them up."

Team 1 - Janette

With a dramatic swoosh, Melissa slowly unwrapped her bandages and let her limiters flare into life. "At last, the moment of ecstasy is here. Through the moment of brimfire and inferno I emerge, towering in the grasps of flames." She dashed quickly to the nearest fortification and leaned beside it in wait. "The time of destiny nears."

Team 3 - Saif

There was a pause. Saif frowned a bit, but he didn't want to assume. "Beat up who?"

Team 1 - Vakari Delthera

Quick-deploy shields in an octagon, corners left disconnected for ease of escape if necessary, additional shields adhered to the top as a makeshift protective roof, a few angled shields adhered across the area for better cover on the run- "RANK 2 SMITH, GET OUT OF THERE AND HELP WITH SETUP-" -ahem, numerous poles adhered standing upright with attached spikes to make draconic landings difficult and impede any movement while they were grounded, including a few with platforms adhered to them that he could reach and use as firing towers by using the angled shields as ramps... Okay.
Okay.

Some internal calculations...
"One minute left, everyone! If you have any final setup, do that immediately and then get in place!"

Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Team 1 - Meredith

"Alright, Dioren, you set up over there, you have thirty seconds to get there before you're visible again." She pointed toward a nearby rise in the terrain. "Delthera, you get the next thirty seconds. I'll keep you for longer if I can but I'll be focusing on getting our melee fighters - assuming they actually feel like contributing today," she said with a glare at Melissa rambling behind cover, "invisible so they can strike more freely. I'll hang back and try to preserve that advantage before I engage myself and call out any enemy formation changes I see from above."

Team 2 - Dia

Dia, who had been listening and nodding along to Amara's explanation, now raises his hand. "If there is more than one dragon?"

Team 2 - Amara
Another faint smirk. "Then I move from the middle to the Front. Rosen and Mulac keep the first occupied with the rear providing covering fire. I will handle the second with the middle providing explosive pressure every twenty seconds. It will be imperative to Rosen and Mulac's survival to keep the targets from grouping too close together. Assuming there are three or more dragons, the Front will have to split to take on at least one each, with the middle and rear providing support as able. Any strategy more advanced will real-time formulation. As you see, the odds of our untimely deaths, and of those we defend, rises exponentially in the case of a multi-dragon assault. But in such an event, it is likely that Team 3 will also be activated, thus we will not be fighting alone." She added the addendums before again putting her pen down.

"But even so, we will not bank on Team 3's availability or timeliness. Nor is it likely we will have access to any special resources beyond what we already have, let alone the time to retrieve them. Thus the best option to maximize our odds of survival is to hone our powers to a razor-fine point."

She seemed to be staring directly at, or possibly through, Dia for the last part. It was honestly hard to tell with that woolen mane covering her eyes.

Team 1 - Tyline

As he finished dispensing glue on the final spiky pole shoved into the ground, Tyline jogs back into the octagon fort and readies his bow for ranged combat.
"This looks pretty amazing for it to be done so soon. Hopefully, when our asses get kicked. They don't force me to tear it down."

Team 3 - Kaymor

"Anyone trying to bully Bubbles, of course."

Kaymor's reply is confident as she raises her head to peer at Saif from under her hood. Her eyes bore into the team leader as she follows up, "I'm the only one allowed to beat Bubbles up anyway. She can block my sword. She just hasn't realized yet."
