Team 1 - Tyline

Tyline hangs his head in shame. "Understood sir."
It was amusing to see Meredith get scolded as well, but the shame outweighs all.

Team 3 - Saif

Saif nodded at Peppermint's reply, but he was most pleased by Ren's attitude towards Cordelia. It made the team's potential even clearer, even if his good mood took a small hit upon realizing Kaymor seemed to have started snoozing in record time. She'd just spoken. Was this some sort of condition?

"Exactly Cordelia, Ren has a good point. The team has a lot of potential." he said before clapping his hands to forcefully wake Kaymor up. "So we make up Team 3. We will be held back as a trump card and only called for major emergencies, and in the meantime we are supposed to train and develop proper teamwork."

"I was also informed by Leader Boss that we'll receive high school education. We'll be allowed to continue learning at the dracotine school or be given the option to attend a public school in the city."

"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Team 3 - Cordelia

Cordelia merely waves off the comments on her own power, "Perhaps, but as it stands, I'm yet to be at a practical level" she states, focusing back on Saif as he speaks, a small smile creeping on her face, "Ooooh, and here I was worried I'd be thrown out misconduct, but I can't complain about promotion" the Dracotine added, leaving out the fact that if she was part of a team that was reserved for major emergencies, she'd be able to avoid more consistent troubles.

... Of course, that meant that when she had to face a problem, it would be a BIG one, but that was a problem for future Cordelia.

"So how do we work with this school thing? Do we all go to the same one for 'team cohesion' or just an off time thing? Can't say I'm keen on going out to a public school."

Team 2- Saviri.

Saviri practically springs up in joy as he hears the news from Amara. "Good! We can fight dragons, that's what we're supposed to do! It's nice we can work together." Saviri notes, before moving over to Amara with an obvious spring in his step. "You and I work really well together, so I'm glad we're together again! Thank you, Amara!" Despite knowing damn well that their assignments had little to do with their squad leaders input, he still said thanks anyways.

Team 2 - Amara
Despite her stony stoicism, the giddy outburst took even Amara aback. "Uh...ahem, At...Ease. No thanks are warranted."

Not knowing how else to pivot off that awkwardness, she glanced at the other three in turn. "I am already familiar with the current development of Mulac's frozen armor. Less so about the rest of you. Kovich: how fast do your flames move these days? Yount: any progress since the hooks were installed? Rosen: I assume you have no breakthroughs to report with the mace."

Team 3 - Saif

"Leader Boss didn't have all info either. I do also think it'd be better if we ended up together, but I'm unsure of the details right now." Saif honestly replied. He wasn't really sure about going to a public school either—and sticking to what he was familiar with meant staying at the Elineit!—but at the same time he was interested in whether the superiors wanted them to mingle with humans for coexistence reasons.

Janette

Melissa simply grins back at the commander, perhaps a little smugly for her own good, and replies. "This one is proclaimed Rank 2 Melissa von Zwischenzeit by the sublime supplication of fate. The dark flames of my origin hath descended upon this world and proclaimed her classification of Striker. The grand blaze of mine body sparks like a wildfire, powering this body of mine to ever greater speeds. All who stand in my wake shall burn! Mwahahaha!"

Team 2 - Elkar

Elkar ran a hand through his hair, giving his teammates a cool look before effortlessly pivoting into a thumbs up. "The front lines? Right on! Those dragons are going to wish they stayed home." He peered around the room, looking to see if the confidence of any of his teammates faltered. He couldn't risk someone choking under the bright lights during his solo.

"The hooks? No sweat. I know them like the back of my hand... and if I get into a sticky situation, I can always improvise."

Liana

Liana looked at Janette. Then back at Vakari and Meredith and shrugged. "Welcome to my last few years." Maybe she should have really tried for fancy officer school if the alternative was listening to more of Jan's rants.

"First expedition since Phoenix Thrust... damn, I figured we'd get into some scraps but that's real big. You said something about testing us, when do we start?" She grinned widely, smacking a fist into her palm and ready to go. Frankly that sounded like a better assignment than she could have hoped for. Absolutely terrifying, she was impulsive not suicidal she could see that much, but it sounded hard to find a more important place to be deployed.

Team 1 - Vakari Delthera

As much as he hated the delivery, Smith's self-introduction had described her power and handily displayed her... personality.

Just... get on with this.

Ignoring the snide comment that had preceded it, Vakari responded to Liana's inquiry. "I have not yet been notified as to when the assessment will begin, but it will be very soon, as the expedition is intended to be our first assignment. I do want to be clear, however: whether or not we attempt this is determined by our performance in the assessment. If we are not found acceptable, the expedition will not happen. With the dearth of information on the outlands, we cannot know what to expect, so we have to be ready for anything; as such, this will, without a doubt, be the most difficult assessment any of us have faced. This will require everybody to be operating at 100%, understand that."

He took a breath.

"That aside. There is one person left here who has not explained their power: myself. Thankfully, it is quite simple: I shoot bullets in great quantity, at great speed, and at great range.
Are there any questions?"

Team 1

Before anyone had a chance to respond, the door swung open to reveal a dark-skinned woman with extremely dramatic hair. They'd all met her before, but that didn't make her any less larger than life. After all, she was exactly who every dracotine aspired to be.

"Delthera, I'm here to escort you and your team to your exercise. Are you ready?" Raeh asked.

Her tone was as casual as ever, it was almost possible to forget that she was the greatest hero Frusca had ever known.

Team 1 - Meredith

Meredith's hand snapped up into a salute fast enough that one would have been forgiven for thinking she concussed herself with it. "First Elite! I wasn't expecting you to- that is, thank you for- that is, yes ma'am. At, uh, Elite Warrior Delthera's confirmation, of course." She looked like she was about to vibrate through the floor, and it wasn't entirely clear whether this was for positive or negative reasons.

Team 1 - Vakari Delthera

Despite the swift reaction - an immediate about-face from the team to the door, and crisp salute - it was very obvious that Vakari's conscious brain needed a moment to process just what had happened, the two most telling marks being the reappearance of his default blank expression and the brief silence.

This did not last long, however. "Yes ma'am, First Elite Alettor! Team 1 is ready!" They had better be fucking ready, the First Elite was here.
...and he probably fucked up already by just claiming they were ready when they had barely gotten through introductions-
He coughed cleared his throat, "Team 1, ready yourselves for assessment!"

Fuck, he was embarrassing himself in front of First Elite Raeh Elettor-

Team 1 - Tyline

Head snapping back up, and eyes widening in shock. Facing the First Elite, Tyline does the crispest salute he has ever done. His body becomes rigid, fearing that the slightest slack will get him called out for it. Shouting in a panic. "Yes sir! Rank 2, Tyline Trout! Ready to be assessed!"

Team 1

"Alright cool, follow me." Raeh said, turning to leave. If she was bothered by Vakari's stumbling over protocol, she didn't show it.

Following Raeh's lead, Team 1 made their way not only off the ship, but outside the city entirely. They'd all been here once or twice, the rocky field was a standard location for exercises. It was wide open, but with enough variable terrain to provide natural cover. Additionally, a supply vehicle had been brought in with a variety of weapons and fortifications, including several guns.

Raeh stood before Team 1 with a grin on her face. "You've got ten minutes to get ready. No rules, the dragons won't have any. Good luck out there."
