This October, we will find out!
Guidelines For entry:
Submit one modded creature as your selected combatant, along with as many other surplus raw files as you wish.
Either post raws in thread openly, or send as a PM to me.
You may specify which initial hostility level you would like for your creature to be spawned into as. - AI manipulation strategies are openly encouraged.
Entrants may include an arena of their own design to be used during matches, - before each match, a coin will be flipped to determine which arena to be used.
-- If no arena is attached to an entrant's submission, a default arena will be selected.
Entrants may also start the match with a syndrome class of their choosing applied.
Since the tournament will be run in premium, if you do not wish to include sprite artwork for your creation, basic-ish placeholder sprite artwork will be produced for your creature upon request.
The deadline for entry into TITAN FEST will be October 5th. And the tournament itself will start on October 6th and run for a week.
Would be entrants are encouraged to reserve their spot in the tournament early. Even prior to submission of a custom titan.
If you will require sprite artwork for your creature, please make your requests as soon as possible!
Tournament Structure:
1. The tournament shall be non-eliminating 3 round matches of swiss - based on the number of submitted monster entries.
-- Coin flips determine who gets spawned first during the first round of each match; spawn order alternates for the 2nd, and potential 3rd round.
2. There shall be a single elimination top 8 following the conclusion of matches.
3. The winner shall be the last creature standing at the end of top 8.
4. Every participant shall be permitted to award a number of flavor points based of the number of entrants that participate.
5. At the end of the event, the modder's monster with the highest number of flavor points awarded to them shall also be announced.
6. Creatures will start -x 7 tiles away from each other at the start of every match.
Note: All RAWs will be released and made available at the start of the event.
Edit: FUCK IT - Winner scores a flavor appropriate trophy. It shall be engraved with their bay12 forum user handle, in addition to their bad-ass new title moniker of "The Lord of Blood"
