Thank you! I have to say, I don't miss likes, I'm not quite sure they are representative as a whole. A short comment is worth a lot more in my eyes anyway!

(1) You grab your golf bag and take out your gun. But then an Orc comes over and sensually gives you a massage. You decide to marry the Orc and live together. Unfortunately, the Orc walks over a slime mine and blows up. You commit suicide, unable to bare the thought of living with out your one true love.

I support bear arms and armed bears, in that order!

So this mysterious corporate entity, Void inc,
I wonder if they will play a larger role in events to come?

The employees of the necromancer corporations are not going into retirement any time soon.
I think we'll see more of them in the future, especially once we have grown enough to draw their attention in earnest. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if they pop up from time to time, they are known for planning long term - for eternity, in fact.

people are realizing that reading might be a useful skill after all

... I think I'll wait for the movie adaptation of Brokenhill sorry ...

This is a great project. It makes me want some kind of town crier role in the game, a dwarf that pronounces the past weeks events to a crowd, who then have some kind of emotional reaction and so on.

I'll write down "invent cinematography" on the to-do list, it can't be that hard. Of course, the only right way to bring Brokenhill to the screen is in the form of excessively silly silent films.

Oyez, oyez,
You had text without images.
You wanted sound without text.
You'll get images without sound.

Joke aside, I love the idea of a town crier. Imagine the crowd rioting violently when they hear that Urist McFamous left his wife because his long-lost childhood sweetheart reappeared without warning with the child he didn't knew he had.

Here is issue No 13, where the merchants get a club to hang around.

And as a bonus, here is a more or less contemporary screenshot of the Old Town and an overview of the map when I started.

I answered a few questions about the fortress on reddit, if you're interested:

Here is issue No 15, where the tombs robbers are back in town - or are they?

You'll have to wait until next week for the next issue because life is not a team player. That said, I'll use the opportunity to mention that I've been getting some feedback from people who like the Gazette, but struggle to keep up. They might not be the only ones, so let's use this as a trial: What do you think about 2 issues per week vs 1 issue per week? And if it is too much for you too, would you prefer one two-pages issue per week or two one-page issues per week? You can also send me a short message if you prefer, and you don't have to explain your choice in any way if it's just a gut feeling. I'll have a look at the end of next week. Thank you!

Here is issue No 16, where we ask ourselves if anything was robbed at all.

Next issue next week. The one per week/two per week question is still open if somebody still wants to chime in.
