lol take my advice and leave the classics in the past.  I loved goldeneye n64 as a kid but it's just a bunch of polygons to me now.

Was that really what I was seeing when playing 4 player deathmatch games and smoking people with proxy mines and cheesing throwing knives?

Marathon is on my to-do list.  Never played it.

Funny how that works. But I do think that paper-doll doom clones aged better than low-poly PS1 shooters. Lots more people emulating the former than the latter these days.

Not sure if dying of old age is an honor or a shame for weaponmasters. On the one hand, it means they never got the opportunity to die in glorious battle. On the other hand, it means nothing could beat them in glorious battle.
