It's this sort of silence that makes me think scum rolled really poorly this game. The type of thing that characterizes a game where half of them are scum and the other half are unknowing scum-ally. You know, the last game I ran where I saw that happen/

Okay so Fallacy continues to tunnel Max, which yeah at this point is really sus, but I think Oliverz is a better lynch today. I feel as though his D2 behavior is way more suspicious than Fallacy's obsession with Max.

FoU I have no strong investment in this game which is why I'm only reacting to what's in front of me. This will probably change should I gain investment in this game.

Your role starting with nothing and building up strength is similar to my own. I don't think you're lying about that.

Here's what I'm seeing FoU:

1. You really want Max dead and in my opinion it's the same way you latched onto me for stupid reasons in a previous game, as mafia.
2. You think you're going to die when the people voting you are a) Max the guy you want dead b) TricMagic who changes their vote at every opportunity so it means nothing and c) Me who has almost no idea what's happening and wasn't around previous days. I think you're being melodramatic.
3. According to somebody's summary (I forgot who sorry) the three players who have no N2 claims are Max, FoU, and Oliverz. I think at least one of these players is mafia so I'm happy voting you.

You know what? All things considered, I wouldn't exactly be upset with an Oliver elim today.
It removes an ambiguous player with a self-proclaimed 'evolving' role, and also means I get to put off whatever is happening between those two off for another night phase, so we can get some more mechanical information on it.

That one vote from ToonyMan scares me more than the rest of yours combined.

But maybe after the Pirate Incident I've been overestimating Toony.

I do think Toony is overestimating Tric's tendency to move his vote around, in this case, Tric's been fairly fixated on me since Day 3. I think his vote will return eventually.

In addition to continuing to point out Max's scumminess, I'd like to do you all a favor and talk about something other than Max. Seems like it could be worthwhile to analyze 4maskwolf's own play prior to the end of Day 3, in case he let anything slip.

If Oliverz is good, based on their claims they're most likely to be somewhat similar to yourself in terms of me.  There could be some differences, but you have some weird mech that tells you I'm town, Oliverz claims to as well as that evolve thing.  I get that you don't have the evolve thing.  But consider whatever info you have and if Oliverz is mirroring you in your mind more than independently offering stuff that feels reasonable based on what you haven't said yet, and maybe go on that for whatever you have if you have anything.

Be super sus of an 'echo', since you know at least some of the right stuff; he could totally just parrot you back to you and sound 'right'.  But independent original statement(s) that didn't come from you - could be the real deal, and maybe likely are.

Without an inspect, Verm, your opinion's probably my closest good look at Oliverz, as well as AP/Toony, though you and Oliverz both said less sure of AP than me or each other.

Thing is, if Oliv's like you, Verm, he's probably pretty useful in his own way.  The whole 'forgot to do anything' is pretty sus and pretty disappoint if he's actually key-in-lock with me being his key.  Consider all info you have, don't need to explain why.  But if you don't believe he could have forgotten to act N2, it's probably a very sus claim.  I don't need or want confirmation or explanation, but if you think he's sus I am more sus of him.

To be clear, because at least Toony seems confused about my wanting 'everyone' to act on me -

I want a few folks to have acted on me or to act on me to replace those we lose.  It's least useful for town if everyone acts on me or if nobody did; it's only a little useful for town if only 1-2 have acted on me or if all but 1-2 have.

So, if we elim Oliverz a replacement's nice --- but I still request that Mater to never touch me with any ability (this is more 'paranoia' than certain mech, but I am concerned there could be some real badness for me if he does; and I definitely don't want to have that extortion touch me) and I am only requesting non-lethal, won't wreck me abilities used on me, thanks!

I think the ideal number of surviving 'have successfully used an action on Imp' folks is between 3-5; if we're down to just 5 alive dang it, the mech's probably not useful then because that's just so few folks.  So let's not get that close to zylo, whew.

But be aware if someone takes me out of play (commute, somehow I die) those who acted on me ever or that turn especially are suspects and are going to be known somehow.

I am the False Hydra, possibly one of the best possible SK roles to submit. Still town.

My Innate, Corpse Eater, gives me a shot to all my other shotted abilities after two players die.

My Auto, Psychic Scream, prevents investigative results from containing information from me.

My shotted Auto, Corpulent Bulk, is just being bulletproof.

Aside from that, I have two different types of redirect (Mind Control and Enslave) and the ability to alignment inspect (Mind Reader).

All my abilities started with 0 shots, so I've been pretty much useless all game.

This is fascinating.  as is the claimed role submission, https://goblinpunch.blogspot.com/2014/09/false-hydra.html for a detailed look at what we might have in play, regardless of FoU's alignment.

Are we saying track, watch, learn rolename, investigate, and everything information gathering is gonna fail on FoU, presuming it is from a ability use?

I actually wonder if infinite-ninja FoU could then act on me and be undetectable, based on this claim.  If FoU can be 'among the counted' it may be worth my trying to investigate, but that's probably curiosity talking and something I wanna do only if it's probably gonna help town win the game more than any other action I can take (maybe like investigate someone else?)

FoU's giving us info that if true and fully accurate (the details can be true without being accurate; like a super inspect might still be able to inspect FoU successfully, depending on the exact wording of abilities, something FoU as mod has shown is well understood) we couldn't get from FoU in any other way.  This means it's unconfirmable, though someone who could target the rolename/abilitynames could potentially attempt that info if believed, it'd work if true and potentially confirm that honesty or lack - and might even be townie lies from FoU if lies.  Gotta love a complex game.


That false hydra's REALLY not a cop-like thing.  Playing up its watching aspect, sure. And that mind control's awful.  Hope if we let FoU grow that far, FoU's real gentle/careful with us who are the same wincon, and that we can stop FoU if needed.

FoU supposedly cannot be inspected by abilities.

4maskwolf could only be very accurately inspected if before anyone died (thanks again, Mater, for being convincing and concerned and vocal).

4mask was only bulletproof until picking someone else's non-bulletproof ability, and the additional alignment mask of choosing to take an ability and the other's alignment is probably very tempting, especially if there aren't a vast number of NK visibly flying around.

But we'd have an inspected as town bulletproof of sorts, an inspected as mafia bulletproof until replaced, and a claims impossible to inspect at all bulletproof as well.


Tric's in a weird position.  EP hasn't confirmed the mod error to the thread.  I'm like wondering if FoU could be an... SK ally?  Frantically signalling in case Tric is SK and asking Tric to take a second look.  Tric finds out it's not a mod error, and then goes with it, realizing FoU must be tryign to send a message.  I don't know if our rules would even allow this kinda signalling, I would guess so, but I had a mod step in when I was solo maf here and stop a ploy I was using so I may not have any real understanding of what's allowed along that path.

Back to Tric's weird position, Tric's signaling of a sort to Max with the ability (and the rest of us with reassurance that Max can't be mafia else we'd already all be dead) as well as this weird maybe-signalling interaction with FoU.

Who has abilities that start with S though. SKs maybe. Not .... Wait a moment. Doopliss is that you? No it's not but Doopliss would certainly be a character to submit.

Sure.  Best I can think to ask:

If you give an informational result to "Player A" that "Player A" should not have gotten/should not have been able to get based on all mechanics in play, and "Player A" tells this information to the thread as "Player A's" informational result, how would you handle this in the thread?
