Build a Cruckhouse

Sorry, but you need 6 planks for that.  We had 6, but Imp used 2 of them to make a basic totem.  So, there’s only 4 left.  Not enough to make a crackhouse, I’m afraid.

Let's build a Lumberyard then.

Let's build a Lumberyard then.

Why do we need another lumberyard?  The one we already have will hold 16 trees (it’s currently holding no trees…).  What we need is more felled trees (and more planks).  Wolfkey and I have started on that by creating separate axes and using them to chop down trees.  Each of our axes have a second “use” available if you want to chop down more trees.  Once we have more trees in the lumberyard (beginning of next turn, not sure if we can use “projected” resources), someone can turn them into planks!

Is that what that does? I thought it might let Labourers chop down trees. Didn't realise we had one already.

Yeah, there doesn’t seem to be any way to assign a laborer to cut down trees.  It’s something we just need to do ourselves.  Also, creating a new lumberyard (which is ridiculous when we aren’t even using the first one to capacity) requires not only 4 planks (which we have), but also 2 felled trees (which we don’t have*).  I’d suggest doing something that doesn’t require planks this turn, and creating a cruckhouse the next time we have 6 planks available.

*I don’t think we can use the trees that Imp and I have cut down before the start of next turn.  I could be wrong, though.  You’d have to ask @SCREE about that.  (And while you’re at it, you might ask if the laborer assigned to craft planks can use one of the trees that Imp and I cut down to make planks (,before the start of next turn), and whether those planks can be combined with the 4 we already have to make a cruckhouse (,again, before the start of next turn)).

I don't think we want a crackhouse.

Also how can we build a crackhouse if we don't have any crackheads or crack?

You can use resources the same turn they are gained :D

@SCREE, are they gained when we post the action, or are they gained when you post the turn?  Also, do we have to wait for you to post the turn before we can use things produced by workers, or can we use them before then?  Trying to get some clarification (and hoping that Kashyyk can build that cruckhouse this turn…).

Chop down a tree. Use a flimsy axe.

Question: the turn says that we have 11 workers, but only 10 are listed.  Is that intentional?  Also, we should definitely assign the two new gnomes to food.  At this rate we won’t have enough.
