Turn 22
TURNTURNTURN

Many Gnomes take to the thinking fields to really, really, properly professionally ponder the concept of Distillation. There is alot of sweaty foreheads, posturing with chins under fists, and thoughtful posing under the hot day's sun. One Gnome decides, toss this for a game of soldiers, and instead goes off to build the very first Lumber Yard of the Settlement. The trees and planks are quickly dragged over into better storage conditions, as the Lumber Yard turns out to be quite roomy. Some of the Workers even start to take a shine to the idea of crafting planks in the new facilities.

Another Strange Symbol is found hidden in the mud pits. Don't worry about it.

Flint storage - which is comprised of a pile tossed haphazardly near the pits - reaches capacity for the first time.

The last shovel is used to gather mud and promptly breaks, while the dream of creating the Bigger Mud Pile becomes tantalizingly close in possibility.

The level of herbs in the Healer's Hut reaches unprecedented levels, and one pioneering Gnome starts the process of learning to correctly dry and store them. If successful, perhaps the dried herbs would have implications that tie in nicely with the distillation research currently being undertaken.

One Gnome brings another tree back to the settlement, as well as some much needed sticks, which are in short supply.

Probably. Also Mud Storage will cap off with Egan's action. Perhaps this is when the dream of the Bigger Mud Pile becomes reality?

Yes, but keep 1, I think.  We may want to study it, but too many is clearly bad.

Clearly we need to finish researching weapons so that we can start researching weaponization of various things, such as the strange symbols.
