Build cruck house, hire 2 workers.

This gets scary.  We can only store 10 food without risking rot.

Now we're going to have to feed 12.  It's not impossible, but it's getting closer to impossible.

We have a second gatherers hut. Also you should try to assign the workers to make planks.

Pray tell, what is “Temper”, how is it made, and what is it useful for?  Two units of “Temper” were made during the last turn, and I’ve searched the dictionary, but none of the definitions fit your use of “Temper” as a substance that can be produced, stockpiled, and (presumably) used.

Turn 17
TURNTURNTURN

The very first cruck house goes up, leering over all the mud huts with it's shiny new supremacy. Two workers move in, waiting to be assigned to tasks, and enjoying their spare time.

Tools are used, progress is made by the thinker Gnomes, and a brand new gatherer's Hut goes up to store more food and prevent spoilage. An attempt is made to hunt rats, but the Thinker Gnomes reckoned they might need something to do with weapons first. The afflicted worker could not be found to be given the gift of an axe, so another Gnome uses it instead. Where is that guy, anyway?

Speaking of planks, the workshop works around the clock turning felled trees into building materials. Everything was going well!


Event
The Wise Man woke up from his coma. The strange symbols around camp start to glow. Are there more of them then you remember?

"The Spirits!" he bellows, "The spirits are angry!!"

A whaling screaming vortex sweeps through the forest and clearing disorientating you! Unseen hands throw mud bricks in the air and disrupt stockpiles! You watch the food stockpiles start to rot before your eyes, despite being under cover!

Effects
There are angry spirits attacking the clearing!
They are causing food to rot and disrupting your work.
Foraging for food has become more dangerous with a 50% chance to fail and get caught in the vortex.
In order to stop the spirits, the strange symbols must be discovered and removed post haste! Otherwise this is your life now.

Renamed 'Temper' to 'Crushed Bricks' which can be useful once kiln technology is unlocked.
