I thought AP was the apparatchik, oh well.

Were you a third party?  A town power role?

Commissars arrived hour before noon and were watching with cold, neutral eyes as Imp shot hector13 in front of everyone. Afterward we children were being sent to rifle through his home, while adults left alive had to explain to Party. We found stocks of western contraband and dutifully reported him as a wrecker. Soon survivors were all being taken to Moscow where Imp and NJW2000, who was working for Party all along, received commendation for job well done. Village being mostly destroyed, we also received new homes in brutalist apartment building and children were given jobs in ammunition factory. We worked hard and, as you know, milok, to this day we live under watchful protective eye of Party and Comrade Stalin.

THE END: COMMUNIST VICTORY.

Is this a victory for town? As close as one could be I guess.

I was a wrecker, it appeared to be a TP type role and NJW was a baddy if his role was red.

I could have won if NJW had used the gum. If all the contraband got used I would win, and I’m pretty sure the other four things got used.

Slightly miffed if you are a survivor and had such control over the vote, but that’s just sour grapes heh.

In saying that I still would have lost if I voted for you successfully anyway.

Win conditions:

Town:
You are a Villager. You win if the enemies of the village are dead and at least one villager remains alive.

Communist:
You are a Party Apparatchik. Years ago, you were recruited to spy on this village, but you've been lax. Now that the Commissars are coming, you have to hurry and clean things up to save face. You win if all Wreckers are dead and enough Villagers have been killed that you can outvote them.

Capitalist:
You are a Wrecker. Screw this one-party system - you want to live free and die, ideally, never. You know the Commissars are on the lookout for you and you'll do whatever it takes to save yourself. You win if all Party Apparatchiks are dead and enough Villagers have been killed that you can outvote them, or if all CONTRABAND has been used at least once each by some player other than yourself.

Survivor:
You are a Retired Revolutionary. You know how to go along to get along, and your connections from the war will keep you afloat no matter what happens. You win if you are still alive at the end of the game.

So no, this is not a win for town. :P

Well played NJW.

Hopefully this illustrates why we should shoot survivors :p

Abilities:
All townies and Imp started with contraband. Imp and both factions started with special abilities.

First, NJW2000 started with the ability:
Secret Tribunal: Night: If your target is a Wrecker or has used CONTRABAND, you kill your target.
This was your nightkill. I warned you it was dangerous to use contraband! Obviously, you can see that first TricMagic, then AnimePigeon were killed.

hector13 started with the ability:
Black Market: If you come into possession of any CONTRABAND, you can swap it for any other CONTRABAND at your choosing, triggering any effects as if the previous holder had given it to you voluntarily. You do not find out who held the CONTRABAND you take.
This would be used n2, but it didn't end up mattering. You'll see how below.

TricMagic started with:
CONTRABAND CHEWING GUM: Day/Night: Roleblock your target.
This soon went to hector13 at the end of d1, who passed it on to NJW2000 at the end of d2.

sofaJack started with:
CONTRABAND CIGARETTES: Day: You gain an extra vote, but you die at the end of the day if you are Primed. Night: If your target is Primed, your target dies.
This was given to CrystalizedMire d1, and passed on to hector13 d2. hector13 swapped it to Imp for an AK-47 (see below) n2.

CrystalizedMire started with:
CONTRABAND MAGAZINES: Day: You distract the other players with pornography so that you cannot be voted for lynching. Night: You redirect your target to the target of your choice using distracting pornography.
These were given to NJW2000 d1, who passed them to hector13 d2.

AnimePigeon started with:
CONTRABAND VODKA: Day: You splash your target with vodka; your target is now Primed. Night: You spend a quiet night in, drinking; you are protected from all actions, but you also become Primed.
This one was the only one never used. It was given to NJW2000 d1, who also passed it to hector13 d2.

Imp started with:
CONTRABAND AK-47: Day: You intimidate your target into voting the same way you have voted at the time you use this ability. (This includes not voting, if you have not voted.) Night: You kill your target.

This one was a little tricky, because Imp also had the ability:
AK-47s for everyone!: When you give away the CONTRABAND AK-47, you keep a copy for yourself. We churn out dozens of these things.
The first AK-47 was given to AnimePigeon d1, who gave it away to NJW2000 d2. The second copy was also given to AnimePigeon d2. A third copy was stolen by hector in exchange for the cigarettes n2. Imp had the fourth on d3.

Next post I'll tell you about the actions that happened.

On Day 1, TricMagic roleblocked hector13 when he said he would take his shot, but hector13 had no day actions to do anyway. It's possible I should have made it a whole-cycle block to make it stronger, but hector13 didn't action that night either! CrystalizedMire triggered vote immunity, which made everyone mad. Then Imp threatened sofaJack into suicide at gunpoint, setting off the quickhammer wars that ended up dominating the game.

Night 1, NJW2000 killed TricMagic and nobody else did anything.

On Day 2, all at once while I was AFK, AnimePigeon used one gun on hector13, CrystalizedMire gained an extra vote, and Imp used the other gun on CrystalizedMire, dumping a total of five votes (including both of CrystalizedMire's!) on... well, unfortunately, a townie. Can't win 'em all.

On Night 2, NJW2000 killed AnimePigeon, of course. No other actions.

And finally, on Day 3, Imp used a gun to quickhammer hector13. Hector13 tried to use his on NJW2000 too, but alas, too late - I would have let them resolve simultaneously since they both arrived before I could update, but hector13's vote was of course on himself at that point due to Imp's action, so it would have just hammered him harder.

I hope a valuable lesson has been learned about quickhammering. :P

Thank you all for somehow allowing me to survive.  I utterly cannot believe I was permitted to live, and I am so incredibly grateful.  I am sorry for the deaths, all the many, many, many deaths, three of which I directly ensured during the day.

But anyone who moves for my death this game has a problem named Imp.

I directly killed only those who I could tell moved toward my death, the two who voted me, and Hector who I had strong intuition I could not win with.

Wow, I see I could have won with Hector too, at least potentially.  OMG, Most Glorious Leader, this survivor thanks you so deeply for a game that was comparatively 'easy' for a survivor to win; one where I don't also have to find and weed out the slots that I cannot possibly win with even if I'm alive when they end the game. What a huge relief!

Imp is at best a useless survivor that is going to just make our lives miserable and contribute nothing.

Hey, I wanna point out that survivor is not necessarily useless.  In any B12 game.

Our Glorious Leader MaxSpin had a survivor game where he was super pro-town and won with town.

I had one where I was super pro-town and lost with town.

I didn't try to anti-town this game either.

But survivors can be really useful, powerful, and helpful!

If people were not threatening me so much; I mean, it's your choice.  But if you guys had tried to solve around me instead of vote me, I would have patiently and happily helped!  I know I can win with town, you're the one guys I only have to fight if you fight me!

Thank you for the chance to have these lessons, of how, as a survivor, to try to take complete control of the elims.

It was fascinating.

I have always before been anti-hammer.

I think I go back to being anti-hammer, but this was a very wild ride and I learned a lot I might never have experienced otherwise!
