Image: Evil Brotherhood mutant and Friends of Humanity Cyborg brawling in broad daylight
Title: Gang War in District X
By Captain Headline
In a shocking escalation of criminal violence, the streets of Disctrict X have become a battleground between two ruthless factions: the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the Friends of Humanity. The ongoing conflict has left city officials scrambling to contain the chaos and protect innocent civilians caught in the crossfire. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, a notorious group comprising individuals with superhuman abilities, has long been a shadowy presence in the city. Known for their brutal tactics and disregard for human life, the Brotherhood has been implicated in numerous high-profile crimes, including robberies, kidnappings, and assassinations. Their members, who possess a range of powers from telekinesis to shape-shifting, have made them a formidable force, challenging even the most seasoned law enforcement agencies. On the other side of this violent confrontation are the Friends of Humanity, a militant organization of cybernetically augmented humans. Driven by an intense hatred for mutants and anyone they deem to be "impure," the Friends of Humanity have armed themselves with advanced technology, including exoskeletons, energy weapons, and surveillance drones. Their agenda is as clear as it is terrifying: to eradicate mutants and enforce their vision of a human-only society.

Actions are locked-in. Check out this spin-off.

Huh. I was wondering why you would allow two players to have the same Vice when it was supposed to be an identifier.

Yep, one of them is identified ;p

On that note, is there some way we should differentiate Crystalizedmire and Wiiswitch? I see Angry as typically argumentative and irritated all the time, and Rage as typically normal with outburst spikes when set off. What do you two think about this? How are your vices different? If that works, I am going with that. I might change Angry to Irritability to make the distinction more clear...

I was looking at your actions and there's a problem, I can definitely tell in the way you phrase things...

...you all need to quit having so much fun.

That's tough, if a faster pace would make you happy then it's a mismatch for what I am capable of with this, right now. I have no goals with pacing, even making an accommodation to allow more time for replies if I take longer. My goal is for the game to survive to turn 12. Once those train tracks are set in this wild west, then perhaps as we continue, or in future sequels it will be easier to plow ahead quickly. By playing this you are trading speed for novelty, which are my priorities.

You made a post about updating "Three times a week maximum". Perhaps I was the fool for thinking that it meant "More often than once a week".

tbf, I did say "you get 4 days to reply if I take longer than 2 weeks to update", implying I thought that was a real enough possibility to make plans for it.

I assume there is some layer of 'hey this fun, I want more' in there(I am pretty bad at subtext though). All I can say is I'm baking the cake, no one wants a runny cake.

Rest assured, I wouldn't complain about a lack of updates for a bad game.

- The previous time actions were locked was May 12, and the previous update was on May 17.
- The current action lock was May 20. It is now May 25.

Your analogy has turned against you!
Better take that cake out of the oven soon, because nobody likes burnt cake!

Supernerd, I need to be very blunt. Your action is about 5 times longer than anyone else's. Most of that time, is just me trying to fight my own demand avoidance and get the willpower to push through. I think your enthusiasm adds a lot to this, but from here on out I can only give you two choices. Option 1 is to completely leave me alone in regards to how long this is taking. I intend to get to turn 12, which for me is difficult and lofty already, just the game surviving that long, I don't know that I can do it. Option 2 is you decide it's too slow to hold your interest, and then you quit.

I asked you to shorten your turn, which you did not do. I might be able to get used to it, but there can't be any rushing me.
