I spit and grimace, filth in my mouth again, bah. Must have been some fight, those trolls always tossing me into the trash after... oh. Duh! Not the usual trash pile for me this time, no...
I notice the amazing, incredible being nodding at me and can't help but nod back. This... must be an ally. No Duh!, but they seem ideal except for my sense that they can't tell scum from savior... no matter. This isn't that game, despite my incredible urge to guard some GM somewhere and vote literally anyone else...
But this earnest, artful, clearly my companion who has this fantastic gun looks away from me and I follow her gaze, wiping my mouth and grimacing again, then I see what has her attention.
There! The enemy. It's no Duh! at all that I want its head. Maybe actually its torso. And I have some ideas, not
questions, about how to claim its head as ours.
What I
want to do is direct my lariat to extend, only the ends sticky, and reach out towards the robot. Is it even close enough? The furthest away possible seems to be 60 feet; I bet we're closer than that. We're in range, or will be soon, I'm moving purposefully towards the robot.
I'm only trying to be slightly quiet as I move a short distance away from my companion, then I start to shout,
"I find it very, very easy to get hit
I get robot attention, every bit.
I stride across this deep thick trashy filth,
Your head is mine, I hold the line."My intention with my highly unusual lariat is for it to animate itself, extend and attach to one of the robot's legs, preferably the
right leg. I'm probably throwing the lariat in a gentle toss towards the robot to help ensure it's close enough should I think that needed, while I am walking towards the robot myself.
When I see the lariat has successfully attached, I intend I command it to go back to its normal length, contracting so that all of it is at the robot, where it is to sticky itself around
BOTH the robot's
right leg and
left leg and attempt to help trip it, at bare minimum make it harder for the robot to move its legs for balance (usually shifting stance and being able to move a bit is needed when swinging a large, likely heavy club around), and maybe easier to hit both legs at once, like if I tackle or swing the sword across them (clearly not on level with where the lariat binds).
I have no idea how much time this needs. I'm going to shout bad tanky taunting lyrics at it while approaching, intending to distract it from handling or attacking my lariat or doing anything useful or effective about maybe protecting itself from my companion or even targeting her somehow.
When I am close enough I intend to challenge and overcome its balance; no Duh!; I need it to fall so I can hit its head a lot, or maybe just once
perfectly competently. I am not yet sure if I mean to
tackle both those legs to bring it down, or perhaps
sword strike the more vital-seeming for its balance leg, with intent to make it fall, or perhaps
tackle the torso. But, this is what I am made for, no Duh! indeed, and unless something changes, that's my 1 or more turn plan to put into action.
"I am a tank that lives to behead you!
I keep my partner being squishy goo!
And you will find that when our time is through
Your head is mine, I hold the line!"
I have no idea if this is one round's worth of actions or many; it's my goal and plan unless something changes, even if it takes multiple rounds (hope you let me adjust should it be multi-round and yes, stuff is changing.... I don't know how slow I really am...)
