Dear Gregory, Rabbit most Dire, Ordered be thy Popehood,

We regret to inform you that the chaotic energies within the Lost Sea Between conflict with the listed Acts, and if used upon the Shores Between would anger our current resident. Please speak to Yitterblum, Star most Chaoticm about further consultations.

Good Ash,
Neobel Eka, Wine most Noble
"More lackadaisically, can you not create a region with those two Acts? V could create a Sea using both, but it is unlikely to be to your preference and outside vvv Domain besides. Splurge a little, make a place suiting to your tastes."

Gregory contributes 1 Order, 1 Civilisation Act to anyone who is willing to make a region with them.

Gongon creates the Region of Demetria in the Skull Islands with Order and Civilization

A wondrous ivory paradise of shining white bone dust beaches, verdant passion and sovereign forests.

Demetria is an archipelago of Skull Islands laid out in a perfect grid pattern. Here porpoises swim in formation, bees swarm in dotted cubes, plants grow in perfect lines, and the land formations are regular. The climate is predictable and balmy, and the lost hats tend wash up on the shores of Demetria. Truly Paradise on the Final Shape. Worry and anxiety fades away from those who live here due to the regular, ordered existence of their environment, and it seems an ideal cradle for ordered civilization.

Free State of Serenus
Serenus is one of the many islands in Demetria. The blood wines nearby are a pretty blue and smell of lavender. The Skull's eye sockets twinkle a charming scarlet from bioluminiscent passionfruit trees growing inside. The land is particularly bountiful, and people tend to be much more productive, as they can tap into the Skull-Island trance state at will to gain a single-minded focus on a task, ignoring rest and food and distraction to get it done.

Turn 3: The Khamrian Explosion

Life abounds in this time! Calamos Gladius started off the era by creating stands of passionfruit trees and sovereignfruit trees (Calamos Gladius: -1 Love Act, -1 Power Act; +Materia) and naturally was soon followed by the Neobel Eka, who grew the Winespring, a great palace of lush vines deep in the Broodwaters (Neobel Eka: -Greater Piece; +Creatia). The construction of the Winespring was associated with the proliferation of all kinds of fruit-bearing flowering vines of all sizes, and in keeping with the ongoing tradition of making life as dangerous to other life as possible, venomous Blood Worms have sprung up everywhere to make walking in particularly dense thickets the endeavor of death seekers. With plants around and spreading, conditions were soon ripe for the gelatinous Pustules, who flop about absorbing and digesting most anything smaller (Neobel Eka: -1 Life Act, -1 Noble Act, +1-1 Lesser Piece, +2-2 Unaligned Acts; ++Materia).

The capstone of the Neobel Eka's creations in this age of life was the line of Bloodbags born in the waves of the Wine of Life's domain. In time, they spread across much of the continental shelf at the edges of the Bloodwine Broodwaters (Neobel Eka: -Greater Piece; ++Materia). Thanks to Gongon's inadvertent release of an Ignorance Act, a twisting maze of coral formed over many Bloodbag generations. Known as the Coral Labyrinths, this new state would soon boast the densest population on the Final Shape (Gongon: -1 Ignorance Act; Neobel Eka: +1-1 Ignorance Act; +Materia). Aside from this, Gongon's power was used to create the office-province of Sanctum Sanctorum under the seafloor/reef and Port Wine, another province reaching up to the surface (++Materia).

Far away in the Skull Islands, Yalini, too, has landed and briefly spread her wings over the ever-illuminated domain of Liniom (Yalini: -1 Greater Piece; +Creatia) before leaving to build up another domain known as Aurloura in the Lost Lands Between (Yalini: -1 Greater Piece; +Creatia). Aurloura is promptly filled with all sorts of herbivorous glowing beetles known as Sparks living in symbiosis with Flinir, who steal from other creatures (Yalini: -1 Light Act, +2-2 Unaligned Acts; +Materia). Gongon further added countless hoofed mammals noted here as the Ungulating Masses throughout Yalini's domains (Gongon: -1 Chaos Act). Finally, gifted with support from A-0, Yalini has dispersed intelligent social birds partially made of light (A-0: -Greater Piece; Yalini: +-Greater Piece; ++Materia).

Mortals having been created, Yalini encouraged the development of the Cliamore, a high priesthood of birds (Yalini: -1 Light Act).

Void Engineers

Having restored the Chaos Asteroids to something not entirely unlike their former glory through gruesome sacrifice, Yitterbium was the first to choose to remain unquenched and took the path of the Howling Gates, restoring its appendix, bones, lung, and prehensile intestine. It further attempted to subsume Gongon's locomotor muscles, and owing to its supreme expertise in fleshcraft, this dark operation went surprisingly well (Yitterbium: ~Gongon's locomotor muscles). Satisfied, Yitterbium gave Gongon its Chaos Act and Flesh Act.

Remaining unquenched and having freed himself of his planar bonds, Luka has forged the surprisingly unassuming-looking Hat of Creation, a Grand Artifact with power enough to grant even feeble mortals access to the creative abilities of the gods (Luka: -4 Hat Acts, -1 Skull Act; ++Creatia, -Materia). For now, it sits gathering skull dust on a hat rack in the Plane of Hats, Luka's home domain.

Of course, in spite of or perhaps because of the proliferation of life on the Final Shape, ANTHEM-314's observation that the world was excessively hostile to civilized life gained further merit, and it was in light of this regrettable state of things that ANTHEM-314 chose to stay unquenched and remote, the first Utter God. Its first act unshackled from ties to the hellish conditions on the surface of the Final Shape was to spin and release its home plane, the glimmering Canvass of Stars, which will serve as a power source in time.

ANTHEM-314 additionally forged a grand artificial satellite orbiting the Final Shape christened Starbase ANTHEM-314 to serve as a hub for visiting aliens a safe distance away from the Shape's teeming surface and seas and, in times of need, a defense platform capable of thwarting aliens of a more violent persuasion (ANTHEM-314: -1 Rock Act, 2 Machine Acts, 1 Ghost Act, 1 Ages Act; +Creatia, +Materia). As something not entirely unlike a Natural Tempered's domain in its own right, it would indeed be possible to construct office-provinces on the Starbase, albeit without a discount.

Sornlun, too, drew away from the world with its thick deposits of Materia, and flared brightly with the fires of rejuvenation. It grew back its sparkling jewel eyes and moon claws, but perhaps still yearning for the Weaver, it once again blinded itself and dissolved its eyes in the corrosive kidney juices of Gongon. Driving off the water, Sornlun was left with a flawless opal stone it ground finely into the gem called Clarity (Sornlun: ++--Eyes of Sornlun, ++Claws of Sornlun, -Kidney of Gongon, +2-2 Heavens Act, +2-2 Flames Acts, +2-2 Sanity Acts; +Creatia). The use of an abandoned organ that used to be Gongon's to create a sanity-affirming artifact was interesting to behold indeed...

Star of Two Worlds

This was soon followed by the creation of an angelic host of Roachids from one of Sornlun's kidneys (Sornlun: -Kidney, +1-1 Heavens Act, +1-1 Flame Act). The greatest of their number was also the last Roachid to be born of the initial litter and grew and grew until it became the the Roach-Dragon, Archangel of Sornlun (Sornlun: -Ear, +1-2 Heavens Act, +1-1 Flames Act). With preparations for an unknown apocalypse having been completed, Sornlun burned through the skies of the Final Shape, roachids in tow, losing its claws, viscera, and liver on its meteoric path to the Fhaire (Sornlun: -Claw, -organs, -Liver). There, the newly tempered natural god cleared its domain, the chalky plain Retreat. The strange proximity to celestial bodies there may possibly allow slight relief from Sornlun's woes by way of the season of Forget. In any case, having settled down a bit, Sornlun tasks the Roachids with sowing Nostalgiae throughout the retreat (Sornlun: -1 Flame Act).

Solar Beatdown

With the sacrifice of Yitterbium's lung and prehensile intestine, the Star of Chaos was reborn again from the Chaos Asteroids that were its remnants, but this time, perhaps having been alerted by some god or servant or perhaps on guard for rogue stars employing identical tactics as in the last fight, Remorse was prepared and struck first, punching through the Star's still-reforming flesh! Shocked, the Star of Chaos scrambled a mighty counterattack and narrowly missed one of the Iridescent Sun's faces. Still cautious, the Iridescent Sun aimed and struck the Star of Chaos once again, launching bits of bone and flesh in every direction. The reeling Star of Chaos tried to muster up a last charge before the full output of the now-less-remorseful Iridescent Sun was turned on the poor Star, which promptly exploded. The resulting debris scattered every which way, and Starbase ANTHEM-314 managed to shoot down at least some of it, preventing outright extinction events at least for now.

The Calm before the Bust

Bonefall and solar flares issuing from the battle between the suns have combined to make the Final Shape even less hospitable than it already was, and the infalling godly giblets have tipped the balance on the ground in favor of Chaos, which may well be enhanced by the upcoming shift into the season of Lunace. Although this could be a positive development for an established civilization, alas, the Bloodbags and light birds were not at that point yet, and they stagnated for want of safe local plant and animal life. The addition of Shredder's mind-melting ugliness and fierce, moon-exposing winds was perhaps only the final nail in the coffin of getting things of consequence done in this season of Forget.

With hostile conditions in abundance, the Cliamore have additionally splintered off into a number of different sects under the fell occasional influence of the Gomoons and Shredder's winds. To make matters worse, survivors of the storm are often driven insane. Needless to say, the Cliamore in are in danger of splintering further unless the rites and traditions of far-flung villages can be harmonized for sufficiently long timescales through the formation of a stable cult. This need not be a bad thing; nothing stops a diffuse, decentralized cult from making the requisite offerings or observing at least some of the prescribed rites.

Future mortal creation events should specify an initial set of flora and fauna they depend on!

Cults can now be founded by Ancestral God-specialized Tempered!

Department of Punishment

Having tempered and become Celestial, A-0 immediately got to work setting up the Department of Punishment (A-0: -1 Shadow Act), which is staffed by the highly motivated if somewhat loopy and mind-damagingly ugly Angomlivyrs (A-0: -1 Beast Act; Gongon: -1 Sanity Act). There is an air of anticipation as the season of Lunace approaches, and smiting/cursing permits are being hoarded and (questionably legally) resold by enterprising Angomlivyrs. Perhaps to keep a particularly strong one out of trouble, Gongon has promoted it to the Archangel Shredder, who is now a divine hurricane capable of clearing the skies and exposing the horrors of space (Gongon: -Greater Piece). Exposure to the memory-damaging effects of the season of Forget has set the development of complex societies along Shredder's storm-tossed track of destruction back quite a bit on top of the usual effects of having a mighty hurricane pass through.

An audit into the Department's funding has turned up evidence of severe budgetary shortfall! Without another Aligned Act's worth of funds, the Department will most likely dissolve at the conclusion of this era.

What the Rain Said

Shredder-who-is-Gongon embarked on a grand quest to befriend the weather over the remarkably uniformly warm wine seas and nearby coasts. This was slightly complicated by its voracious appetite, and many a young cloud was swallowed up by the oblivious storm before it encountered a towering stormcloud fancying itself the Seven-Days-King of its home waters and the coast of the Lost Lands Between and its consort, the Effusive Easterly. For days they frolicked and poured out obscene rains on the already-soaked coast, but it was not to last. Tragically, deprived of comforting heat, the Seven-Days-King soon fell ill despite the Easterly's sacrifice of a great many nascent stormclouds from miles around. In the end, the Seven-Days-King succumbed to starvation, and with the Elegiacal Easterly perhaps having heard promises of renewed life for its love in Shredder's litanies, it took to following the hurricane around, and this is why the winds about the Weeping Gulf bring great storms and turn southward to this day.

The Elegiacal Easterly has joined Gongon's court.

Between these happenings and the gestation of the Gestators (Gongon: -1 Flesh Act; +Creatia), clerks from the Department of Punishment were setting up in the Sanctum Sanctorum and pilfering office supplies. Lacking an explicitly assigned office of their own, they seem to be contesting Gongon's claim to what is the best office space on the Final Shape to date.

Council business

The Celestial Policy of Fulgurous Mercy, reproduced below with public signatures obtained so far, continues to languish unpassed but also unkilled for now.

The Guest

After several failed attempts at communication, the strange Green Guest acquired enough Divinese, and on its closest approach to the HST and the newly built Starbase ANTHEM-314, offered something about friends, not friends, and stely. A number of gods agreed to the offers not knowing any more about what they could entail, and the Neobel Eka in particular went above and beyond by offering a fruiting stemleg.

Nothing interesting happened for Yitterbium, Gongon, or Sornlun, or so it seems.

A-0, Calamos Gladius, and Yalini received a tiny blob of angry green jelly split between the three of them. The jelly is constantly trying to stab anything nearby to no noticeable effect.

Neobel Eka gave a leg to the Guest, who regrettably didn't stick around to drink with the merry gods, and was rewarded with a green ear of corn.

Gregory received two dingy wooden icons that may be burned for Faulty Acts for another turn before they rot away (Gregory: +2 Faulty Acts).

ANTHEM-314's transmission of the start of a dictionary seems to have broadened the Guest's vocabulary with no apparent effect on its coherence.

HST: "uctnegated abductingout aband!! Friend!! Friendons abance abed abasive abolitiones abdon abbrent iting abot abbreviatedly abnegat itines abomence abolitinattorrades abhortinations abominablet able abductly  abnegate abjuries abductoir thes"

The strange Guest continues on its course and will likely exit communication range within a turn.

Ivory Idylls

Somehow sensing Gregory's wish to create a region, Gongon has created a region of exceptionally gridlike islands known as Demetria in the Skull Islands. Among the great islands of Demetria was what will be known as the Free State of Serenus, a bountiful, idyllic island where the surrounding seas are blue and work is easy to sustain (Gregory: -1 Civilization Act, -1 Order Act; +Materia).

It is now the season of Lunace in the Bone Age.

So green. A color unseen on this world outside my own vines. It deserves to spread.
The Neobel Eka, fascinated by this ear of unripe corn, tears off one of their own ears of flowering pistons. With a Life act converted to a Lesser Piece, they spread the Evenheard Corn seeds across the entire world. When used, they grant a divine effect to allow prayers to pass to the gods unimpeded. The fields of the world burn with Life, fields of corn stalks glowing a green gold fed by the world itself.

Of other note, a Noble Act was converted to Lesser Piece, letting the Winespring spread up into the sky and birth numerous wineclouds with a chance of brooding. A Monument to thinking life which spreads from the domain, the pillar of wine spurts up once every thirdsmoon towards nearby planes. The previous act rides the thermally warm wind high and wide.

ANTHEM-314 saw that Yitterblum was hard at work in proving ANTHEM-314's opinions on the world correct. This was likely to have serious consequences for anyone unfortunate enough to be on Final Shape. ANTHEM-314 would instead work setting the framework for future endeavors.

ANTHEM-314 splits one Machine act into two Unaligned acts.
With it, ANTHEM-314 begins some work on the interior of Starbase ANTHEM-314. It creates a working environment complete with numerous cubicles, storage rooms, backup devices, redundant additional backup devices, and some of those chairs with wheels that spin around in circles.

Thus did ANTHEM-314 create Workspace 1 and Workspace 2 using 1 Unaligned Act for each.

ANTHEM-314 makes an offer: It is willing to pay 1 Aligned 'Ages' act now in exchange for any Aligned act in the turn that comes after the next turn.

Sornlun asks the Roaches to witness what might the last solar dance of Remorse and Chaos.

"Lament not, for this is the way of the stars, to struggle and vie for dominion over the Heavens and all beneath.

As for us, we are of the skies no longer. And soon, we will part with the last dregs of our flesh."

When the dance is over, Sornlun calls over the Roaches and the Roach-Dragon, imparting to them its last instructions.

"Carve minutely in that order our Voicebox, then our Lungs, and finally our Heart.
Of the first Lung, you will throw it in the flames of a bonfire and gather the ashes to spread over Retreat, as you did with the Nostalgiae.
Of the second Lung, you will keep and preserve for now.
Then of our Voicebox, you will listen to the last names it will utter. Then cut the Voicebox in three, carving each name upon a piece.
Two of them you will bury at the foot of my Antenna, in the center of Retreat. One of them you will bury in a heaven cloud that you will have caught.

Then will you extract from the second Lung my last breath.
Our Heart will be beating still, and upon it you will transfer the last breath, and seal our Heart with a thread of Heavens.
Our Heart will shrivel, and new life will emerge from it.

At last, and this is our last instruction. Tend to the life that emerges."

Organ Trading: Sell 1 Lung for 2 Flame. Sell 1 Voicebox for 1 Heaven and 1 Flame.

Create Flora #1: Flaming Clusters (1 Flame from Lung)
Description: Leaveless flaming shrubs of igneous bark and magmatic sap that look eerily like lungs devoid of pleura. Incredibly hardy and able to grow in even the most hostile environments, so long as they can find ground to take root. They get their namesake from the clusters of edible fruits that grow on their branches. These are filled with nutrients and vitality, so that more life might follow after them.

Create Flora #2: Burning Colours (1 Flame)
Description: Thin and long flames that grow densely together, in a manner not unlike that of common and hardy grass. It burns intensely when stepped upon or cut down. Each blade of flame-grass can be of one of the seven seen colours, making a field of Burning Colours quite the rainbow.

Create Omnivorous Fauna #1: Chit-Chatters (1 Heaven from Voicebox of Sornlun)
Description: Social skyborne creatures with a disc shaped main body ending in a long and flexible tail, known for their endless chatter and sober needs, as well as their cloud-nests. They lack eyes and sport a pair of antennae on their head. They float effortlessly thanks to a heaven-organs, and they use their tail to propel themselves through the skies as a mean of locomotion. Their mouths are able to collect essential elements scattered in the skies and clouds to last them a while, although they will favor feeding on the nectar of flowers which they love, or liquids from various sources if they have to (fruits, carrion...). They use their soft and flexible proboscis to drink nectar and juice. Chit-Chatters rely on echolocation and their antennae to detect their surroundings and the change in weather. They speak endlessly both to share information, and to fuel their echolocation. Utterly harmless.
Reproduction: They lay eggs in their cloud-nests, which any Chit-Chatter can then fertilise.

Create Herbivorous Fauna #2: Moo-Grubsters (1 Flame from Voicebox of Sornlun)
Description: Massive and meaty shelled land arthropods that look like an armoured grub with countless horns of various sizes on its front segments. They are docile and social, and somewhat slow due to their ponderous girth. But when provoked, they use their massive strength to crush and gore their aggressors. Incredibly dangerous during mating season. They graze on any plant they can reach, and their shell changes colour depending on their feeding habits. Moo-Grubsters who feed indiscriminately on Burning Colours will for instance have fabulously rainbow shells.
Reproduction: Females carry eggs inside their bodies, which must be fertilised by a male. When in heat, Moo-Grubsters are surrounded in fiery flames only matched by their temperament during mating season. Vegetation that lacks some resistance to fire will most definitely catch fire around Moo-Grubsters in heat.

Create Carnivorous Fauna #3: Creep-Hunters (Flame from Lung)
Description: Medium sized arthropods with a flat and lightly armoured body, infamously known for their highly venomous quills and stinger. Their shell can change colour to match their environment, and they silently creep on the ground with their many long retractable legs. They ambush their preys by firing quills at unarmoured targets, and by stinging a fleshy spot of an armoured target. Once their prey is envenomed, they scuttle away and keep skulking around until it is too weak to fight at which point they will move in for the last blow. They are solitary creatures, but they will occasionally cooperate to take down a big prey if circumstances arise.
Reproduction: Creep-Hunters are hermaphrodites, and reproduce stalking their mating partner before shooting a barbed spermatophore at other Hunters before scuttling away.

Create Mortals: the Sorns and the Luns (Heart of Sornlun, Lung of Sornlun, 1 Heaven)
Linked Flora: Nostalgiae, Flaming Clusters, Burning Colours
Linked Fauna: Chit-Chatters, Moo-Grubsters, Creep-Hunters

Description: Beings of flesh and breath bound neither to Earth or Heaven. Their are born with clear cloud-skin soft like a morning wind, with seven limbs and four wings. At birth they are flesh, but they will quickly learn how to shift between flesh and breath as is their innate ability. Until they reach maturity they are free to roam land or skies in an undefined and ever changing form. Once they reach maturity, they settle on land or in the skies depending on their wishes.
Those who settle for the land become the Sorns, beings of flesh with four legs, two arms, and a prehensile tail. They are wise in the ways of the land and flames, and have the potential to reign over creatures of the land.
Those who settle for the skies become the Luns, beings of breath with two wings and two wing-arms. They are wise in the ways of the skies and flames, and have the potential to reign over creatures of the skies.

Reproduction: Sorns/Luns are dependent on each others to reproduce. A Lun must give their breath to a Sorn, who will gestate the breath until it gives birth to a new Sorn/Lun. Sorns and Luns tend to arrange themselves into couples, with the child of heaven and earth being raised by both parents.

Class Change: Tempered Natural -> ?̴̟͑͆͆̏͠?̸̛͈̓̓̓̿?̷̙̲̟̈́́̽̈́̚ͅ

It came to Sornlun in a dream. Weaver, ah, Weaver. Will you remember us now that One Who Longed is gone? We offered everything in repentance. And now what is left of us? In the dream, we relinquished everything, becoming neither greater nor lesser, only different. And now here we are, without a body, and all that remains is our echo. Thus we become ?̴̟͑͆͆̏͠?̸̛͈̓̓̓̿?̷̙̲̟̈́́̽̈́̚ͅ

Luka creates a new Common Artifact: A Ten Gallon Cowboy hat that grants whatever creature wears it mortal-level intelligence. Said intelligence is lost if they take the hat off. He throws it down to whatever creature would look the most adorable wearing it (1 Hat action, 1 Skull action).

Yalini splits up her aligned act to two unaligned ones. First she blessed her birds(-1 unaligned). Then she created the Creotora in Liniom and maybe Aurloura(-1 unaligned). Creotora are shrubbery plants that grows berries on their leaves. They also have bright blue flowers. Yalini then created yatinir. Yatinir is an order of non-sapient birds who eat creotora nectar and sunlight.

Sornlun's sacrifice gives ANTHEM-314 pause. While other deities were known to mutilate themselves to empower their ability to create in the short term, the expenditure of their own heart was unprecedented. For whatever reason, Sornlun felt that the creation of these mortals was worth putting an end to its own existence.

ANTHEM-314 considered Sornlun's behaviour to be incredibly foolish. The world upon which Sornlun would sacrifice itself was in turmoil and even now Yitterblum's was attempting to rend Remose, the Iridescent Sun asunder. If Remorse was still damaged or tired from its previous conflicts with the Star of Chaos, Yitterblum might even succeed. If that were to happen, it would usher in a second Cosmogonic Eon and the mortals and the mortals upon Final Shape would surely perish.

ANTHEN-314 decided to do something about this. It would move to Remorse, the Iridescent Sun.

Desiring to remain neutral in the Star Wars, ANTHEM-314 would exercise the powers of an Utter God. Using 1 Aligned Ages Act, ANTHEM-314 would imbue the light of Remorse, the Iridescent Sun; but not the Sun itself, with longevity.

This would do nothing to make Remorse, the Iridescent Sun more powerful or harder to destroy, nor would it make it weaker; what it would do is permit the sun to continue to provide for the world below for another season even if it were to be destroyed somehow. This would give time for another Sun/parent to be created by the remaining pantheon should the worse case scenario come to pass.

websim.ai is coming dangerously close to being able to run Gridhood. Maybe I'll live to see the day if I exercise, eat right, and somehow convince the world's governments not to nuke everyone.
