I mean, the sexism in "50 Shades of Grey" is a genre convention too, but I don't see you defending that.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if you don't care, but this is a free-form text-based role-playing game, it would literally cost you nothing to let people play characters with an inconsequential cosmetic difference, it would not compromise your aesthetic vision in any way unless the sexism itself is really important to you. I just personally don't get it.

Yeah, that's fair. I shouldn't have assumed that other people suggesting that it was mandatory were speaking for you just because you didn't answer. Although after you said "it is sexist and I don't care", you must understand why I thought that.

It's not that I have any kind of problem with the genre, I just don't want to be forced into specific roles. I've discussed this with other people doing "magical girl"-genre games and it's never been much of a big deal, everyone seems to get it. So thanks for clarifying, although, again, not that it matters since you found your third anyway.
