Here's what I propose: we execute Oliver, and NJW spends the evening investigating me; if I also turn up as a thief, Max is the one who planted all that evidence and framed the people he paid visits to.
Uh huh.

So you're the framer, then?

I prevented Imp from using kills last night.
Would be pretty convenient for a framer to have an excuse to target those whom others are already dubious of, especially if this anti-town player also knew that no mafia assassinations could occur regardless of their actions, wouldn't it? :-\

NJW, when you conduct your inspections, do you receive the role name or alignment as the result?
Alignment only.

Since there doesn't appear to be anybody with the capacity to kill left in the game, we can choose to no-lynch, letting NJW investigate me and/or Crystal, and then hammer the subsequent days so as to meet our deadline and avoid letting the thread spill over into the weekend.
Actually... is "hammering" not eliminating, allowing us to progress onto the next day faster, on the table, TCMC?

Oliverz

I don't think we should no-elim.

If there are no killing powers left, either my inspect can be trusted and we win killing Oliverz, or my inspect can't be trusted and there's no point stalling to use it.

If there are killing powers left, as I suspect there are, we want to elim today so we get two shots at mafia rather than one.

I obviously can't attribute 100% credibility to inspection results, but I can see Oliverz a 3p who just wants to survive here. If not... I think it's Max and there's some form of manipulation at play on my inspects.

Wait, why?  What reason would this mystery killer person have to neglect using their mystery killing powers? ???

If there's more than one mafia player, which there almost always is, then there's probably more killing power. A lone mafia is generally not referred to as mafia.

It's quite dubious that people haven't realised this.

But like I said - even if there isn't a killing power, stalling rounds just so I can use an inspect doesn't make any sense, because either I've used the inspect successfully already, or it can't actually be relied upon.

Oliverz: Crystalizedmire, NJW, sofanthiel
MaxSpin: Oliverz
Not Voting: MaxSpin

Compelling evidence is brought against Oliverz. Oliverz lashes out, saying that they stole nothing, but it does not persuade the mob. They detain them and investigate their room and belongings, finding them to be a Phantom Thief from the tools found there. However... The treasure still hasn't been found. Where is it?

Day 4 has begun. It will end in 24 hours and 24 minutes. Hammer is 3.

Ok, I inspected CrystalizedMire, and got the result that they're also a thief. Same alignment colour as Oliverz. Which I really don't trust.

I'm starting to wonder if roleflips are reliable in this game.

Also:

TricMagic: is Imp being "not voting" there a typo?

Fixed. It was Max Spin that didn't vote. The Dead can't vote.

I'm not really sure whether we were right or wrong...

Ok, I inspected CrystalizedMire, and got the result that they're also a thief. Same alignment colour as Oliverz.

Wouldn't ya know it?--Maxpin just spent all afternoon lurking behind Crystal, being up to no good at all!
