CYOS Roles
[Auto]: This isn't an ability you use, but an 'always on' effect.
[Free]: You can use this ability without impacting your "one per night" ability limit. Like normal, this ability can only be used once per night (i.e. you can't use a [Free] ability twice in a night).
[Item]: Items are uniquely portable. You may always use an action to Give an Item you're carrying to someone else.
[x-shot]: Uses a shot when used. When all shots are depleted, the item is still carried, but is functionally useless.
Imp Warehouse 13
Improvement -> slow -> blowback -> suspicious -> limitation -> convolution -> Mutation -> flux -> cascade -> Overpowered.
You are the Warehouse 13, store of amazing artefacts. The artefacts in question are all lost in the hands of who-knows-who, doing who knows what.
[Auto] (Improvement)(Mutation)(Blowback)(Overpowered) Artefacts At Large: At the start of the game four other players have powerful artefacts that each have a novel sphere. These are dangerous and should be captured for the Warehouse.
[Auto](Limitation)(Flux)(Blowback)(Improvement)(Mutation) Dangerous Energy Fields: If you ever hold more four or more artefacts, containment will be breached and all artefacts you're carrying, and all items stored in the vaults, will be released back into the world, distributed randomly among the other players. You lose all Store bonuses if this happens.
[Auto] Storehouse: You start with the following artefacts:
[artefact][item](Improvement) Tesla's Coil [target]: Juice yourself up. All limited-shot abilities gain +1 shot.
[artefact][item](Mutation) Adam Smith's Invisible Hand [target]: At the end of the night, if the target has an item, exchange one of their items at random with the Invisible Hand.
(Overpowered)(Improvement)(Mutation)(Convolution)(Suspicious)(Cascade) Capture Mission [item/target,target]: Choose a player to be an agent of the Warehouse. They are sent on a mission against a second player to capture up to two of that second player's items, to be returned to the Warehouse. If either player is holding an artefact, they will use it in the course of the mission. If anyone involved in a mission is killed that night (even if they recover or are protected), the players involved will learn that they were sent on a mission.
[Free](Improvement) Field Equipment [item, target]: Once per night you may give an item you are carrying to a player for free.
[Free](Overpowered)(Slow)(Flux)(Improvement)(Convoluted) Store [item]: Once per night you may store an item in your vaults, removing it from play. For every two artefacts you have stored, pick one of the following effects to gain at the start of the next phase:
Well Funded: every ability you have now or later gain (including items) will get the [Free] tag. This also effects your base ability to Give Items.
Secure: you will be immune to all item-stealing or item-exchanging abilities.
Accessible: You and you alone may treat Stored items as if they were carried (such as for Field Equipment, or if you want to use them yourself)
Highly Trained: You may use your [Free] night abilities twice per night instead of just once.
[one shot](Limitation)(Convolution)(Overpowered)(Improvement)(Blowback)(Mutation) Complicate Matters: Two newly generated artefacts appear randomly among two other players.
You are
Town. You win when all anti-town factions are dead.

The Lynch 2: Electric Boogaloo
Self-Confirmation > Limitation > Suspicious> Kill > Convolution > Daytime
Yo dawg, I heard you liked lynches so we put a lynch in your lynch so you can lynch while you lynch.
[Auto] (Self-Confirmation)(Convolution)(Suspicious)
Back Once Again For The Renegade Master: Any of your abilities that are one-shot will regain their shot if they were used to kill members of your own team. At the start of the next phase, the mod will post "

Fallacy
This Setup Is Not Mechanically Solvable, Sorry.
Improvement -> Slow -> Over-Powered -> Cascade -> Flux -> Meta
[Auto](Meta) Quantum Unobservability: While you are alive, abilities that were Accelerated or Duplicated revert to their original state when revealed (e.g. through detection or role-flips), making the duplication/acceleration undetectable.
(Mafiakill)(Improvement) Plant Weapon [target]: You improve your target, giving them a newly generated ability using their current spheres that they could conceivably have used, and then you kill the target.
(Flux)(Meta)(Slow)(Cascade)(Overpowered)(Improvement) Duplicate [sphere]: Pick a sphere. From the start of the next phase, each person who has an ability with that sphere will have one of their abilities with that sphere Duplicated. They will gain a second copy of that ability with [Free] and [One-Shot]. Every time this ability is used, it is transferred to a random player who had an ability Duplicated.
(Flux)(Meta)(Slow)(Cascade)(Overpowered)(Improvement) Accelerate [sphere]: Pick a sphere. From the start of the next phase, each person who has an ability with that sphere will have one of their non-Free abilities with that sphere Accelerated. That ability will gain the [Free] tag. Every time this ability is used, it is transferred to a random player who had an ability Accelerated.
For reasons unknown to you, you're also carrying:
[item] Purple Chaos Emerald: This is a purple chaos emerald and has no action attached.

Maximum Spin
Role: The game where the r[u/o]les are made up and the points don't matter.
(Flux)(Meta)(Mutation)(Cascade)(Overpowered)
New Sketch Idea [blue sphere]: Name a blue sphere. Everyone with that sphere has one of their abilities with it permanently mutated into a different ability based around a random blue sphere and the non-mutated spheres that ability had. This can transform actions in progress. This has no impact on [items]. The mafiakill is untargetable. If this ability successfully mutates, it is transformed into an ability which combines all the new spheres it had just created.
(Note: for example, if you mutated 'Protection' and two players had protections, their abilities would change into new spheres. Say, they became Thwart and Necromancy spheres, New Sketch would turn into an ability with the Thwart and Necromancy spheres, but not Flux, Meta, Mutation, Cascade or Overpowered)(Mafiakill)(Meta)(Mutation)(Flux) Improvise [blue sphere]: A random player with a non-item ability matching your chosen sphere will mafiakill themselves with that sphere.
(E.g. If you pick Improvement, a player with Improvement will die, and if any onlookers could see they would appear to have been killed by themselves with an Improvement ability. Their actual abilities won't trigger.)--

Chaos Emeralds
[Auto](Slow)(Cascade) Scattered Emeralds: At the start of the game, six random players have a chaos emerald. Chaos Emeralds come in seven colours (green, red, blue, yellow, purple, turquoise, white) and have no action attached. If anyone carries two emeralds of the same colour, one of those emeralds will be revealed as a fake and destroyed. Other players don't know the associated spheres of the emeralds, but you do:
EmeraldsGreen: Improvement - (Already collected at the start)
Red: Redirection
Blue: Setup Knowledge
Yellow: Action Detection
Purple: Necromancy
Turquoise: Votes
White: Protection
[Auto](Mutation) Collect Emerald [emerald color]: When you perform an action on a player (including "Give Item"), if that player has chaos emeralds at the end of the night, you will take a random emerald they own. At the start of the next phase, your Harness Emerald Power changes according to the latest emerald gained by any means.
(Improvement)(Cascade)(Flux) Harness Emerald [target]: Replenish your target's limited-shot abilities at the end of the night. Your target's next action on someone also replenishes all their targets limited-shot abilities at the end of the night. (A player will be informed of this if and only if they have abilities that require replenishing.)
[Free](Mafiakill) Wrong Hands: Tonight your Harness Emerald ability will also mafiakill its target(s).
[Auto](Overpowered)(Slow) Supersonic Form: If you carry 7 different Chaos Emeralds, you can use each previous version of Harness Emerald once per night (i.e. use Harness Emerald up to seven times with seven different effects).

Elephant Parade
I am Neighborhood Nightmare (Chat-Uncertainty-Meta-Convolution-Vulnerability-Cascade-Overpowered).
[auto](Meta)(Overpowered) Swap-Meet: While you are alive, everyone gains the ability to Trade. You start the game with three useful-sounding items to trade.
Trade: Declare in the thread in Bold, Purple text that you will trade [item name] for [item name]. After the day ends, but before the night begins, all valid trades will take place in a Trading Phase. A trade is valid if two players make matching purple bolded statements. If multiple players match, the last trade offers are picked. Players can only trade items they currently own before the Trading Phase, but any number of Trades may be made in a phase. Players will receive their new items at the start of the night (so hold off on submitting actions if you're expecting to receive an item). Players are privately informed of successful trades.
(Example: NQT declares he will
trade the Eiffel Tower for a Mouse and Tiruin declares she will
trade a Mouse for an Eiffel Tower during the trading phase, if NQT had an [item] Eiffel Tower and Tiruin had a [item]Mouse, the trade would be made.)
(Chat)(Cascade) Town Hall [target]: Invite your target to the Town Hall chat. The target gains this ability.

[Free](Convolution)(Meta)(Uncertainty)(Chat) Vibe Check [chat, sphere]: Pick a chat you are a part of and name a non-mafiakill sphere. At the end of the night, you will learn if anyone, other than yourself, in that chat OR anyone, other than yourself, who shares a chat with anyone you are in a chat with has that sphere.
(e.g. You pick 'Town Hall', 'Necromancy' and NQT and Tiruin are in your Town Hall, and NQT has a three abilities with the Necromancy sphere, and Tiruin is in a mafiachat with another player who has a Necromancy sphere [item], you will recieve the report: "Vibes: Yes")
