I would add Curse, Thwart, and Kill into the mix. Or perhaps Second Wincon in the mix. Taking all the reds plays into a role that inflicts negatives on others, often to Town's detriment. That said, let's not for this first CYOS. Hopefully there is a second.

Yes, alignment is assigned independent of what people submit. There are no alignment revealing aspects to spheres (e.g. the mafiakill will never appear as 'mafiakill' on an inspecters report). It would be possible for all members of the mafia to also have kill sphere abilities. Here are some examples:

(mafiakill)(limitation)(kill)(action detection) Backup Shooter: Track a player, learning their targets. If another teammate's mafiakill fails to kill, you will also kill your target.

(mafiakill) Vanilla Kill: You kill your target.

(kill)(vulnerability) Last Restort: Blow up. You kill anyone targeting you, as well as yourself.

The first (kill) could be inspected as a kill power. The second power could allow mafia to blow up several players in a night (at a steep cost), while an ally performs the regular kill. In general though, balance would tend towards mafia not normally killing more than one person a night.
