I do not like sofanthiel's vote on TricMagic because it doesn't do anything. It can't do anything because Tricmagic is unlynchable which is why I think we should focus our effort's elsewhere. That said, Tricmagic should answer that question.

Vote me.  Read my roleflip.  Then vote TricMagic Tomorrow.
I don't know if I trust that.  A town player forced to shield a scum player while being fully aware of it?  Sure, Max's only-vanilla-town-claims rule could interfere with how easily that situation would be dealt with under normal circumstances, but that still seems unrealistic.  Is there any way you can convince us that you aren't some kind of jester using Tric's predicament to get lynched?  How can you even win while dead, as mentioned below?
The downside to this is that it gives me a worse chance of winning than everyone else, but the alternative is that being alive gives me a really, really slim chance to win, and I don't wanna risk it.

And your reason for your vote on the unlynchable one?
I suspect we may not have complete information about our own roles or the core rules of this game.

I doubt that phrasing will be very effective at obtaining the information we seek.

Please help me see the deadline too.

Easy question first, this is what I'm basing it on:

I'm aiming for 48hr days and 24hr nights, not counting weekends, unless anyone strenuously objects - I'm not a fan of things dragging out too long.

An 48 day would mean it ends in.. about 30+ hours?

Lime green's my adding.
Day 1 has begun. You must choose one of your number for disposal. Should you fail to choose, God himself shall hold the sun in the sky until you decide.
Furthermore, TricMagic is ineligible to be lynched this day.

Think that God himself stuff is just flavor then?  Have you noticed anything else about the game, in any way, that would suggest a condition on day 1 end?  Think any other indicators are just fluff too?

Seems to be the current votecount, presuming Tricmagic cannot be eliminated D1 per

I don't see focus on preventing votes on web, can you help me see it as you do?
I mean, here is what just happened.

web: "please lynch me so you guys can lynch Tric next".
Tric: "look at Fallacy [quotes Fallacy wanting to lynch web], Fallacy must be scum!"
web: "we're not lynching Fallacy"
web: "I'm voting myself so we can lynch you, Tric"
Also Tric: "hey web if we don't lynch Fallacy who else could we possibly lynch??"

All this before Tric tries to find out anything about anyone.

Now, I see two logical reasons for why web would act this way.

Explanation 1: web is a jester.
Explanation 2: web is town and we need to lynch him and lynch Tricmagic next

There are multiple reasons why I think Explanation 2 is far more likely.
Number 1, jester is a stupid role and I don't believe it is Spin's flavor of madness.
Number 2, Tricmagic seems scummy as hell to me this game, concerned about self-preservation and not so much about digging up the truth.
Number 3, it would make total sense for a scum player to be protected from town lynching them. Especially if that protection requires town to lynch one of their own to break it.

In fact, I am voting webadict now to set an example. We shouldn't hammer, but I do believe we should take webadict at face value here.

Now about converting.
Note 1: I never said "cult", it could be mafia recruiter or whatever.
Note 2: at this point it is only a hypothesis and I don't want a long discussion about it to distract from the above.
This is something I think might be the case, since Spin was saying on Discord that Fallacy "was promised to start out as town, but could possibly convert to scum later".
In addition, it would explain to me why a scum player would get such a massive spotlight aimed at them as Tric did here. It gives them 1 guaranteed night action, but a normal mafiakill doesn't really compensate for being the obvious target. However, if that is 1 guaranteed player conversion, it would also create an interesting game balance. If we're forced to lynch 1 town, we would at best be left with 6 Town and 2 scum tomorrow.

So yes, I obviously think it matters who we lynch today.

If it makes you feel better, I believe this game has four possible setups, and only one of them is bad to vote me out, but the chances of that appear to be low.

I want to know what I'm allowed to not claim first, though, and I'm willing to explain my thoughts as long as people are okay with voting me out.  The downside to this is that it gives me a worse chance of winning than everyone else, but the alternative is that being alive gives me a really, really slim chance to win, and I don't wanna risk it.

I of course really care about your winning, especially if your winning is independent of others winning.... i.e. you're not some flavor of vanilla town.

Ignoring my feelings about wanting you to have your best chance to win in a way that isn't like everyone else's chance of winning, why should I want to vote you instead of trying to vote some scum if I think there's a chance to vote out scum?

Will there be roleflips?
I intend to follow the standard procedure, roleflips for people who stay dead.

Are we allowed to NOT claim roles that are NOT Vanilla Town?
You can disclaim anything you want, I suppose.

Also, Max, does everything you say have to be infallibly factual?  Could Tric, hypothetically, have a role that simply makes you state the following?
I don't have to do anything. But I'll try not to lie to you unless I really want to.
TricMagic is definitely ineligible to be lynched today, though.

You're not lying that Tricmagic is unlynchable today, right?
Wow, that's awfully trippy-looking. I don't think I like it.

The following votecount is officially endorsed, unless there's a mistake in it:

CrystalizedMire (1): Imp
EuchreJack (1): FallacyofUrist
FallacyofUrist (1): TricMagic
Imp (0):
notquitethere (0):
Quarque (0):
sofanthiel (2): notquitethere, CrystalizedMire
TricMagic (0): sofanthiel
webadict (2): webadict, Quarque

In the event of a tie, the player who has posted less will be lynched.

Quarque is pretty smart.  Mindmeld.

Also, I'd like to think I'd be a better Jester than this, but that's WIFOM.

@Imp:  You should vote me out because you cannot vote scum out currently.  Quarque literally explained it.  Gotta trust someone, bud, and if you think I'm Jester, waste your energy elsewhere looking for scum, idfc.  Personally, I will propose voting you out instead, but we have to vote out a Townie somewhere, and you might as well pick me because I apparently have information people don't.

In the event of a tie, the player who has posted less will be lynched.

Watches the day keep not ending.

I mean, we can lean on webadict.  The person wants out.  I don't think removing them is particularly useful for anyone but them, probably grave vengeance or something?  No idea, totally guessing here.  'screw you, losers', whatever, I have no idea, yucky vibes though.  That one got our game rushed and now is rushing out, whatajerk.

But the day cannot end just yet from what I've seen unless even more stuff changes, we don't have a hammer count to reach, and I'm about as confused as I can imagine being at this time.

We all need somebody to lean on!

Amyway, vote Tric Tomorrow.  Peace y'all.  Remember, my role has all the information you need.  Read it.  Learn it.  Love it.  Embrace it.
