Webadict always lies, blusters, and bluffs regardless of alignment, but there's a different agenda behind these misdirections when he's scum. When he claims, imagine "if this was false who does it benefit". Activity level is not a good indicator for Web as unlike many players he doesn't always slip into the background as scum.

Tric is scum if he doesn't do insane things.  Basically, if you're thinking to yourself that Tric is scum, he's probably not, and vice versa.  If you say to yourself "Why would anybody do X?"  that's the sign.
