Please spell it out for me, at least!  That way, I can try to disprove such a surprisingly sudden revelation to the best of my abilities, haha.

Wow, so this isn't exactly the most exciting start.

Before day's end, and with enough time for you to respond to, absolutely.  But I want to see others' answers/responses/thoughts before I reveal more of my own, particularly about this.

Wow, so this isn't exactly the most exciting start.

Please explain.  How is it not to your thinking?  What have you noticed and what do you believe?

I see what you're doing there... and I reckon this ought to turn out swell. ;D

Now then, Maximum Spin, what do you think about Imp's accusation?  Can you see the lines, so to speak, or are you just as puzzled as I was a few minutes ago?

So, to be clear, Imp is either claiming cop or, more likely, has totally misunderstood the game. The power we're all supposed to have is a track. It doesn't say who's town or not, it just says who the target acted on. Given that Tric clearly indicated that everyone would have the same power, so I'm guessing all the PMs are the same (except for alignment), and Tric clearly described how the track works... I'm at a loss for how this could happen.

Egan_BW: Would you trade even an egg for such wonder?

This is super odd.  I took Imp's word for granted because I assumed he had already read the role PM and had full knowledge of our common ability, but why in the world would Tric tune in to say that the thief's powers will be adjusted with the intent of avoiding the proposed exploit if it fundamentally can't work?

Imp: Lots of blah blah and game break, this voids the agreement we made to have fun. And we have tracks, not inspects, so the winning move for scum would be to just skip the kill and play along, resulting in an infinite stall which is MEGA-NOT-FUN.

Repent your unfun ways.

A tracking circle still "works" in the sense that it can still be game-breaking, but not in the same way, and Imp clearly is referring to the other one.

*makes a noise like a deflating balloon*

If the next thing we come up with after trying to solve the game mechanically on D1 is an everyone wins scenario, I am leaving, and I will take the shinies with me.

Hector: Here's what I've got. Clearly, Imp is either a clueless townie who doesn't know the difference between a track and an inspect, but we can clear him on the basis that he apparently THOUGHT that he could guarantee a townie win by bringing it up. OR he's evil scum who knows that plan wouldn't work but brought it up to deceive us. Which do you figure it is?

Mind chewing it up and spitting it out in a few brief sentences?

Confirming I am active lurking, and checking in at least once an hour.  I absolutely will discuss more 'soon', measured by what others say, I'm trying to listen for a few things.

I know you need more from me to evaluate.  It'll come and well before day end.  I am very aware of our time pressure, this 24 hour no-extend day.
