A Mischief of Birbs: Forgotten in the Night: Mafia Victory
« on: December 05, 2023, 08:29:17 am »

You are a bird. You like shiny things. Stealing shinies is fun. But someone is stealing all your shiniest.
Find out who. Is it the neighbor's bird, the human in the house, a cat sleeping on the windowsill? Shiny!

A short nonsensical game with 4-6 town and 1 mafia. The trick is everyone is a tracker, including the mafia. Days will be a short 24 hours, much like a certain bird's attention span. Hammers are in effect. Find the bird stealing all the shinies, or be left shinyless. (The Horror.) Please take stock of your own energy. Would not want this game to drain any desire to play Fal's. Just have fun with it, don't take it too seriously.

A Certain Magpie's Deduction List.

In because I have an urgent need to practice the idea that games like this can be fun and played in a less serious fashion (WHAT?  NO THEY CAN'T!!!!) so let's also make this game about re-teaching imp how to play in a playful way?  :D

Announcing my intention this 'playful' game, of considering using playstyles I might not normally consider.  Hang me if you must, but it's a null tell, surely, since we don't even have our roles yet!

As long as that playstyle isn’t “abrasive asshat” and is passingly helpful, you’ll be alright.

Right!  Mebby I try for abrasively helpful and passingly asshat...  maybe.  That's probably way out of my current range.

You've all started looking, flapping, and calling around to find out where your hinies gone. Some believe that it is a fellow birb who is responsible for this travesty of conduct. In any case, finding out who was responsible for the breach is your top priority, before they get away with your shinest!

Day 1 has begun. Hammers are in effect. Day 1 will end in 24 Hours.
Let the trackers loose in the treehouse.

All aflutter So shiny - so shiny!  I saw it for a moment.  Some TricMagic... and away it has gone.

Egan_BW: Would you trade even an egg for such wonder?

Maximum Spin, Hecter13, and Crystalizedmire, shall we form a flock and fly together?  High over town, looking far and down, watching other birds wander and frown?  Why or why not, try or try not?

sofanthiel: Your feathers change color.  Do you deal with that or keep seeking the shiny?
