If secretdorf is an SK then well played, but I think they're just frustrated town atm. They had the chance to secure the SK win for themselves with a quickhammer today and they didn't do it. I still don't understand how they're supposed to help, but might as well just leave them alone.

I don't trust the roleblock and Death mark to be powers a townie would have. And Lenglon seems town to me. I don't see why BHK would mark Lenglon. Besides I think most other players are town. BHK and Crystallized seem likely scum to me.

I think I should explain my oneshot. It isn't really a vengekill. It's a day ability. I die and a person that I choose is killed at the end of the day.

In other games, including the early FBYOR games, roles were designed, then randomized.  Not sure if that still happens.  But I personally wouldn't be surprised if any player's flavor could be part of any alignment.  We've had other players scoff at each other about treating them as scummy because of flavor too.

I asked Esteemed BlackHeartKabal about targeting Esteemed Lenglon too.

Here's what was answered:

Esteemed BlackHeartKabal:  Cool.  I really want you sharing everything you can and will, including why you picked Esteemed Lenglon, and what else you did or may have done while there.

If I die, I can one shot vengekill someone with the mark. To answer you and Imp, I'm marking people who I think would be suspects if there were less players, but who aren't liable to be lynched. I don't expect to survive to the end having fullclaimed, so my eventual exit from the game must take scum with me - my targeting behaviour has to be a bit speculative, accordingly. Secretdorf, for example, is likely to be lynched, so marking them would waste a night.

Why just mark someone you say you’re marking because you find them suspicious if you can also block them too?

I didn't block because I didn't feel that I would block much if Lenglon turned out to be scum, and if Lenglon is town and an investigator, if I choose to block them, I am blocking an investigator. Too little reward and too much risk to block and mark instead of just marking. I didn't mention this way of marking because I figured that I wouldn't get shot too early with the impression of relative inconsistency regarding my role, but now that's out of the bag, I need to contribute as much as I can.

That's what I can see of that person's reasoning for targeting Esteemed Lenglon.  How do you evaluate reasoning?
