Anyone willing to break the tie? I'd like to process the first cards today.

We need a Tea consumer next turn, though.

Design Phase 1
TURNTURNTURN

Two more combat-free turns. Pick your next two card designs.
Each player may submit up to one appeal, although without seeing the cards in action that seems a little premature.

I've made a version 2 of Mind-Link, as controlling our Deck is pretty critical.

Spoiler: Mind-Link (click to show/hide)

I agree on the Factory. And I think the Polluted Wasteland is a good way to control the board and limit Horde tactics.

More cards! We can never have too many proposals.
Quote
Name: Endless Bureaucracy
Cost: 1

Colours: Red/Black
Type: Sticky
Effects: You can Exhaust a target critter until the start of your next turn. Using this ability adds a rebellion counter to this card. This ability can be used any number of times in a turn.

If this card is destroyed or discarded it is returned to play under its owner's control

Rebellion Threshold [4]

Flavour Text: "No no no, you want the PIS215a form, not the PIS215b form. That's the form for applying for the recognition of form submission form, that's the form you'll need. You'll only be waiting for about 2-14 months for a possible response"
Rarity: Common

Edit: changed the effects a little. I realised the rebellion token cost was probably enough and the rad cost might have been a bit extreme.

It is becoming more and more clear that there is no way to steer things away from Tea...
So here you go I guess.

Quote
NAME*: Cambion Consort
COST: 3 Rads
IMAGE*:
COLOUR*: Red and White
TYPE-SUBTYPE: Critter
EFFECT: All cards currently in play gain a rebellion threshold equal to their Rad Cost +2 if they do not already have one and the effect "Your opponent may put a Rebellion Token on this card by paying 1 Tea".
This card always has a Rebellion Threshold equal to how much Tea its current player has.
FLAVOUR TEXT: When morality comes up against profit, it is seldom that profit loses.
STRENGTH-VITALITY: 20s-70v
RARITY: Rare

And this one is dark even for me!

Quote
NAME*: Relaxed Labour Standards
COST: 0
IMAGE*:
COLOUR*: Red
TYPE-SUBTYPE: Trick
EFFECT: Put 5 Child Labourer tokens into play under your control.
FLAVOUR TEXT: Democracy is supposed to be ‘of the people, by the people and for the people’. Capitalism is ‘of the capitalist, for the capitalist’. Period.
STRENGTH-VITALITY: N/A
RARITY: Common

Spoiler: token 1 (click to show/hide)

Can't say I'm that enthusiastic about the Red color. I didn't feel like arguing against it would get us anywhere, though.

Quote
Name: The Blood Engine
Cost: 5 Rads
Image:
Color: Red / Yellow
Type: Sticky - Locomotive
Effect:
At the end of each of your turns, you may destroy up to 3 of your Critters and place that many Blood Counters on this Sticky. If there are ever 10 or more Blood Counters on this Sticky, you win the game.
When this Sticky would be destroyed while there are 3 or more Blood Counters on it, remove 3 Blood Counters from it instead. If this Sticky is destroyed, you lose the game.
Flavor text: In the end, people are just meat, and meat can serve as well as coal, with the right engine.
Strength-vitality: N/A
Rarity: Unique

I wasn't all that keen on red either. But now that we have invested in red, it makes little sense to stop going red now.

Card
Uncommon isn't actually a rarity. There's Common, at 6 per deck, Rare, at 3 per deck, and Unique, at 1 per deck.

I wasn't all that keen on red either. But now that we have invested in red, it makes little sense to stop going red now.
I'd happily put up non-red proposals if I thought anyone would vote for them.

To an extent, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I wonder if the other team is as red-obsessed as some of us.  :-\

Quote
Name: Redcoat Regiment
Cost: 1 Rad

Color: Red
Type: Critter - Soldier
Effect:
At the beginning of your turn you may spend 1 tea, if you do not - add a rebellion counter on this card.
Rebellion Threshold 3
Strength-vitality: 50 - 50
Rarity: Common
Flavor text: We's got to have our creature comforts

mini factory:
Quote
Name: Whaling Ship

Type: Critter
Effect:
At the beginning of your turn you may spend 1 tea to gain 1 rad, if you do not - add a rebellion counter on this card.
Rebellion Threshold 3
Naval
Strength-vitality: 0 - 10
Rarity: Common
Flavor text: Soon may the Wellerman come...

Quote
Name: Battleship
Cost: 4
Image:
Color: Black
Type: Critter
Effect:
Naval
Instead of attacking you may deal 20 damage directly to a critter or player
Strength-vitality: 80 - 70
Rarity: Unique
Flavor text: force projection at its finest

Quote from: Naval
Naval critters may only attack and be attacked by other critters with Naval

Edit: renamed Battleship, since it's not red.

I know for sure that Stirk is white obsessed; one look at any previous CYOGTCG game will make that plainly obvious. I'm pretty sure that TricMagic is not Red Obsessed either due to similar logic. I predict magical girls to be the most likely enemy we will face.

Do we want to risk it and design a card that specifically does extra damage vs Waifu/Magical Girl sub-types?

Edit: I thought it might be worth creating a Sticky-Destroyer, so we can wreck their Rad creation.

Quote
Name: Called Shooting
Cost: 0?
Image: TBC
Colour: Pink
Type: Trick
Effect: Each time You or a Critter you control deals damage this turn, instead of reducing Vitality, you may Destroy a target Sticky with Rad Cost no greater than Damage/10
Flavour: Everyone is gangsta until you shoot the gun out of their hand
Rarity: Common
