Context: version 0.50.11, i have a hunting based fort, no water, the only source of drinks is trade or beekeeping.

By the second year i realize beekeeping industry is not working after doing some research i get to found up to 100 units of honey bee royal jelly in jugs.
I have tried to dump it with no results.

Tried to use it in cooking but seems like as long there is another option available honey bee royal jelly will not be used.

Only solution i found so far is store a single ingredient in a stockpile have another stockpile with the jelly and link those 2 to the kitchen, but since there is not a way to get those single ingredients come out of their barrels i am stuck there.

Any idea how to get my jugs back?

Can't you just make new jugs (have sand?), and dispose of the old in atom smasher? Masterwork should be sold, of course.

Also, make only lavish food. I don't have bees in my v50 maps, but my dwarves take milk, oil and alcohol as ingredients quite often. I produce meat stuff all the time, which serves as a solid ingredient, but it seems they still occasionally take liquids even if stockpiles are full of meat.

Oh, it seems the old trick with caravans still works. I thought it was fixed, along with other trade exploits.

So the way to get rid of liquids in containers is to forbid the liquid, but not the container, then order the container, like jug, to the trade depot. Dwarves will pick up the emptied jug, and leave the pool of liquid on the floor. It will be then cleaned after some time. Jug can be sold, or simply unassigned from trade, then it will be moved to appropriate stockpile.
