The Astral Kingmaker felt annoyance. While it had determined to let the Sandfolk settle their own fate, it had wanted to witness such an event on equal footing. This was a sham, an affront to the saga that it had weaved for countless years since it's arrival. The intervention of the Dragon Star, the betrayal while it's chosen side was weakened beyond any chance of fulfilling struggle, the slaughter of it's project of countless years. This tale was not over, but it knew that it's adopted children had lost for now, no matter how disappoint the methods employed by the Laserites.
Instead the Arcane God-King set to work on creating it's third project-child since arriving in this entertaining confinement. Omnipotence's kingdom would go down as the winners in the war in Esulom, but Esulom itself would be The Kingmakers enduring legacy. This, the Crown felt, was only fair for the unsporting behavior of it's fellow God-King's pawns in their unfinished Saga-Game.
Major Intervention/Vessel Switch:
And so the Kingmaker gathered the worship-power of all those generations who had communed with it since it's arrival, the fleeting embers of their mana, the faded remembrance of their minds. It then poured this overwhelming divine power into the land of Esulom itself! To flood the once dormant mana flows of this land, and activate them! For the mana and divine power to flow into the central deserts of the land, as a great wailing heart-convergence of arcane power! To once again upwell into the Deserts of Esulom, empowering and awakening them! It knew it's work would be done when it would hear thousands of astral voices, those Sandborn whose mana had now returned to Esulom, beckoning and reaching for the Great Arcane One, wishing to embrace and be one with it's infinite mana and crowned as 'Esulom the Endless Desert of Mana'
Minor Blessing:
The Astral King Maker removes it's blessing on the patches of Desert, for a greater change was upon it
The Kingmaker felt no ill will towards it's Kin, Omnipotence. It had been more than prepared to submit to vassalage if it had lost the Saga-Game fairly, as long as it's kin wouldn't stop it's Projects. However, it's consumption of the game of Glory-Suffering, of Birth-Death, of Rising-Falling, had been ruined by the Interloper and then the treachery of the Laserites, even having the audacity to destroy countless years of it's work. While it would not squabble with it's Kin directly, someone must pay the price of this debt, and it would be those who incurred it.
Minor Curse:
The Astral Kingmaker curses those who directly acted in the genocide of it's first project-children, only sparing those truly innocent. May the Fungal Disease, that for which they had so senseless ruined the Arcane King's labor, find them, inflicting the tortures they had caused upon the Sandborn as they change and deform in agony, and proliferate it's spread amongst those targeted by it's cursed.
