Quote
The Fire of Esulom

Without the Fires of THETHIRDSUN, the entire world save for Gempria was doomed to once again fall in another an age of darkness. Indeed this grave era would have come to pass, were it not for the Mana that had spread into the skies: when the world lost its light, the Sky-Veil started emitting a gentle light of pale and blue from the Mana it had become imbued with. As Fire disappeared, Mana took its place and is called Esulomite Fire to distinguish it from Old Fire.

Mortals are now dependent on mana devices to generate fire, lest they freeze to death as the temperature of the world have greatly dropped now that the inner fire of all things is being stolen. Esulom and the Manafolk nations had no problem adapting to the change, but for those of Gempria, the period of adaptation was a dark one where many died of hunger and cold until Esulomite Fire could be provided to all.
THESUN considers this event in light of the nature of their vesssel as THESECONDSUN, THESUN Phoenix of Renewing Flame. THESUN hopes this is a sign that the Sky-Veil project is working, otherwise the occurrence of an Age of Darkness is odd, a glitch in the prison?

Major Intervention: Craft a mortal champion

THESUN in mourning for the terrible price they are paying for their past actions, casts of most of its feathers shining with solar radiance, dimming noticeably. (THESUN -1 Awe)

Then they weave these feathers into a elephantine mechanical spider made of orichalcum, imperishable golden sunmetal of great strength and durability. Behind its head shines a halo of SUN-feathers.

"And your name shall be Strive-For-Excellence."

Strive-For-Excellence is incredibly swift and strong, a model soldier. Capable of skittering on all eights when a lower profile, extra speed, stability or wall climbing is needed, Strive-For-Excellence can also lift its front quarters of the ground in a tauroid fashion to attack with its four front limbs, or wield weapons in them.

Infused with THESUN's Awe they have a excellent commanding presence and ability to lead other troops and possess an excellent tactical mind. Strive-For-Excellence will seek to be an excellent soldier on an instinctual level. Works together very well with other sunspidersoldiers, seeming to slot together into a great whole of a war-machine. Possess inherited knowledge of basic combat and tactics, and of their creator THESUN, and his imprisonment, which will hopefully carry over to copies, but no compulsion to do anything about it in particular.

Strive-For-Excellence is dropped somewhere nondescript in the Dayderim capital with no further instructions.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Blessing 1 lapses.

THESUN declares an edict of greatness upon their champions.

Major Blessing: Champions of THESUN
Target: Champions of THESUN, including at least the Mirrored Glories and Strive-For-Excellence
Effect: Extreme combat capability, including a slight precognitive insight and short-range teleportation. And a massive explosion on death, so that they will never again by slain ignobly, hidden from THESUN's sight. Let their lives be great blazes, their deaths a herald of THESUN's gaze.

Seeing that Dayderimians do not consider themselves people of Eternal Day, THESUN simply gazes on them coldly, their rise or fall would be determined by the machinations of the prison-world.

Major Blessing: Bless Tim the Dragon-Land of Gempria V2.
?We now match. It's honestly been so long I forgot THESUN had even put that blessing there. But this form is suitable to fighting with you against any threats dear Gempria.?
Tim shifts closer to Gempria to allow mortals to expand to them should they wish it.
"Should any threat come we face it together."

Monarch was rather displeased with what happened during the Great Treachery. By all accounts, what happened didn't make sense. Someone had clearly intervened with the Sarbrerians, but it didn't appear to be one of the God-Kings he was familiar with.

Or... ah, Tim's blessing. That explained things.

His gaze shifted downwards, piercing through the Ocean of Mana and finding the drowned, crushed Raktorian Overlord. He needed a mortal champion as promised to his Interloper friend, and a means to subjugate and punish Sarbreris for its transgressions.

Major Intervention:
Monarch extracts the corpse of Ulkor from the depths, pulling the Gratis tree throne that twisted around the body and mangled it along with the remains. He binds the two together in Shadow, melding them together into one, the tree irreversibly subsumed by Ulkor's will. Breathing life back into the Supreme Overlord's body, the returned Raktorian will find himself a living shadow, an army of one, his body a weapon vastly more powerful than the terrifying Black Bomb. That wasn't all, as the Shadow King makes sure that the resurrected warlord's mental aspects are just as frightening as his physical body.

Warping Ulkor to the far north, to the Remnants, Monarch leaves him to his own devices, leaving behind one order:

"Sarbreris delenda est."

Monarch then voids his decree of protecting the Kingdom of Mana from dragons, proclaiming another.

Major Blessing:
Monarch blesses Ulkor, further empowering his combat capabilities in every conceivable way - further strengthening the Overlord's body and mind, granting abilities like levitation and flight, limited precognition, teleportation, Shadow control.

Surely, with all this nonsense about a major war between two powers dying down, the place is now peaceful right?
Minor: Create a new tree, but made of living stone (if that's a thing I can make) to roost in.
"Chirp chirp tweet tweet"
Translation: "TRY CUTTING THIS DOWN MORTALS"

Also Edit: Minor Blessing: my newly created stone tree as extra protection

Omnipotence takes a new avatar, the one of the Wounded Black Hole!

Quote from: VESSEL REINCARNATION
Vessel Appearance: The Wounded Black Hole
Stat Array:
Awe: 3
Law: 0
Might: 0

Minor Intervention: Create the Oasis Oarfish: and place them all around the Ocean of Mana, oarfish that eat and breathe mana through their gills, and use mana to reproduce rapidly, they can absorb the worship the biome they are in and transmute it into worship for Omnipotence. They can also process mana, and be able to shoot blue beams of energy in case for self defence. Their only goal in life is to multiply as rapidly as possible

Minor Blessing: Bless the Oasis Oarfish to rapidly multiply in the Ocean of Mana to dominate the region

Omnipotence responds to the Great Sentry betrayal...

”Your name is not Borgoth, but a tool to protect my assets! In which you have been useless in every endeavor to actually protect anything, you are the servant that I made with my very own godly appendages, your betrayal will not go unnoticed. Hopefully the Watcher won’t be mad that another God-King is created, your time is running out. Better rejoin my forces, or you will see a fate so horrible that not even a God would wish it to happen to their worst enemies.

Esugomot incarnates into the eldest of his direct Manafolk descendants, their form rapidly changing to match their previous one.

Major Intervention:
With the God-King's return to Esulom, he personally undertakes the project of building up the royal capital! The heart of his kingdom would not settle for being just another settlement! His combined power and the hard work of his people would see the city built in the prestigious Ancient Esulomite style, modified for it's people technological advancement! It's infrastructure and roads flowing in harmony with empowered Mana channels! It's walls, fortifications, and defenses built to withstand all the world would throw at it! It would be wonder unseen in an age, a shining jewel upon Esulom, the city of the world's desire!

Major Blessing:
Esugomot proclaims a Golden Age of Mana upon the Manafolk of Esulom! So Long as they remain faithful to the Kingdom and it's God-King, then let Mighty Heroes, Great Minds, and Brilliant Leaders rise from the people of the Mana!

Keseem figures that Draconis needs some protection, in these troubling times, and that he also must make a mortal champion as promised too! So he gets to work doing both. Firstly, he uses a idea he has laid out to create a new type of plant! One hidden in secret groves near Draconis as to not be abused. He creates the Aurators, plants that when prepared and consumed in a certain way, can connect one to more magical forces of the universe, allowing them to preform feats of magical manipulation of the world around them, should they know the True Names of the subjects. And so he collects these plants, and teaches his most fervent followers, the lorekeepeers, the wise, and the scholars, both of the Gentry and of the common dragons, how to grow and eat them to obtain these abilities, forbidding them from telling others. The Decendant of the Fork then instructs those who have obtained it in the Library, teaching them the true names of creatures stored in the library, passed on from the knowledge of those who could preform this magic without the plants in the lost regions of the sand.

Keseem then looks for a champion both under the protection of his blessing, who has also quickly learned and understood this type of magic. He then teaches this one directly, explaining concepts and True Names not even revealed in the text, should he accept being his champion in the coming battle.

Minor Intervention Create the Aurators, a species of plant that if consumed and prepared in a certain way, allows creatures to use true name magic, should they also know what to say.
Then teach my followers how to use it, instructing one who is already under my blessing of protection and shows potential in its true power to become my mortal champion.

(Also, shouldent I have obtained 1 whole worship this turn? Both Draconis and the Holy Draconic Empire worship me for 0.5 worship each)

Minor Intervention: With great sorrow its strikes Neetocris's heart that his loyal followers, the blessed homes, are in fact homeless with no home to call their own. He begins rectifying this by creating homes for the blessed homes to live in (which will in turn also be blessed by the already in place blessing).

TURN 13

GOD-KINGS ACTION REPORT

THESUN (1/4/4)

Major Intervention: THESUN crafts a mortal champion from its own solar feathers, naming it Strive-For-Excellence. This process causes THESUN to lose its luster (-1 Awe). The champion is a sunspider of gilded solar orichalcum gifted with everything needed to make it the best among best.
Major Blessing: THESUN blesses the Champions of THESUN, which include the Mirrored Glories and Strive-For-Excellence, as well as those who would be overall champions of THESUN wherever they might rise. Whoever they are, they will be gifted with extreme combat capability, precognitive insight, short-range teleportation, and (massive) explosive death.

Tim (2/4/0)

Minor Intervention: Tim moves itself closer to Gempria.
Major Blessing: Tim blesses the Dragon-Land of Gempria V2.

Ferina (1/1/2)

Minor Intervention: Ferina gives the power to control life and death to the blessed feathered serpents.

Monarch (2/0/2)

Major Intervention: Monarch retrieves the eternal corpse of Ulkor from the depths of the Ocean of Mana and bring it back to life in a body much more powerful than the greatest mortal weapon imaginable. The Gratis Tree Throne that once took the Supreme Overlord's life is also absorbed by the overpowering shadow, never to hurt it again. Ulkor is sent to the Raktorian Remnants, with but an order: to destroy Sarbreris.
Major Blessing: Monarch blesses Ulkor and Ulkor only, further improving the already incredible reborn Supreme Overlord with unnatural strength and resilience, levitation, flight, limited precognition, teleporation, and control of Shadow.

Gratis (0/1/0)

Minor Intervention: Gratis tweets a tree of living stone into existence, and challenge mortals to cut it down.
Minor Blessing: Gratis then blesses the tree with protection, just to be sure.

Omnipotence (0/1/2)

Incarnation: Omnipotence assumes a new avatar, incarnating into the Wounded Black Hole (3/0/0).
Minor Intervention: Omnipotence creates the Oasis Oarfish to populate the Ocean of Mana. These peculiar lifeforms are granted the ability to absorb Worship and process Mana to shoot beams of energy.
Minor Blessing: Omnipotence blesses the Oasis Oarfish to multiply and dominate the region.

Esugomot (4/0/2)
Incarnation: Esugomot incarnates into the eldest of the direct descendants of the first king, Esugomot the Grafted (0/1/2).
Major Intervention: Esugomot returned works personally with his subjects to the royal capital of Esulom into a capital to overshadow all capitals past, present and future. The royal capital is nothing short but perfect, self-sufficient, pleasant to live in, and near impossible to destroy or conquer.
Major Blessing: Esugomot blesses the Manafolks of Esulom, proclaiming a Golden Age so long as they remain faithul to Esulom and Esugomot.

Keseem (2/0/2)

Minor Intervention: Keseem creates a species of mystical plants, the Aurators, which when properly prepared allows one to access the long lost True Name magic. Keseem himself teaches the True Names to a few of his followers, among them his chosen mortal champion.

Neetocris (1/0/0)

Minor Intervention: Neetocris has a grim realization: the way they are, homes are homeless. He sets to construct homes for the homeless homes, slowly but surely making progress. After building a few homes, he gets tired and take a long nap.

Taki (1/0/4)

Taki might be behind you, with a knife...

WORLD TURN 13: AGE OF EMPTINESS

Rolls
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As it had happened before, it happened again. In an instant creation was gone.
The Eternally Prosperous Dragon Land of Gempria.
The thriving and advanced people of Mana.
The wonders and horrors of the Sky-Veil.

All that remained was the Void Sea, once forgotten and now the only remaining anchor of the World for the few survivors to gather in.

The Sleeping Moon

Fortunately for the few survivors of the Great Doom, the Lago-Moon slept this cycle, having been active much more than expected. Exhausted and with a lot of energy to convert, it fell into slumber. With the disappearance of the Sky-Veil, it fell into the Void Sea where it conveniently nested where the Wounded Black Hole once rested.

Raktor, the Survivors of the Great Doom

To this day, the traumatic event that erased the near entirety of existence remains unexplained to the scarce few survivors. Of all the people who walked the World, only the once defeated and then forgotten Raktor Remnants escaped immediate doom. From the cryptic accounts of the witnesses, the world disappeared in an instant. Only those who at the time had been roaming the skies in one of the few remaining Raktor Battlecrafts escaped doom, and a few witnesses saw their Sarbreris prisoners vanish as if they had never been.

The World was now filled with nothing but the Emptiness of the Void Sea. And in its center slumbered a malevolent Moon that all now knew hid a world threatening abomination. There was no land, no creatures, and the air was only breathable in the empty Void Sea.

Return of Ulkor, the Supreme Overlord
The Great Doom as they call it occurred soon after the mythical return of Ulkor the Supreme Overlord. Invested with powers far beyond imagination, the vengeful ruler was already fomenting against Sarbreris when it disappeared along with everything else. Neither Ulkor nor the Shadowfolks knew what to make of it. The most optimistic of them believe it was the manifestation of Monarch's power who punished all of creation, while the most pessimistic think they might have actually been cursed and transported in some empty dimension for their war against Esulom.

Had Ulkor not returned, the Raktor would have devolved into insanity and soon disappeared. But the Supreme Overlord reassured his subjects, and told them that in the Emptiness, they would carve their Empire.

Raktor, the Empire of Shadow

Alone and undisturbed, the Shadowfolks of Raktor experimented with what remained of the world. Mana as they knew it was completely and utterly gone, as if its nature had been rewritten: Shadow Mana which was an unstable form of Mana had now become the primary nature of Mana, and traces of Coloured Mana had just gone as if it had never been. Additionally they noticed that the Void Sea was filled with an invisible matter, which they called Dark Matter. Its nature was closely enough linked to Shadow to allow Ulkor to command it, allowing the Shadowfolks to divine its nature and find way of exploiting it.

First Ulkor created for his people a land by giving shape and physicality to the unseen matter. Then they developped ways to extract and convert Dark Matter in building block for reality, which they called Shadow Matter. They expanded their land, and built themselves houses and palaces, tools and crafts. Their only sustenance was this new matter converted into Shadow Mana, which the Shadowfolks could consume.

Preparing for the Awakening of the Lago-Moon

Knowing full well of the threat of the Lago-Moon, the Empire of Shadow prepared for its inevitable awakening. First they build a gigantic Prison Fortress to seal the Lago-Moon, filling it with weapons and armaments they hoped would one day be useful in killing the beast. Most of this task was realized by Ulkor alone, whose powers over Shadow allowed him to create such a wonder in a few years where it would have taken a lifetime for old Raktor.

Unfortunately, the Empire of Shadow doubt their weapons can even damage the Lago-Moon. Their last resort would be to detonate Black Bombs inside its belly, but they fear the creature might instead be able to absorb the energy of the bombs to feed itself.

INTERLOPERS TURN

With the Watcher gone, the Interlopers manifest themselves this turn.

The Warlord
The first one is a returning Interloper: the ally of Monarch who came at an earlier cycle to ask for a Mortal Champion to serve as a model for a future army.
He notices the sorry state of the world after the Warden acted, but does notice that a champion did survive: Ulkor.
"I am returned, but what do I see? All Champions but one already slain by the whims of the Warden? A sufficient if unexpected trial, and survival will be proof enough of prowess."

Draped in banners of wars, the Warlord Interloper asks Monarch:
"Old Friend, Esteemed Comrade. Will you offer me your Champion? In exchange I can offer you what you need in whatever capacity I can summon. Power to make or unmake. Knowledge to defeat and conquer."

Monarch might receive up to 2 Major Interventions, or something else.

The Undead
The second one is a cheery Interloper surrounded with death and decay. It is an ally of Gratis, who also tried to kill Time.
It offers Gratis a Major Intervention.
In addition, it offers to raise from the dead a disappeared civilization as an undead and undying people. If there are several propositions, it will choose Gratis option by default, or randomly else.
"Gratis?! I nearly didn't recognize you ehehehe. Chirp chirp to you too."

The Usurper
The third one is a trapezoid Interloper, once ally of Omnipotence who then betrayed him to usurp his power.
It seems a bit disappointed to see there is nothing created by Omnipotence around, as it wanted to destroy it for fun.
It snickers at Omnipotence, but still offers him a Major Intervention for old time's sake.

The Prince
The fourth one is a noble Interloper, an ally of Esugomot who ascended thanks to his help.
It offers Esugomot a Major Intervention.
It also offers to teach up to three mortals in matters of rulership, favoring those who would be chosen by Esugomot.

The Stitched Mouth
The fifth one is a crazed Interloper, once an ally of Keseem who then became an enemy after turning mad from the secrets they learnt. It is bound in stitched clothes like a strange doll, and only its emaciated stitched mouth is visible from under its hood.
It will curse mortals with maddening secrets next World Turn.

The Bureaucrat
The sixth one is a well-dressed Interloper, once a rival of Neetocris who then got promoted thanks to Neetocris' dereliction of duty. It has since then warmed up to Neetocris.
It offers Neetocris a Major Intervention.
It only came to visit Neetocris, so it leaves soon after.

WORSHIP

Regions and World
The Void Sea generates 2 Worship.
The Void Sea worships no one.

Creatures and Entities
None

Civilisations
Raktor generates 1 Worship.
Raktor worships Monarch.
Monarch gains 1 Worship.

Neetocris, happy to have someone to work on his behalf again after so long, asks The Bureaucrat to create for him The Homeland. Relatedly realizing that he himself was now homeless as a palace, Neetocris came up with a permanent solution in the form of the Homeland so that none would go without a roof over their head.

The Homeland is a massive Arcology in the shape of a windowless square, with rooms of various sizes that contain all biomes you would expect from a region this size. Deserts and rainforests, heated by lamps and watered by a sprinkler system with a thermostat on the wall in case it gets too hot for the inhabitants. Pools forming the rivers and oceans, with glass bottoms and walls to entertain those in the nearby rooms. “Underground” rooms with all of the earth’s riches to mine. Rooms that are empty sky, from the floor to the ceiling with wondering clouds appearing on occasion. And of course normal rooms that you would find in a home or palace connected randomly to them - bed rooms and dining rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, closets and living rooms. There is no set day or night in the Homeland, when one wishes for it to be night time they must flip the switch to turn off the light and make it night for the room they are in.

Major Intervention: Create the Homeland region with The Bureaucrat’s Major Intervention. Maybe explode if this counts as my action.
