"Attention! The goblin escaped! We have new details on their sinister handiwork!"

It appears that the goblin was in C2 all along, laying down booby traps! Whether this was in preparation for a full on hoard invasion, or just the scheming of an individual is still not known at this time.

You can help clear the booby traps.

When 5 different guild members assist with this task, the traps will be cleared. Nothing can be built on C2 until this chore is complete!

Updated Registration

Open the Guild Members doc run by the Idle Guild, and complete the following:

1. First & Last Name
2. Font Color (Choose an unused one. Here is a color list for help.)
3. Direction of Origin (North, south, east, or west.)
4. Former Residence (See 'Distant Places' or add your own.)
5. Race (See the known races in the same spoiler, or add your own.)
6. Adventurer Class (Rogue, ranger, warrior, mage, cleric, or bard.)
7. Give yourself 100 starting gold and 1 sentimental item.

Then introduce yourself in this thread and describe your appearance.

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

Guild Digest: Issue 4

-Alchemy Guild has surveyed the north and is now able to help identify any northern plants people bring back. Proper surveys of the plant life in other documented areas will take a bit.

-Cartography Guild is trying out a new activity called Patrol. A hot and cold treasure hunt. Ripclaw lead the first ever town patrol. While the goblin got away, their sinister plans where thwarted. The booby traps were disarmed by Taarka and Bimson, and the crafty hands of Rogue Bruv and Ranger Aywen.

-Smithing Guild, aside from growing to include 3 members, seems to have got their first non-internal customer.

-Market Guild is getting little activity but recently leader Taarka allowed travelers to trade with the merchants. The travelers will offer coins and items to trade with merchants, allowing Keyforged to procure items that are not currently accessible in any other way.

-Adventure Guild leader Bruv found 100 coins in a chest from the Southern Swamps. Those coins had already been distributed to the adventurers and Bruv put his share to the Adventurer's Guild funds. Guild Hall helped getting an idea of what material it is and how much they are worth. Each traveler now starts with 100 gold. Also, the guild explored the abandoned tower and had to abscond early because Elliot was injured. We have great need of a cleric to heal adventurers both in and outside of dungeons. We also added a multiclassing mechanic, parties of larger than 3, and we are talking about how to defend the outpost.

-Idle Guild now proudly has 3 non-member participants on the Guild Members community log. This makes them the first to clear all challenges of the first community milestone. Also, the Weekly Idling Scores have been posted. Blacktooth Ripclaw leads with 281.

Guild Points
All guilds that reported in receive 1GP.
All that did not lose 1GP.
Guilds that didn't report in are now inactive.
Guilds with 0GP will be listed as discontinued.
All guilds that were previously listed as active before this issue receive 3GP.

If you didn't choose a direction when joining, you will be marked down as 'central' meaning you are from Keyforged, or very close by. If you did not choose a race, you will be a human.

"Congrats everyone on 5 weeks. They said an outpost wouldn't work on the crossroads, but we still stand. They warned us. Of the volatility of mixing species, of the inherent dangers of being so close to all four of the estranged lands. From humble beginnings, literally a smattering of tents, to nearing the end of the road to settlementship, it has been my honor to be your outpost commander. And I will continue to serve. As we achieve a more developed community, we will slowly transition away from my directives, to those of elected officials. With more control over our shared goals being theirs, rather than mine. And if I may be so bold to imagine this one day becomes a kingdom, well there won't be anything left for me to do. A convention I'd like to start is that persons in a leadership role take on a Roman numeral after their name while serving, for each term. And that a person must wait 2 terms served by others before they can again. I look forward to the day we are ready to elect our first mayor, can we make it? Just a few more tasks to become a settlement. We are so close. Suspicious sightings, potion trading, and more expeditions. Straight from the guilds, here is the newest Guild Digest."

We know what will happen if left to it's own devices, but who knows what will happen if it manage to sabotage one of the guilds!

The frugal ravenwoman begins checking around the outpost, coming closer and closer to some sounds coming from east of the Alchemy Guild, picking up a trail of gold along the way...

The goblin!

The feathery bard bonks the spiteful greenskin on its' little bald head, and it is taken the the cartography watchtower dungeon for questioning. Ripclaw hands a pouch of coins with dried blood on them to the market guildmaster...
