The elven mage gasps. “Gro-mash? What-how?”
You did some work on his former comrade. Two enchanted nails were hammered into him, one in the base of his neck and the other through his heart. These nails drive him into a near constant state of rage. In addition they grant him increased physical prowess and strength. However they are vastly inefficient, burning through one’s life force to activate. The orc’s checks are sunken and hollow, and his eyes are feverish.

Gro-mash leaps forward. The mage doesn’t have time to get a spell off before the orc is on him. A punch to the elf’s face shatters his skull and sends him sprawling against the wall, where the orc leaps upon him and tears out his throat with his teeth. The orcs iron nails glow as they absorb the mage’s life force.

Well, that was anti-climatic.
Still, you did your job and the tomb is now secure. You guess you should probably put your Rage vampire in a tomb, or maybe just kill him. But would you really be doing your job if you didn’t investigate where the intruders came from? You could also make some investments in this places defenses. Sure, that’s going above and beyond your duty, but what if the next attack is stronger? You have to decide.
What do you do?
A.Repair the damages and go back to sleep. Keeps essentially the same gameplay loop of defending from intruders, as your spirit grows stronger.
B. Well maybe you should take a more active role… Will add a phase where you can invest your points, design rooms, unlock the true potential of your items of power, summon creatures, and send your minions on raids.
