As The Hermit King materializes he looks around confused. Wasn't he leading a battle earlier? Suddenly realization dawns on him he must of been having a meeting with the other kings and dozed off! Mildly embarrassed he now seeks to respectfully remove himself from the conversations "Aye aye i concur with... whatev'r thee all hath said! v'ry fruitful meeting i might not but beest going anon backeth to mine own kingdom busy w'rk thee knoweth how t is!"

Head off toward my kingdom and back to my castle... it uh should be somewhere around here right?... Oh drat I forgot where my castle is! Quick my personal servant find my castle for me! (Spend 15 acts creating Tater Scamp!, an explorer hero resembling less like a person and more like a giant sock puppet it wears a crafted suit of totally viable solid gold plate with silly googly eyes and a sticking out woolen tongue. Simple minded yet obedient perfect for the task to explore a dark region!)

Just posting this to reassure you that we are all still interested in the game and looking forward to today's update. (Except the two people who didn't post their action I guess)

[update somewhat delayed by IRL, furthermore note that missing players will be removed after 2 missed turns]

TLDR: RL has drained motivation to work at this, I've got most of the numbers and notes, and just need to put things together for an actual post- but a writer by nature I am not. Game dead for now, may receive updates when my motivation is back.

So... I don't suppose anyone else is inclined to make a similar game?

Usually I'd insist on adding a gimmick of some kind, I GUESS I could try a generic one, as an experiment.

Run Gridhood instead. Maybe one of those games can live. (Not mine, I know you will make that comment Supernerd. You just drain any motivation to restart with those comments.)

I don't think so, no. This idea looks like it might be able to stand on its own merit though.
