Options to deny dwarves from a previous fortress to a new one
« on: August 07, 2023, 02:57:55 am »

There should be an option to deny the dwarves I nurtured into starved, psychotic, problems-of-the-state that were in my previous fortress into my new fortress. The reason being is that I want new dwarves to mismanage, and I don't want my past babies's skills to go to waste. I have seven people only now. I need a stone crafter, not a master armorsmith that I'll not use until a few years later. I just don't want to feel the guilt of taking them away from their dilapidated, flooded home that I will most certainly come back to. Definitely. Also, it'd be nice to deny them now so that, in the future, I can make multiple fortresses the train more people in the skills I need. Then, I can cash out if I want to, or I can be rewarded later when like, 50 years from now, metalsmithing or gem setting isn't such a hard skill to come by. I would assume by then, guilds would be formed and it's taught more. Also, I just really want to be left alone. Stop following me dwarf #57! I want new blood!

You can expel dwarves from the fortress, but it won't send them back home.
