1: BETTER IMPROVISED WEAPONS, TOOL CREATION

2: Put pheromones mixed in with the eggs stinky smell, making them smell extremely unappetizing and inedible.

3: Increased power and range for mouth vaccum

SS: Able to communicate with other species (somewhat) through inventive use of pheromones and electric signals. May not work on species with vastly different and or alien biologies.

1. Shallow Crabcore gains "intelligence" aka behaviors that make it preferable for the DomeDwellers around to find optimal for animal husbandry (doesnt rip random stuff apart for fun anymore : ( )
2.Spikey Crabgore Ultra violence: Will seek out other non Spikey Crabgore beings to "clear out" grazing space or reduce predation.
3. Speciate Spikey Crabgore (After SS action) & send to Eke Shallows
A. Reversal of Deep Water survival mechanisms to begin adaption to shallow water areas.
B. Pincers become lopsided, one is bigger and for mauling, the other is smaller and for feeding.
SS: Spikey Crabgore becomes larger.

I underestimated the extent of my Florida family’s racism.

I’m a little disappointed in them tbh, though I probably should have seen it coming.

(Just heard my uncle saying some lowkey highly racist shit and my family just agreeing was really shocking for me.)

WTH, I hope I’m not infected with the Florida brain too :(

The Events

Strength: 43 (Minor Event)
Timeframe: 2 (Single Turn)

The World

Moving Landmasses (2 Turns Left)

The islands are still moving. Large earthquakes and tsunamis are still common occurances. But the ice age is finally over.

There is a development at Bir Shallows. Generations of tsunamis and underwater earthquakes have forced the algea spire population of the island to adapt. They have evolved to be much more durable, which comes with the advantage that they can hold their own weight on shallower, more tumulous waters. They now also have primitive root systems to hold onto their substrate. The algea spires now occur much closer to the shore.

The Landfall is ahead of schedule, and is now guaranteed to occur at Turn 14, instead of 15.



Slower Obese Scutelizard, Spoiled Scutelizard and Burrowing Krillgore are extinct.

Turn Reports will span three posts from now on. One for each larger island and one for Uch and the pelagic habitats. Because even after the separation, Bir and Eke as they are now totaled over 22000 characters. Double that with the colonisation of land, and we exceed the 40000 limit.

On the bright side, this may allow me to create micro habitats for you to specialise on. Hear that Librarian, there may very well be freshwater on the islands, after all.

Meanwhile the Cuttlecovy makes a massive jump for covy kind. 6 Meters.

Developing. Greatest Diegonic Cuttlecovy adaptations.
Develop Long fins with which to sail the currents. Tentacles among the side become sailfins, making use of the currents to move. They can fold against the side when needed.
Specialize Tentacle Growths Tentacles on the bottom become specialized. Some are strong and large, meant to be used to grasp prey and move on land. Others are fine and long, meant to entangle smaller creatures and sting them. And some are meant to zap and disable.
Speciation. Developing current surfing methods to improve their speed and maneuverability. 1 Remains in Bir Shallows, other moves to The Sunlight Zone
SS Roll. A robust and efficient digestion system to get everything out of prey. No food must be underutilized for a creature of such size.
