Temperament: 7 (Awsome Stuff)
The WorldMoving Landmasses (2 Turns Left)
The islands are still moving. Large earthquakes and tsunamis are still common occurances. But the ice age is finally over.
There is a development at Bir Shallows. Generations of tsunamis and underwater earthquakes have forced the algea spire population of the island to adapt. They have evolved to be much more durable, which comes with the advantage that they can hold their own weight on shallower, more tumulous waters. They now also have primitive root systems to hold onto their substrate. The algea spires now occur much closer to the shore.
The Landfall is ahead of schedule, and is now guaranteed to occur at Turn 14, instead of 15.
Slower Obese Scutelizard, Spoiled Scutelizard and Burrowing Krillgore are extinct.

Bir Island | Barren Rock Flats | (0/13 species)
Bir Shallows | Algea Forest | (13/13 species)
A large, carnivorous, perfectly rotund, extremely adaptable pre-sapient animal 4 meters in diameter, with many sharp, flexible tendrils that are able to cast powerful electricity. It lives in groups of up to 30 individuals. It moves and manouvers around by using air jets on its underside. It has a large round mouth that it uses to pull and devour its prey via suction from a set of very powerful internal gills. It has a thick, porous skin that allows algea to grow on it, giving it camuflage. It has efficent anti-toxin defenses. Its tissues are slightly acidic, charged with electricity, making it a non-target to parasites. It has a very large, smart brain, bulging, mantis shrimp-like eyes, and a sense of electroreception. It broadcasts electrical pulses that suggest its prey to come closer, along with pheromones to aid it. If there is no prey, it goes into stasis to conserve energy and is very energy efficent, and very long lived. It uses basic bone tools it crafts with its tentacles, to get around and hunt easier. It reproduces by external fertilisation of thousands of tiny, repulsive eggs, which hatch into embryonic young with very low survival rates.
A small, droplet-shaped, carnivorous animal 40 centimeters in length, with a pair of long, rapidly flapping, cuttlefish-like fins with grasping suction cups, moving in synch. It has small keratin spike teeth in its mouth to bite and kill prey. It has a very strong immune system. Its suction cups has stingers that secrete a numbing and sedative venom to prevent the prey from fleeing. It produces an electric shock to stun prey. It has a large brain, fish-like eyes, echolocation, and weak hearing. It reproduces by parasitic eggs that must be planted inside a host. The eggs secrete a scabbing substance to somewhat seal the wound. This process will often kill the host.
A piscine, carnivorous, pear-shaped animal 90 centimeters in length, with a set of shark-like, cartilageous fins. It has small, circular scales that cover its face and back and has a thick layer of subdermal fat. It has a robust jaw with many spike-like keratin teeth to kill prey, which it then devours via suction from a set of powerful suction chambers on its gills. It's stomach acid is very potent. It has a small brain with large memory center, fish-like eyes and a single small nostril. It reproduces by external fertilisation of eggs.

It has a very robust, very large jaw with many spike-like keratin teeth to kill prey, which it then devours via suction from a set of powerful suction chambers on its gills. It has a small brain with large memory center, fish-like eyes and a single small nostril. It reproduces by external fertilisation of eggs.
A piscine, omnivorous, cylindrical animal half a meter in length, with two pairs of hard, stout, wing-like fins. It is covered in insulating scales, which turn into plates at the belly. Its mouth has long, calcium baleen to filter out small animals, which it then devours via suction from a set of internal gills. On the sides of its mouth are two pairs of long, thin, three-jointed limbs of various sizes with clawed ends to tear apart prey of various sizes and are also used in self-grooming, along with a two short, muscular digits to drag itself on shore. It has a large brain and its only sense is sight by sharp, fish-like eyes. It reproduces by external fertilisation of many durable eggs, which are laid in tide pools. It is very social, and lives in pods. The young clean the adults of parasites. It hunts in shallow coasts, ramming its body onto targets, and then tearing them apart.
A piscine, carnivorous, weakly mesothermic, droplet-shaped animal 5 centimeters in length covered in an exoskeleton, with a large, multi faceted fish tail at the end. It has a long digestive tract. It has a strong, very large and heavy jaw lined with large keratin spikes to kill prey, which it then devours via suction from a set of internal gills. It has two long fangs with a very potent venom, and is largely immune to toxins. It has a small brain and its only sense is sight by large, fish-like eyes. It reproduces by external fertilisation of eggs. It lives in packs made of a dozen or so individuals.
A droplet-shaped, pre-sapient, amphibious, carnivorous animal 6 meters in length, with a layer of subdermal fat, thick hydrophobic fur and a pair of long, but very thin, rapidly flapping, cuttlefish-like fins with grasping suction cups, moving in synch. It is a very slow animal. It two pairs of long, hollow canines in its mouth to suck blood and tear flesh apart. It gills can store water to breathe air. It has a very strong heart and immune system. Its suction cups has stingers that secrete a numbing and sedative venom to prevent the prey from fleeing. It produces an electric shock to stun prey. It has a very large, complex brain, sharp fish eyes, echolocation and hearing. It reproduces by internal fertilisation and hatching of eggs. It rests and socialises on very shallow waters and cannot move in land, and displays feats of intelligence above that of an average animal.
A circular, omnivorous animal 40 centimeters in length, with a large tail and three pairs of small, stubby limbs on its underside. It's body is streamlined and it is very quick and nimble. It has sets of keratin baleen in its large mouth to filter algea from the water, which it then devours via suction from a set of internal gills. Its flesh is unappetizing. It has a photosynthetic back sail and it is very isolative to prevent overheating. Its skin is colored in a vibrant red with many yellow dots, which grants it a degree of aposematic coloration. It has a brain with large memory and coordination centers, fish-like eyes, long whiskers on the sides of its mouth and a long, wide snout with a single small nostril. It always swims on the surface of the water. It reproduces by external fertilisation of eggs that are seeded with choloroplasts from birth. It lives in large herds and cleans others of parasites and infections.
A circular, omnivorous, bloodsucking animal 50 centimeters in diameter, with three pairs of small, stubby limbs that end in claws on its underside. It has sets of very fine keratin cilia and four keratin spines in its large mouth to filter algea from water, which it then devours via suction from a set of powerful internal gills. Its flesh is unappetizing and it is mildly resistant to toxins. It has a self-replenishing photosynthetic back sail and it is very isolative to prevent overheating. Its skin is colored in a vibrant red with many yellow dots, which grants it a degree of aposematic coloration. It has a small brain with large memory center, fish-like eyes, long whiskers on the sides of its mouth and a long, wide snout with a single small nostril. It always swims on the surface of the water. It reproduces by external fertilisation of eggs that are seeded with choloroplasts from birth. It opportunistically drinks blood.
A small, crustaceanoid, herbivorous, animal 10 centimeters in length. It has six hydraulic legs and a pair of pincers that it uses to shove algea into its mouth. It is covered in a hardened, bony, and very, very spikey exoskeleton and is very lightweight. It has a set of internal gills. It has a small brain and its only sense is sight by sharp, fish-like eyes. It is an easygoing creature that tolerates others and has reduced fear responses, which makes it the ideal prey. It reproduces by external fertilisation of many durable eggs.
