People are essentially monkeys with freakishly large neocortexes. The impulsive, naughty primate beneath that new and fancy higher consciousness is still alive and well in there. So people do shit for no reason.

It's a dream come true, Hollywood has stopped making shit movies for a bit.

Dune2021 is awful. I watched the old version on youtube in 360p with a terrible terrible bitrate, and I saw and heard more of that movie so it wins by default.

I watched it on a cheap lcd projector I found once and I didn't see a goddamn thing for 70 of the first 100 minutes. The score gets boring it has nothing that sticks out and especially not the voices. So I figured since they are not interested in showing or telling me their damn movie I was wasting my time... Spent the rest of the airtime on my phone pouting, reading the opinions of others who didn't like it. I figured that was the best way to show the movie the right amount of disrespect, I had no time to start another movie and since the movie doesnt respect me I am sure as shit not going to rewatch it on a screen with better blacks... So yeah whenever the screen was somewhat lit enough to warrant turning my head, I basically saw one of them stupid libella helicopters again. At some point I was like allright is this shit done, and it was, I guess the score was leading me on, and then I realized I hadn't heard / understood the final lines.

F that movie so hard.
