Early Summer 1301 IS

After quickly gathering your troops, mostly composed of hardened Javolki warriors, alongside some Aversarian auxiliaries, you move south, leaving the capital in the capable hands of a regency composed of your wife and your councillors.

You quickly cross the border with Oraispol, and are quickly faced with a dilemma.
While some places are loyal to the king Holevar, others belong to the Conclave. While the incoming battle is at Oraispol, leaving roaming garrisons in your back might prove dangerous.

A) "We will left some troops to fix the garrisons where they are"
B) "Certainly not, I need my soldiers with me, at Oraispol"

You decide to left a fraction of your army, mostly aversarian auxiliaries, to besiege the small forts along the way. After a few more weeks, you arrive at the former capital of the Aversarian Empire.
Oraispol is burning.

Multiple fires rage on inside the city, with some sparkling from a too bright white, suggesting magic is at work here. The great imperial walls are broken and has collapsed at multiple points, either from the actual civil war or others from the chaotic century before, rendering any defense moot.

As you close the distance to the city, a handful of aversarian horsemen ride towards you, apparently waiting for you.

"Greetings, king Tengor!", says one of them. "My king was waiting for your arrival to storm into the Conclave’s part of the city. Let me lead you the way."

A) "Sure, we will follow"
B) "Hold on, I’m better on my own, and those breaches in the walls look appetizing"
