Who knows why the lady Maeve chose Agea Velites su Theramachea as her champion.  No one was even sure why she decided to send one to the dwarfs tournament at all.  Dwarfs masters of Iron and Steal, bane of all the fair folk.  She could be capricious and cruel, but she could also lay deep plans and subtle. 

But it was not for Agea to question the decisons of the Lady of Winter, so he took up his fathers sword and a new shield and headed up to the Dwarf fortress to fight and maybe die for the glory of winter and the honor of Theramachea.

A squad of little creatures dressed in hides march in front of a litter led by a herald playing a horn instrument. The herald stops playing and says in a high-pitched voice,
"Step aside for the Great Mother, Queen Regina Formicarium! "
The soldier ant women on the side of the litter pull back the curtains on the front to reveal the magnificent insect inside. As big as a lion, the ant woman queen smiles out to the gathered people. Her chitin is glossy, her robes pristine and she wields a beautiful copper spear.

Backstory: Nostrotortoise is an old, well-respected priest of the Burning Sun, a small religion from a faraway desert. One night, as he gazed upon the gentle slopes of the shifting sands that he called home, Nostrotortoise received a vision from his god. A great, fiery figure descended from the heavens, decrying the small amount of followers left of his once great religion. The Avatar of the Burning Sun tasked Nostrotortoise with taking part in a grand gladiatorial event, so as to spread the word and gain more believers. The Avatar warned him, however, that should he fail, the small desert village that Nostrotortoise called home would receive the burning judgement of a vengeful god. Taking up arms, Nostrotortoise leaves on his journey, for the sake of his people, and his very soul.

Sorry I forgot about material. I would like the shield to be oak wood, and for the armor to be copper, which I believe would send me over my remaining points. If it does, I will ditch the leggings to free some points up.
