EVENT: A Scar in the Sky
Arril Votekka (Glass) and Alagar the Shipwright (Madman198237)

Prospero, 792M30

Today was a normal day in Tizca, the city buzzing with activity as usual. That is, until a flaming scare engulfed the sky, burning the stars and sending a meteorite right in the central plaza of Tizca, sending every living inhabitant, and especially the psykers, reeling in pain and wonder. The projectile smashed and burnt the marble on the ground like hot butter.
As officials and emergency services poured into the scene, a single being emerged from the smoke. A small, red-skinned child, perfectly unscathed. Despite its incongruousness, nobody could question the importance of the child.
As Arril Votekka, the most prestigious scholar of Tizca, and his companion Alagar, still dazed from the psychic shock, arrived soon after on the crash site, it was tacitly agreed to let them manage the situation.

How do Arril and Alagar approach the child, and how does they present themselves and Prospero?

EVENT: A Light in the Night
Konstatin Curze (cog_nito)

Nostramo, 792M30

For a brief moment, it was like Nostramo Quintus had a true sun above it, and not the pale facsimile with its bleak white light. Every men, women and children of the hive would lift surprised eyes towards the warm colors coming from the sky. A second later, and it was gone.

Another second and the silence was broken by an apocalyptic explosion, collapsing nearby buildings and killing hundreds. Floors after floors fell, until whatever was the source of the chaos meet the earth’s crust.
And then, it kept pushing, grinding a hole deep inside the planet.

Firemen, security forces and gangers alike rushed towards the chaos, and even Konstatin Curze, despite the risks, moved to observe the madness with its own eyes. But when his bodyguards went down into the kilometers’ tall pit, they found an empty human-sized capsule.
And nothing else.

How does Konstatin organize the search to find what was inside the capsule?

Verus, considering the possibility that his peace might be disturbed (and not being fond of social interaction,) begins construction of a mobile workshop capable of withstanding incredible punishment and equipped with weaponry to discourage would-be interlopers. He begins work on a Large Structure of Rare tech level (2500 cost), a Baneblade-sized workshop-tank called the Principal Manor. His skills in Blacksmithing (25), Toolmaking (20), Bionics (10*2) Industrial Engineering (10), Large-scale Project Management (10), and Logistics (7) apply, as do his crafting bionics, giving him a total of ((92+20) * 2 (Industrial base) * 2 (Forgemaster)) 448 points per action. He spends 6 years crafting this, leveling his Large Vehicle Engineering to 6 in the process. He spends 4 years working to uptech to a proper Rare base on his landship, leveling Large Vehicle Engineering to 10 and gaining +1 Intelligence.

Spoiler: Sheet 800M30 (click to show/hide)

He spends 1 more year completing the uptech to Rare, gaining 1 points in Logistics. He spends another 9 years working to partway upgrade to Very Rare, gaining 3 more points in Cutting Weapons, 2 more points in Logistics, and 4 points in Superheavy Tank Engineering. He gains +1 Willpower.

First Konstatin approaches the capsule to use upon it one of the only two psychic powers he actually knows how to use that being:

breaching the past:

Effect: Massive +5

Scale: Single +1

Range: Touch/self +1

Breach the past is a divination based psychic power that allows the user to look into the past of a object or living being, the user gets a vague sense of the extent of the history of the target and chooses how far into the target's past they'll try to look, and they can look no farther then the target's birth/creation.

He uses this to learn exactly what was actually in the capsule by looking at the capsules recent past, after learning what came out of the capsule Konstatin orders the creation of a triple layered perimeter (Basically a perimeter that is surrounded by a bigger perimeter a bit further back, which itself is surrounded by a even bigger perimeter even further back) to surround and cordon off the crash site while search teams look absolutely everywhere within said perimeters.

Meanwhile Konstatin himself will hook into the local PA systems in order to communicate with the occupant of the capsule and persuade the occupant to come to Konstatin peacefully as Konstatin means it no harm.

Alagar will just...walk up to the child and say... hello? Be friendly. Use whatever psychic communication I can to aid the fact that there should logically be a translation problem here. This universe doesn't run on logic but, y'know, just in case.

I dunno what to expect from Baby Primarch Magnus so we'll just start simple, I suppose?

Psychically inspect the child to make sure he's not A. dangerous or B. hurt in a non-visible manner. Alagar will introduce himself as probably the most powerful psyker on Prospero and ally of Arril, the great destroyer of insects, user of hammers, builder of mighty ships one single half-completed rust bucket that's still waiting for him to get some time off his day job to finish it, inventor of some psychic powers, etc. etc. Jokes aside, Alagar introduces himself as a powerful psyker responsible for the defense of Prospero and is going to offer to teach Magnus about the practical side of psykering, since Arril pretty much has all other education in the bag.

With the rapid decline in warp storms, the recently completed megaproject for fighter construction, and the booming economy, Rauny means to hammer out a mutual defense treaty.

A mutual defense treaty that will allow for construction of ships again.

The only shipyard in system is around a moon in a retrograde orbit, near the desert planet and the broken archaeotech sunshield.  They'll be core to any mutual defense system.. it'll need expansion and some sort of treaty to hammer out who gets what ships, to allow for some independance.

Rauny wants to use the large fanbase to put some pressure on the group running the shipyard, and is willing to come to a deal, something along the line of building a shipyard and she gets their backing in forming the mutual defense treaty.

After some time giving orders for the fans, she proceeds to the first meeting in the project..

EVENT: A Scar in the Sky
Arril Votekka (Glass) and Alagar the Shipwright (Madman198237)

Prospero, 792M30

...

How do Arril and Alagar approach the child, and how do they present themselves and Prospero?

Arril, for his part, begins mother-henning over this child who has been rather violently flung into the ground. Just because the child is unharmed - or visibly unharmed - does not mean that they're "alright" in other crucial ways. Mental health is considered of crucial importance in a society of psions for a reason.

After assuring the child's well-being, Arril's presentation of the world will focus on Prospero's history as a safe haven for those who felt they did not fit elsewhere, as well as its more modern scholastic culture. As for himself, he merely offhandedly mentions his lack of psionic attunement (as part of expressing that Prospero is for everyone) and that he teaches and does research at the University of Tizca (as part of the discussion of the planet's culture).

EVENT: A Scar in the Sky
Arril Votekka (Glass) and Alagar the Shipwright (Madman198237)

Prospero, 792M30

Despite being the center of attention, alongside the amount of chaos and destruction going around him, the child shows some inhuman focus, seemingly smoothly paying attention to everything at once.
He responds to the psychic inspection from Alagar, and while not being able (or not wanting?) to speak, the child share a powerful feeling of welcomeness, touching even the non-psychic ones like Arril.

Following the crash, the red-skinned child is quickly brought in safer place. In the following days, it becomes quickly apparent that he has incredible learning skills, absorbing knowledge on all matters like a sponge. Arril and Alagar are in good position on the tutelage race, a third contender, Amon, also tries to have influence. Amon is one of the most powerful psykers on Prospero, and an important and prestigious scholar within Tizca.

It's no doubt that the red child's education will be a serious matter for the following years.

The following years will be fundamental on how grow the child. What will they be made of?
- How is named the child?
- What attitude have Arril and Alagar towards him?
- What will be the main focus of his education in his early years?
- What behavior do the Perpetuals have towards Amon, and his wishes in educating the child?

EVENT: A Light in the Night
Konstatin Curze (cog_nito)

Nostramo, 792M30

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

Placing his hands on the broken metallic pod, Konstatin starts going through the past. He discovers its content: a small, white child, so white it could have been from Nostramo. He is not able to go further than the pod's appearance in the sky, as only a colorful, yelling and madness beyond understanding greets him beyond that point. Through the memory, Konstatin is able to roughly guess the direction the child took, and installed a layered perimeter to catch the runaway, while communicating through megaphone, trying to convince him to stop hiding.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

While Konstatin does not manage to make  the child surrender, his guards do meet him...
By the time Konstatin and his men reach the contact point, the child is surrounded, half a dozen men dying at his feet, and cornered like a stalked prey.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

Meeting the young and terrified (but also terrifying, considered he had already killed six grown men) child face-to-face, Konstatin is able to use to full effects his tremendous charismatic skills, the ones that won him Nostramo Quintus, and calm down the young infant. Upon taking his hands, the child suddenly collapses and convulses on the ground. The medical staff nearby assures this is probably from exhaustion, and that the child is otherwise surprisingly healthy, considering the impact of his pod.

Once safe and secured, it makes no doubt that the fate of the child is up to Konstatin, both the governor of Nostramo and the one who catched and calmed down the child.

The following years will be fundamental on how grow the child. What will they be made of?
- How is named the child?
- What attitude have Konstatin towards him?
- What will be the main focus of his education in his early years?

EVENT: Shooting for the stars
Rauny (Devastator)

Tao Tie System, 790M30

Albeit divided, the system of Tao Tie remained peaceful and quite prosperous for the last decades. But prosperous does not necessarily means powerful, and Rauny would have none of that. Rauny had bigger plans.

As a successful industrialist who flourished with multiple companies, Rauny expressed her wishes for a federated system, something that would conquer the space and the stars beyond Tao Tie. And while a fully united system was out of reach for now, a defense pact between its different entities was more accessible.
The heart of her plan was the Mochun Shipyard, a conglomerate-owned shipyard that was also the biggest one in the system.

This would be Rauny's first target. Taking advantage of her status, Rauny managed a negociation meeting with Mochun. Its corporate executives accepted, curious about her offer.

How does Rauny plans her negociation with Mochun's executives? What does she offers, and what are her conditions?

- What attitude have Arril and Alagar towards him?
- What will be the main focus of his education in his early years?

Arril suggests the name 'Altan' for the child, 'red dawn' in reflection of his landing and pigmentation.

His treatment of the child is... well... as a child. As his child, really, not that he has any prior experience with parenting. Just because they will grow incredibly swiftly does not mean that they do not still need the nurturing that other children do; just because they develop intellectually at unprecedented speeds does not mean that their emotional maturity necessarily matches it. Of course they will need to be taught - their curiosity and comprehension know no bounds, not teaching them to Arril's full ability would be not merely a disservice, but an enormous failure - but more care than that provided by a teacher is needed.

Arril sees no reason why there should be a 'main focus' to education for a child as bright as Altan, but simply due to the nature of scholasticism on Prospero, their education will likely cleave toward psionics. That said, it will not merely be how to wield psionic power, but also the creation of psi-enhanced technology, as well as learning about the nature of the psionic plane - the laws that govern it, the ways in which psions can manipulate it, and the risks and dangers involved in being connected to it (little different from ensuring that one knows all the dangers before using a piece of heavy machinery, except the psionic plane can be even less predictable). Even so, among Altan's education on psionics, Arril still made sure that they would be taught on a myriad of other subjects more grounded in objective reality, such as mathematics, how to put forward a reasoned argument (or identify the failures of logic in one), the history of Prospero and humanity, and other such things.

As for Amon, Arril had no objection to his involvement. The man was one of his respected colleagues, and they had worked on projects together previously, though they had no personal relationship. Ultimately, Arril treated him as simply a fellow scholar endeavoring to give Altan the best education possible. If there were disagreements on the accuracy of what anybody was teaching the child, they could resolve that like adults.

Konstatin's attitude towards the child is to adopt him as his own, intending to raise the child with love and care, he grants the child the name Konrad Curze.

While raising Konrad Konstatin's primary priority is more so to ensure that his new son has a happy childhood over a academically fruitful one, forcing young Konrad into periods of study for no longer then 4 hours a day (excluding weekends) most of which would be dedicated to Konstatin helping Konrad gain control over the psychic powers he can sense his son possesses, knowing full well how important it is for a psyker to be able to refrain from drawing upon their power.

Aside from the 4 hours of mandated study Konrad would be more then welcome to explore various subjects that draw his interest in his leisure time, provided every resource (within reason) to do.

Furthermore Konstatin while raising Konrad endeavors to make most days into "Take your child to work day" showing Konrad how he plans to reform Nostramo into a decent, crime free society. While ofcourse making sure to not subject Konrad to anything age inappropriate.

+ 2 Willpower

Before Konrad's arrival Konstatin spends another 2 years trying to reform Nostramo into a decent society (12/50 to somewhat functional society, 12/100 to crime free society)

After Konrad's arrival Konstatin starts spending half his time in the day raising Konrad, while continueing to reform Nostraman society the rest of the time.

So mechanically he spents 9 years raising Konrad this turn and another 9 years reforming Nostramo so (21/50/100 progress) assuming that Konrad's imput as he ages into adulthood has no impact on the speed at which Konstatin reforms Nostramo.

Taking advantage of her devoted fanbase as an Axe star, Rauny expressed her wishes for a federated system, something that would conquer the space and the stars beyond Tao Tie. And while a fully united system was out of reach for now, a defense pact between its different entities was more accessible.
The heart of her plan was the Mochun Shipyard, a conglomerate-owned shipyard that was also the biggest one in the system.

This would be Rauny's first target. Thanks to the pressure of her fans, which were bad for Mochun's business, its corporate executives accepted, expecting to confront a wide-eyed idealist.

How does Rauny plans her negociation with Mochun's executives? What does she offers, and what are her conditions?

Well, first, Rauny isn't going as the Axe star.  Her influence with the axe groups is through her previous form, but a similar voice and the same musical talent still allow her the ability to influence their behavior.

But quite some time ago she shapeshifted into the industrialist who built the new megaproject and has created the new industrial organizations which have been operating on many different parts of the system.

The goal is relatively straightforwards.  Mochun's shipyard is likely the best place to sort out an agreement between the disparate nations of Tao Tie.  It is not to unify them politically, but to create a framework for their mutual defense and expansion.  Instead of going out into the galaxy as some dominated empire, they shall live, create, and fight, as free men.

Any expansion is going to require new ships, and the shipyard is the best place that currently exists in the system which can make them.  So it'll be the most important factor in making sure the system can expand.

There are two things to offer.  A carrot, and a stick.  A carrot, in which case Rauny, the famous industrialist who has created a mass manufacturing factility for space fighters and small spaceships, will expand and modernize their shipyard, while allowing the executives to remain in positions of power.  Not as the sole owners, but as powerful magnates who will profit greatly from the new system.. albeit having to give up some measure of exclusivity.  There is likely no other person in the system who can provide them with as much benefit as Rauny.

At the same time, there is a stick.  Since Rauny is interested in maintaining healthy competition, there is the alternative of creating a new shipyard, entirely independant of their control, to act as the new shipyard for the combined defense forces of Tao Tie.  This would take her more time and effort, naturally, but it would undermine the power of Mochun's executives in a way that expanding their facilities while granting construction rights to the nations, and the alliance, of Tao Tie would not.

Alagar will support Alagar's suggestion for a name and leave most of the teaching to Arril, and likewise agree with Amon's involvement (provided Amon doesn't have an obvious agenda or teach anything morally objectionable). Alagar does, of course, do much of the actually-using-psyker-powers education for Magnus/Altan.

Alagar will treat Altan much like a relative, perhaps akin to a nephew, who is also his apprentice; no fooling around tolerated when employing the Warp but otherwise a reasonably close and kind relationship.

Spoiler: Gerod PA-01 (click to show/hide)
First I will craft telekinetic Psychodendrites (Very Rare, Medium 150cp) to assist in my crafting Empyrean Diode Crystals of Bealu Aversion (chunky, crystalline psi-implants that will ward off hostile or corrupted warp energies, hopefully protecting me from daemons and telepathic attack) and Cranial Crystals of Control (rounded, crystalline psi-implants that help with focus and precision when using psychic powers) (Very Rare, Small 100cp).
My yearly crafting for the first two years should be Psi-Artifice 20 + (Focus Crafting 20 + Bionic Crafting 15)*2=80*2 years=160.
That should get me my Psychodendrites, which should give a +15 to subsequent crafting actions, meaning two years would produce 190+10 left over=200cp which should be enough to finish my other two foci.

After this, I will spend two years developing the following two Psychic Powers:
Then I will spend thirteen years Swaying my Forge World, with the last year being split Sway and Teaching Training (9 charisma + 20 Academic Debate=29*.1 Huge Organization=3, rounding up)(3*25 Sway Actions=75) and the remaining three years leading efforts to reconnect with local worlds (including Prospero) now that the Warp Storms are starting to calm down.

I expect to get three new psi-foci for various specific situations, reach 75.4 Influence with Goibinum Prime and hopefully make contact with Prospero, as well as possibly other worlds who might be interested in collaborating with a forge world.
I'd also like to advance Charisma and Willpower once each and have my 4 years of crafting train Factory Design by 4, as I workshop methods of mass production, my 2 years of Psychic Power development training Psychic Control by 2 and my 3 years of exploration should train Teaching by 3 since I'll be taking my apprentices with me and most of that time will be spent waiting for the ship to get somewhere.
Spoiler: Gerod PA-01 (click to show/hide)
EDIT: I have received confirmation that my Psychodendrites actually produce +35cp so I'm gonna put those 40 leftover points into a dorsal psionic (psi-bionic) idea I hope to work on soon.
