[bad reasons, and an admission that you intend to steal shares]
Okay, good. Just wanted to be sure.

A more conventional contract, for those who'd prefer it:
Quote from: Dizzy Pike contract
The undersigned agree to share-based joint ownership of a trading vessel to be named "Dizzy Pike", which shall initially traverse the Northlands route.
Each investor receives shares equal to the number of 1.2 Sovereigns they contribute. 10 shares are available. Each share entitles the holder to 1/10th of the goods delivered by the Dizzy Pike upon returning to harbour. Each share also requires the holder to pay 1/10th of any costs incurred in the regular operation of the vessel (eg repairs and chart costs), failure to pay resulting in shares being seized and auctioned, with proceeds paid out to remaining shareholders.
Shareholders of Dizzy Pike shall be automatically charged full repair costs (unless they choose to fail to pay.) Full repairs may be substituted for partial or no repairs by a majority vote of shareholders.
Any changes to the Dizzy Pike's operations require a majority of shares to agree. Any changes to this contract require all shares to agree.

Signed,
-Radiant Trading for 2.4s (+0.3s chart costs)

Why not make it 12 shares of 1s each?  Then you could even divide shares equally between 4 players.

Cause that's a bit of a nightmare. There aren't twelve goods, but 10. And 10 does not divide by 4 anyway.

Also Nuke, if people can't pay, then they lose their shares. Don't go saying that's a bad thing. (Also I doubt you can fill that particular contract this turn. It just isn't happening, so my reasons, while not good, are correct.) I'll also remind that we could steal the shares of our current boat. We have the majority and a contract to force an outrageous sum onto people. We obviously don't, but it is possible.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I'll get the ball rolling, I looked at the NRC contract and yup it is per journey. I am willing to put the bird on the "Crazy Aywen" for no charge.

Edit: Added a Recurring clause so we don't have to keep making the contract again.
Changed with the info given that the price increased.
I personally understood that the contract we signed was already ongoing for as long as we kept making the payments (which I'm happy to do), why else bother to specify it is paid per trip and that it updates its prices?
(Also dubious of the idea of a shareholder of the Aywen adding clauses to the NRC's rental contract for his fellow Aywen shareholders to sign.)

Anyway, give me a share of the Lead Catfish and I'll give you my share of the Crazy Aywen. Has to be this turn though.

Could do that if you just sell the goods and split the profit according to shares I guess.

Tric could you spare me 0.2s after all? Will pay you back on turn... 11, 12 at the latest.

I didn't realize that it was ongoing, I just wanted to make sure that was understood but if it isn't needed ok then.

I agree to the trade.

ACTACTACT: Trade a share of the "Lead catfish" to Fairchild Enterprises in exchange for their share of the "Crazy Aywen".

The following contracts are hereby invalidated by all parties undersigned (which is just me)
Quote from: Crazy Aywen NRC Chart Contract
Crazy Aywen shall make use of the NRC's Charts to change their Route, sailing to Northland for Preserved Meats.
0.15 must be paid for each stock owned to the NRC, for a total of 1.5s each trip. Otherwise this contract becomes void.
When the NRC Changes the Price, it is reflected on this Contract.

Recurring clause:
Unless otherwise voted on for a new route or a change of the "Crazy Aywen's" initial charter contract, every time the "Crazy Aywen" returns to port the shareholders must buy the chart from the NRC.
-Monkey Corps(2 shares)

ACTACTACT: Also going to put the Snow White Dove on the "Crazy Aywen"

Spoiler: Monkey Corp (click to show/hide)

Quote from: Shipowner's Initiative
In the interests of expanded borders, the Shipowner's Imitative seeks for ownership of the charts Lady Igraine creates. As such, the undersigned agree to pay an equal amount for an Exclusive Contract the payees have free access to.
This contract can be modified with full agreement of all signees once the Charts are owned.
-Corsairs Incorporated Wants to be taken off
-Wares-To-Sell corp
-KashKow Enterprises
-Monkey Corp

I assume this is what the current bid would be if the others are still interested in bidding together
4/3 = 1.33...s but we can potentially increase it to 4.02 to have it equal amongst all bidders.
With it being 4.02s/3 = 1.34s per bidder
We all should have the money for this bid

Also as a suggestion for directions, I say we go southwest

Probs maybe asking GM for a little turn extension for the bidders to decide whether to go through or not

Willing to go through. Don't care on direction. Good idea on increasing the bid. Need to keep an eye on our competitor KashKow Enterprises in case they increase their bid.

ACTACT: Passes along 0.2s, to be repaid by Turn 12 at the latest.

Also Kashkow could just drop out of the contract you guys are in, forcing you to pay 2.05 each to outbid them.

Yes, however, Kashkow does not have any shares on ships to bring any immediate profit other than lending the chart out for more money
also, I bet Kashkow would like to save some sovereigns for lending some loans or future ship investments and without risking almost entirely of their fortune for potentially unprofitable chart

See this is why I like owning my own ship.  No need to make decisions by committee, no worrying if I'm going to get undercut or repossessed - you guys should try it, it's excellent.

Might as well move the turn along then. There just isn't enough capitol for a traditional contract this turn. At most you're get 9 shares. Cause I'm not really interested in being the tenth.
