As was expected, if not common, the denizens of the castle that floated between universes felt the odd sensation of it coming to rest in a new reality, of a sort. There were a few moments of silence before the intercom system crackled to life. "This is Brigadier General Vilhelmiina Aino, hailing from the Castle in the Void. If you're here to combat the Trespasser threat, please respond and we will assist with docking." The pilot's chair in the throne room had a set of out-of-place-looking communications gear, complete with viewscreen.

It might be best if someone replied sooner, rather than later.

"What is it with mortals and their pointlessly long titles..."

Ea was pretty good at taking over the lead and doing most of the talking in any given situation. That is, if that given situation would be any other than her current one. The most glaring problem for her was that, not only was she relatively new and did not wish to assert herself quite so harshly just yet, there more than likely would be more questions. Many of which she simply could not answer because she only came here around a week ago (Speaking from her own calendar, given how strange time and space was handled in here).

It was for that reason that the King of fairies decided to leave this situation to somebody more fitting for this role.

"Would somebody who knows how to operate this Marvel of technology please pick up? ...Or at least tell me how it works before I make a fool out of myself"

"Ahem!" A youthful voice would clear her throat as she tried to reply. A young woman with a mechanical and red sort of aesthetic spoke up."Of course we are! This is Red Rose speaking from the castle. We are a gathering of heroes from across the rift between worlds! Even if I haven't been here very long at all yet myself but that's honestly not important the important thing is that yes, we're here to fight these interdimensional villains and monsters-"

"Aiko, the microphone is over here. I have not turned it on yet." A near-identical young lady, with blue colors and glasses instead, noted. She slid into the seat and, connecting to the machines briefly to understand it, turned it on. "That is indeed our purpose, Brigadier General."

"Shizu, my dramatic entranceeee!"

"Good. Looks like you're in a. . ." The person on the other end of the line paused for a moment. "A castle. That's going to be confusing as hell," she muttered, almost to herself. "Do you have real-space propulsion or do we need to tow you in?"

The castle was equipped with such, although whether anyone had ever actually *used* it was another question entirely.

"Status uncertain. Primarily have been using interdimensional travel rather than physical. Running diagnostic and test." Shizu reported, even as she sent the commands. Once it was clear trying to fire the engines wouldn't blow up the castle, she'd send start propelling them at slow speed towards the station if she could.

The structure shuddered and began to move as the retrofitted engines heaved to life. They floated toward the station, or at least probably did (it was hard to tell in space) until the Brigadier General's voice came over the intercom again. "Alright, we're gonna tractor you in the rest of the way. This tech is. . . unique, so there's going to be a bit of impact."

A few seconds later, a loud "whunk" sound reverberated through the stones of the castle, and for a moment it felt like the whole thing had been seized by some massive hand. "Reeling in now. This'll be a few minutes."

"While it is pretty interesting that they have the means to pull our entire castle in, why does every civilization with access to space travel needs to use technology? The astral sea is easily accessible, even some of the first elves...no, I shouldn't ramble. We're going in there and I'll have a chat with the people from there once we get there."

That seemed to be a compromise as good as any that Ea could make out of the current situation. Her day had just started and yet it promised to become interesting. Sadly for her, it most likely was going to end up being the worse kind of "Interesting"

It was only after hearing the strange message over the intercom system she didn't even know they had and feeling the whole castle shake that Brynn made her way to the throne room. She glanced back and forth between Ea and Aiko, a brow raised.

"What's all this commotion about? Has there been a larger force in the fight this entire time?"

"I dunno, maybe?" Aiko shrugs. "I mean, it would be weird if we were the only people doing it right? Multiverse-ending threat and all."

Lyra had been fixing up some of her gear when she’d heard the announcement. As fast as she could, she’d ran up to the throne room.

Lyra nodded to Aiko, Shizu, and Brynn as she entered. “So there’s more castles out there?” Made sense, considering the scale of their fight. “So, Brigadier Aino, what’s the purpose of this docking, anyway? We’ve been working on our own for some time now. Has something changed?”

"Well if there's an infinite number of universes there is a chance above zero that there is at least one universe which actively fights against the Neverborn. After all, we have been doing the very same thing from our position in the feywild. It's most likely just hard to pin down something which does not exist in space time with a machine that tries to imitate a scrying spell without any idea what you're exactly looking for."

Ea threw a quick glance over at Brynn but decided that this wasn't the best time to speak up on the elephant (or in this case, the dragon) in the room, no matter how glaring it was.

"I do not believe it is a castle." Shizu, from her position in the pilot's seat, noted. It was probably a bit odd to see someone who (looked like a) 15 year old piloting.

"Maybe it's an old age-of-sail looking ship? Or a moon base? That would be cool."

The Brigadier General didn't respond. A few more moments and the castle shuddered. "You should be good to go. I'll get down to the hangar as fast as I can. It's a big place."

Fortunately, it took them about as long to exit the castle as it did the General to reach their position, plus a few minutes of awkward waiting. The room was positively enormous, and one wall had been replaced with a faintly visible barrier of some sort, allowing them to peek out into the endless glittering void outside. Eventually, they saw an industrial-looking robotic figure, sleek yet massive, striding toward them, It was painted in a forest green color with blue accents, including a visor. It still had to crane its neck up to get a proper look at Brynn, though. "Well, not the weirdest people to show up here. I'll show you around while we talk."

Nanonai hadn't involved herself with the docking situation since she was a child, not a pilot or diplomat. But her curiosity wouldn't let her stay out of things any longer. She skipped out into the hangar and spun around to get a look at what the castle looked like from the outside, since she hadn't seen it before.

Ea walked up to the figure, intend on learning more about this new place.

"So are you the one in Charge here or just somebody to greet the newcomers?"

The Erlking didn't take the time to look around much. But she did notice that wherever they were now it was...stationary. Quite strange, everything considered.

"In any case, who exactly are you people? You seem to be allies with a shared goal, but I'd like to know more about the general situation you've inevitably brought us into."
