I would love to get ahold of the Chuck Norris mod.  Can I request that get posted?   :)

(I've done no modding myself.)

I have a great AM mod, but:

1. It's not on this computer.  :(
2. It's not quite finished, and since it uses flying a lot, I am waiting for the next version.
3. I will release it on these forums when it is finished, and I don't want to spoil or tease anyone before that.

I can say however, that it will be very ambitious, I have already made a languish, but toady has added new words in the next version, so I will have to redo that.  :(
it will have new body definition, languish, custom profession names, Bad guy insults and about everything editable in the raws. I will also work to give it an "personality", kind of like the elf's being environmentalists.  :D  now I will stop bragging whiteout proof, you will just have to wait and see.  :D
A little teser;
You sting the human child in the upper body from behind!
 It is run trough!  :D
 The human child looks numb!
The human child has trouble breathing!
The human child has been struck down!
You bite the human in the head!
It flies of in a bloody arc!  :D

...

I have said to mutsh already.

I've created tons of mods so far, but I'm going to release them when I'm done my supar-sekrit modswitcher program that'll let you change mods without having to delete your old saves or regions in the process. It'll probably be a few days.

God of Toast (what kind of deity is that?!?), if you are talking about the teaser I posted; 1, it wasn't from the actual log, just the general direction it sounds like, and 2, there are 2 different humans in that one, a human child and a human (peasant, supposedly).

I never play as elves so I modded them into wizards. Nothing terribly fancy here, but it turns out rather fun to have this as one of your companions.

Just overwrite the elf entry in creature_standard.txt, and create/retire a wizard adventurer with empty hands somewhere for best effect to recruit.

code:
[CREATURE:ELF]
   [NAME:Wizard:Wizards:Wizard-]
   [TILE:'E'][COLOR:3:0:0]
   [SPEED:700][GRASSTRAMPLE:0]
   [GENPOWER:3]
   [BUTCHERABLE_NONSTANDARD]
   [INTELLIGENT]
       [FIREBREATH][FIREIMMUNE]
       [WEBBER][THICKWEB][WEBIMMUNE]
   [CANOPENDOORS]
   [PREFSTRING:grace]

[BODY:HUMANOID:2EYES:2EARS:NOSE:2LUNGS:HEART:GUTS:ORGANS:HUMA

NOID_JOINTS:THROAT:NECK:SPINE:BRAIN:5FINGERS:5TOES:MOUTH]
   [NARROW]
   [DAMBLOCK:4]
   [SIZE:7]
   [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTYPE:GRASP:invoke Eldritch Fire to

strike:invokes Eldritch Fire to strike:1:3:BURN]

[ATTACKFLAG_WITH]
   [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTYPE:MOUTH:chant "Copopanoca˜£" and

hardened air pummels:chants "Copopanoca˜£" and hardened air

pummels:2:4:BLUDGEON]
       [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTYPE:MOUTH:chant "Malefeca" and black

lightning blasts:chants "Malefeca" and black lightning

blasts:1:5:GORE]
   [CHILD:12][BABY:1][MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE]
   [FAT:1]
   [EQUIPS]
   [DIURNAL]
   [SPEECH:elf.txt]
   [STANDARD_FLESH]
   [HOMEOTHERM:10067]

I guess this is pretty fun to play as too, though I don't think there's a way to use firebreath and webbing as an adventurer. Now if only we had more elemental damage types besides BURN.

CAUSTIC, EXPLOSIVE, and RADIOACTIVE would also make for very interesting and awesome types of damage.  But we must be patient....  Hopefully, we'll at least get magical monsters that can inflict such pain on us.  :)

Sounds great- but is there a way to add these wizards as a civilization on their own?
Also; lets see the almighty god of blood's mod! When will that be ready?

It should already has been done as I planed it, but tings got in the way, it should be finished in just a couple of millennia...

it is actually mostly done in the old version, but since it focuses on thing that have changed I will probably have to rewrite most of it.

//////////////// MAJOR SPOILER ////////////////////
A teaser; what I will probably name the tread I post it in:
"What has the size of an elephant, the attitude of an cat, and the "wisdom" of an elf?"
///////////////////////////////////////////////////
Edit: inserted mayor spoiler flag.

Given the poison, I'd say a Wyvern.
