sewers beneath a big city. The watery ambience of running sewage lulls in the background, as squirrelly shadows scurry and squeak about the squalid tunnels. A distant rumbling soon disturbs the otherwise intimate atmosphere, and soon a wave of freshly discarded wastewater outpours from a nearby duct into the oozing canal below. With bubbling suspense, a hand rises through the surface and grabs onto a nearby railing. The humanoid’s body soon emerges, gasping and washed in filth. It appears that this individual from the city above had been cast off through the sewer system, now finding themselves in your domain.

1d6: 1You begin to groove out, but your stick accidentally bonks into a patrolling guard. Enraged by your apparent mischief, the armorclad human growls at you in anger. “Oy! You’re not allowed to do that! Also I’ve never seen you around here before! Best take you to prison for thorough questioning!”
He pounces on you and restrains you with a chain, before proceeding to forcibly escort you towards the local jailhouse.

You find yourself in the
Grand Library. Rows upon rows of books are beautifully arranged on shelves as far as the eye can see. Light flourishes in through magnificent arching windows, washing the atmosphere with divine splendor, and a mystical chanting can be heard through the halls, as if emanating from the books themselves and the countless stories between their pages. And in the midst of it all, is you. Standing in your meager unconventional attire and bulky drooling demeanor, as solemn figures in robes shuffle past you, their scrutinizing eyes confounding with questions.
Assure the humans that I'm not a threat and will not do anything untoward.
1d6: 4The humans find your reassurance comforting. It is even refreshing for them to witness an exotic being like yourself behaving in a harmonious and civilized manner. And so they welcome you to the village, treating you as one of their own. Their shops and facilities are now open to you, including a blacksmith, fletcher, herbalist, magic shop, as well as an inn and a tavern. Overall it seems like a peaceful, mellow little settlement, though you do witness a guard escorting an amorphous scallywag with a stick towards the jailhouse.
