Well, I cant remember how many times I die like this, as a result, that cave is filled with dwarf corpse. What is a bronze colossus any way?  :confused:

Hmm, maybe you need to try a new strategy? Get some help or take on smaller foes until you're strong enough.

Even cyclops are difficult for a first quest. Generally, wandering around a random cave, killing the basic creatures, then running away when the big boss shows his head is my standard way of staying alive.

Usually though I am not so concerned, and play as you are. Way more fun to have crazy lopsided fights that sometimes, somehow, work out for you.

Ettins are two-headed giants. They're bigger (size 12) than minotaurs (size 9) but smaller than giants and cyclopes (size 16).

For reference, humans/elves are size 7 and dwarves are size 6.

Practice on animals. Mules until you are OK at wrestling, then horses... then go out into the wilderness and do it to larger animals (warthogs seem to work well).

I tried to kill some mules in a dwarf cave,
nothing happened when I killed 2 of them, but when I bashed the 3rd mule....the axedwarf stood before me and said "prepare to die!"
