Actually, I’m going to have to agree with A_Curious_Cat and disagree with King Zultan and crystalizedmire.  Magma does seem to be the best answer in this case.

Magma attacks the Infecting Gestalt!

Or it tries to.

A long harpoon made of half-molten rock penetrates the gestalts core. The core suddenly inflates and then explodes into a puff of stray magic, which then dissipates tp the background. The biological horror slushie also sublimates without a core. Magma wins.

Then Tric attacks from behind. He grabs Magma with his mouth and shakes him around. Magma slips away since you can't bite liquids, and is met with simple choice.

Magma wastes no time, and starts fleeing as soon as he forms. He sees a glimpse of Knightwing turning a corner and entering the chasm before he dissappears into the floor above.

He finds himself in DF General Discussions. Which is a relatively populated board. If he runs into someone here-

Huh. No one except a random incorporeal. Magma looks at the incorporeal forumite, and the incorporeal forumite looks back with a blank emotion. He seems unaware of what has been happening and unknowing of exactly who is infront of him. Good, he won't pursue.

Magma finds a way and goes up once more. He is in DF Modding. He sees two more incorporeals, joostheger and aradar. They too simply ignore. What's with incorporrals and the Upper Boards? Magma has no time to think.

Magma spots a humanoid figure in green clothing while he jets up through the DF Community Games And Stories. The figure is starled from the sound of a meter cube of lava flying by, but never manages to get what the source of it was.

He passes through DF Adventure Mode Discussions with no one there. But as he passe through the DF Dwarf Mode Discussions, he hits an invisible wall of gelatin. His body feels dizzy and his flight is disabled for a short time.

Magma immediately understand that an aggressive incorporeal forumite was blocking his path and attempted to subsume him. He regains his control just as he violently falls back to the board, hitting a monolith and then crushing a bunch of pin boards into woodchips.

Magma tastes soda, and is reminded to forget the letter "n".

sodafoutain attacks.

An Incorporeal forumite, unlike ones with bodies, are deathless in a very literal sense. A corporeal forumite can be killed but will reform shortly after. An incorporeal forumite has no body to destroy, and cannot be killed.

The disadvantage of having no body means a mind without binds and focus. An incorporeal forumite is a numb, wavering aura of thoughts and emotions.

Magma has two options. He can either try phasing through the attack with a burst of metaphysical [VOLCANOES], or he can stand his ground and invoke [CHAOS].

B: [CHAOS]-Make yourself unpalatable.

Magma decides. His body warps out of comprehension and his surrounding area swirls in [CHAOS].

sodafoutain's absorbtion wave is met with a creature with extremely high amounts of [CHAOS]. Magma pushes the  magic upwards in the last second. It flows directly into the absorbtion wave. The wave is completely engulfed in an instant, and loses any and all coherence on contact. So does sodafoutain's entire being. As the incorporeal mind tries to expel the extreme amounts on [CHAOS], Magma makes his exit.

Magma passes through the rest of the forum with ease, only encountering another oblivious incorporeal at DF Gameplay Questions. He doesn't knows if he manage to lose the others that were chasing him.

Magma has ended up where he started. The barren rock surface, and the iridescent shine of the central web is above.

Magma could go up. Or he could stand his ground.
