Okay, let's get this over with. Best case scenario I will have a nervous breakdown but won't have to use chips. I'm almost certain I won't get through this without cheating.
It's my first time meeting Zero when he's alone in his head, but something seems... off about him.
He'l lost it. He never had it, but he's lost it. It definitely only Zero speaking, because the Z is capital in all parts of his monologue.
I don't need Espeon and Glaceon. I already bred myself some Eevees to register all Eevee evolutions in the pokedex. Besides, these probably belong to Eve and Lumi.
Benny, I don't need commendations. I just want to be sure you haven't done anything inaproppriate to Laura. I wouldn't worry that much if I was talking to any other Team Meteor member, but creepy bastards need to be dealt accordingly.
You don't get anywhere by constantly losing, my boy. Can't move upwards without winning, and apparently getting into the Elite Four isn't actually moving up. Being a champion, however...
I've been broken before, but not through battles. Benny's trials can't be worse than what Cain got me through, right?
Speaking of Cain. Since the Mark of Cain makes him invincible, Bennett had to use mind control to contain him. Speaking of containing:
Victoria -1
Heather - 3
Noel - 3
Anna - 2
Charlotte - 2
Cain - 2
Saphira - 1
Gardevoir - 1Luna -1
Aya - 1
Amaria - 1
Eustace - 1Laura - 1
Shelly - 2
Total - 21
I forgot to count Shelly where all the kids got kidnapped.
Ready for an unfair 6 vs. 12 battle against old friends? I'm confident that I can win this one because it's these two.
Ribombee set up Sticky Web so every one of my pokemon will be slowed down when sent out. This might get annoying. In fact, I know this will be annoying.
Marowak just had to survive AND crit with Shadow Bone. Wouldn't be fair if Murasama survived.
Would you look at that, a twofer! Why do I have to be a Leavanny? I deserve at least a Buzzwole.
Hurricane took down Scolipede before it could act, and a quick switch saved Forb from Muk's Gunk Shot. So glad Yoko is resistant to poison of all kinds thanks to her steel claws. Pokemon logic.
Alolan Muk has the Power of Alchemy ability that copies the ability of an ally that fainted. Cain's Muk copied Scolipede's Speed Boost, but even when sped up it couldn't outspeed Yoko who was slowed down. Excadrill isn't even that fast, but...
Wait, Yoko isn't even EV trained! That was a blunder from me. She seems to be doing okay for now, so let's not worry about it too much. She has great IVs and nature; she'll be fine.
Shelly is officially out, and so is Lombardi. The bird did her job dealing with Shelly's bugs; she deserves a rest.
Ingrid took down Mimikyu's disguise, while Forb annihilated it with Hydro Vortex.
And it's over. I expected more resistance. Not much more, mind you, but this was too easy.
Hypno can control only two people at a time? It was supposed to be so powerful, but in reality it's pretty lame. Never mind that it put the entire Agate City to sleep. Well, good night then.
It's rude to wake up a napping person, don't you think, floating question mark?
Weavile is HOW FAST? I'm extremely worried now.
Weavile must have had a focus sash because it survived and switched to Gothitelle. Yoko had to finish the job because there's no way Murasama could do this.
Electricity is always a good way to deal with birds. Once I had a problems with pigeons taking dumps on my balcony, so I electrified the railing to counter this. Fried pigeon isn't as good as fried chicken, I'll tell you that much.
I never actually did this.I felt extatic when I saw this thing's HP go to 0.
The fact that Murasama even survived this encounter is a testament to his defensive prowess. Beating a Mega Absol in one hit doesn't matter that much because Absols are squishy regardless of their form.
No, I was so close! At least now I know what to do. First thing first, Yoko needs proper training. And it turns out Murasama also wasn't trained. What was I doing the whole time?
Yoko got the standard attack/speed training, but instead of simply making her adamant, I turned her Jolly to make her the fastest Excadrill ever. It's not like she lacks attack as is. I taught her Iron Head for steel type STAB. Now she's like my Excadrill in Pokemon Go.
Murasama doesn't need speed, or rather the training wouldn't help him much, so I focused on attack and defense for his training. Made him adamant so he can hit harder. Also taught him Shadow Sneak, which is a priority move. This should help with Weavile.
Second attempt! The unknown entity switched just in time to avoid Murasama's Shadow Sneak, but Gothitelle happens to be weak against ghost moves. It died before it could do any damage.
Pimpkrow got deleted out of existence. Thge field works to my favor when Gatorade is out.
Weavile's return wasn't as glorious as my enemy expected. This is exactly why I gavew Murasama a priority move despite it being weaker than Shadow Claw.
King's Shield weakened Mega Absol, and then Sacred Sword destroyed it. Knock Off might have removed Murasama's leftovers, but will that really make a difference at this point?
Just in case I had Ingrid buff herself with Calm Mind. Some extra power is always welcome.
Mismagius was also a bitch before because all of its attack get a boost from the field. Mega Pidgeot can outspeed it, but not kill in one hit. Fortunately Murasama was still up and ready to rumble.
Not one but two more entities?
Frustrating, but I couldn't do anything - Ninetales defended the enemy team with Aurora Veil, so beyond changing the field, I couldn't do much. Granted, Murasama only defended himself from... nothing, actually.
The situation is really shitty. Can I turn it around?
Mayhaps. The dream team is on the field, and no psychic or ice pokemon can stop them! I just need to keep Murasama alive. And as soon as I said it, Murasama died to Sandslash's Knock Off.
Time to cause some natural disasters!
Time to succumb to unnatural disasters!
Forgive me father for I have cheated. "Cheated" isn't the best of words, is it? I think it should be "chote" instead. Hmm, maybe it sounds a bit too much like "chode"...
Let's start from the third battle. Preventing setting up Aurora Veil is easier when you can take down Ninetales before it can do anything. Perhaps 80% was a bit excessive? With how well it went the last time, 90 might have been enough.
With Grassy Terrain it's even better. Forb is still getting beat up a bit, but she's barely below half, and the enemies are four out of twelve down.
Yeah, the 80% was excessive. Burning field was transformed into psychic terrain by Alakazam, which only caused it to waste its turn. Forb ended Alakazam's life with Rock Climb after that.
Is it getting hot or what? The raging heat wasn't a factor in Forb's decline, interestingly. You'd think it would hit allies just like Surf does.
There's a significant overlap between the weaknesses of the pokemon belonging to these two entities. I guess they wouldn't want it too hard after two already annoying battles.
Mega Gardevoir is something I'd love to have one day. I wouln't have to deal with cheaters like me, so Mega Ingrid would wreck stuff..
There was some garbled shouting, a Hypno's cry, and now I'm in space. I hate when that happens.
No way I'm making the same mistake again! I'm staying in space when there's no double battle gauntlets, no glass sliding puzzles, no Cain, and no Titania's Aegislash.
These people were with me and Ame on the train, and they all fucking died. Isn't it nice to reminisce about better times?
Lyn, this is not happening. I've already been through this, and there's a bunch of things I NEVER want to repeat, especially the Turtwig sliding puzzle. Unlike the Titania battle, that puzzle cannot be made easier with cheats.
I was bored waiting for Ame to have the train station up and running. Then they pulled me into some stupid conspiracy that I'll have to keep fighting against if I get back to Reborn from space.
No, you're Victoria. And if you really are Kiki in Victoria's body, tell Ame that I won't be joining you in heaven because I'm evil.
Come on, Bulbasaur, don't make me pick Chikorita again! Unfortunately Bulbasaur doesn't want to come with me, and when I tried to pick up String Bean's space cousin, everything disappeared.
I'm okay with mysterious apparitions repeating what I've already heard, but the last lucid person I wanted to spend eternity in the afterlife with is you.
This is something I've already noticed about Lyn. She lives in the past, clinging to her high school years despite nearing 30. She still wants to believe she represents the school she graduated from almost a decade ago. Florina tightened her ties with the school and is teaching a new generation of trainers; Titania and Amaria became some of the most powerful trainers in Reborn and may have chance to become members of the Elite Four in the near future. Lyn? She's a glorified greeter.
Fern is the way he is because he's a loser, apparently. That doesn't excuse his behavior. Besides, Cal has the same thing going already. Fern gets no pity from me.
At this point we've all figured out that Florina wanted to get into Amaria's pants back in school. What happens now that Amaria is free again? Probably nothing, because she's not the same person anymore. Neither of them is. I have to admit that Titania didn't do anything wrong though. Even if Amaria liked Florina back, Florina wouldn't have been able to bear being in relationship with someone like that. She's far weaker than Titania.
There was someone... falling. I'm at the point after the second badge, so that someone must have been Corey in the House. I said all I had to say about him - his hopeless situation could have been avoided by not buying the Ruby Ring. He caused suffering to his daughter by hiding the truth from her, pretending he cared about her safety, when it was actually the ring she took.
That's Shelly and Cal! Cal used to have frosted tips back then... What happened then was all Cain's fault. Sure, Cal worked for Team Meteor back then, but he actually had no bad intentions, with his mind focused on one-upping his brother. Too bad it was all for nothing.
A whole army of Blakes. Yeah, there's no way Cal gets through that.
I'm just walking here, jeez! Did I make that joke when that first time that happened?
If there were two guys on the moon and one killed the other with a rock, would that be fucked up or what? Of course neither of the wishes would win, because it's not a competition.
I couldn't be a creature of the night if I couldn't see anything, could I? Of course I glow in the dark, otherwise how would I move around without walking into stuff?
That's Luna, isn't it? She looks a lot like me, but her bangs are somewhat different, so that can't be me. There's the Good Doctor and some people I can't recognize. What's the significance here?
Wait, I was at the point where Heather was taken to the orphanage; why is Luna appearing right now? Could she have some ties to the orphanage or the doctor? Even the wiki doesn't say anything about her ever being there, and her father is known.
Well, if he wants to stay together, how about he doesn't walk out into the void without me? Good riddance though, because I really don't want him following me.
I've fought a Misdreavus that claimed to be your soul, Kiki, just letting you know.
Yeah, you can't beat terminal 7 brain cancer with tai chi and positive attitude. While I disagree with most of Kiki's teaching, her conflating of the mind and body is the worst offense. In the end she believed herself a phony because she couldn't help herself, couldn't prevent her sickness from killing her from within (though she kinda did in the end). She assumed people would call her out for it, even though the only person who knew still pretty much worshipped her. In a way, her downfall was believing that everyone thinks the same way she did.
Would it be fair if someone else got terminal 7? Everyone has the same chances in this reverse lottery, some people lose, most win.
First of all the "defeating inner chaos" meme is harmful, makes you supress what you really are.
No swearing in my FUCKING pokemon game! Also, no calling me out like this! I am whiny and self-absorbed, but I'm not a child! But yeah, my mane needs to look on point.
I've never met a person who wouldn't know they would die one day.
Now that I think about it, Aya's father wasn't home when I flooded the house with random pokemon. Maybe he just went to buy some milk. Hopefuly he didn't go to "buy milk" instead.
All things consider, that family is not the most dysfunctional of them all. Not a single member had joined a terrorist organization, nobody murdered anyone, and nobody wants to murder anyone. I mean, Cain killed Abel, but that was a long time ago.
After Cain ran away to be severely gay, Aya got the worst of her parent's ire. They have a lot of built up frustration from living in the wasteland, having strangers come to their house to challenge their daughter, and Cain being a scene kid. Somehow I can't blame them for being the way they are.
Aya may be a bit cold, but I don't think she's such a toxic person. Unless you count the thin layer of Toxapex slime she's constantly coated in.
Lizzy? Have I ever heard this name? Is it this girl who I thought was Luna? I seem to have plenty of lookalikes in Reborn.
Corey in the House and his wife must have caused a lot of grief to Sirius, but only because they were retaliating. No wonder Team Meteor was so eager to get rid of Corey in the House for a small-ish thing that Lin wouldn't have got as much as a slap on the wrist.
I literally couldn't beat the mysterious entities because I was outnumbered.
I think the Hat Man just adopted Luna while an army of Els watched with disdain. There I thought there was only one of that guy.
That Ralts... I think I know who that is. I wonder what she's up to these days...
Wait, since Radomus is Gardevoir's trainer, and that person seems to be wearing a Team Meteor uniform, does that mean...? I don't believe he's a bad guy, so maybe he escaped that life.
He really is a man of many hats. I think he would enjoy TF2.
That's a strange gathering of people. Serra once said that she had some ties to Gardevoir, and she was briefly Luna's adoptive mother. There is a connection between some of these characters. What are Anna and Noel doing there though? And who is this white-haired character?
That's Luna and Scar, and their fathers. Scar said that he and Luna grew up together, so that's nothing new.
My real allies? Adrienn, Victoria, Hardy, Aya, Charlotte... Cain is trying, but he sucks at it.
Shit, Hypno should be lv 100, but I chote and had no chance to disable the cheat. It sucks that I won't experience this battle the way I should.
Look at how Hypno changed from a recolor to a custom sprite.
This can be annoying, and it will be if I don't switch Murasama out. Hypno has No Gurad, meaning its Hypnosis will always hit, and it's faster than any Aegislash can hope to be.
Lombardi managed to confuse Hypno with her Hurricane, and weaken it significantly despite Hypno's massive special defense. Unfortunately she succumbed to Dark Pulse boosted by the starlight arena. Yoko ended the battle quickly. Now Hypno is dead, and Team Meteor is missing another PULSE. They are quickly running out of superweapons to use against Team Good Guys.
This looks like a person ripped in half. This hair colors... It's Serra! The mirror theme she's got going would check out. Her entire personality is loss and regret, and also being bad at pokemon battles. She really is broken as a person.
This white-haired person again, this time confronting Bennett. I'm pretty sure I know who that is. He was connected to Luna, and also had something to do with Bennett...
That's Evil Bennett with Serra, Luna, and Laura on the floor. Bennett ran from home to become a terrorist, kidnapped Luna, and got Laura kicked out of the Elite Four. To think he could hurt so many people in such short time. Sure, he was being manipulated, but nobody joins a cult without some manipulation being involved.
Seems like Gardevoir fell for her master. I assume "her" refers to the Hat Man's late wife. Gardevoir is a natural empath, she could tell exactly what he was feeling the whole time. It must have been hard knowing that Radomus will never love her like he loved his wife. But... what was that about dying?
A chubby, green-haired girl just turned into Terra, and sprinkled corruptions on the screen. So that's what she was like before she became a clown.
On the contrary! I could have fought Scar in the sewers, which would put me on the Zekrom route where ideals triumph over truth. You'd remain at Amaria's side, but neither of you would be truly happy anyway.
Making decisions like that after your own death is just silly. Should have joined Team Good Guys when we were recruiting instead of trying to hide in the desert.
Blake just pushed Cal off the path right into outer space. Eventually Cal stopped thinking.
There's dead people here. I rushed and couldn't see who it was.
I seem to have impaled this knight with Murasama. I know this person was Scar, but since none of this is real, I could have this pleasure without being blamed for his death. Although, I know he wouldn't have died if I chose to follow Zekrom route. In the end I am responsible for his death.
Luna has made a shortcut for me! Finally I can leave this place and not look at flashbacks and exposition anymore.
It was a refreshing nap. I know some people have trouble believing that I can fall asleep wherever and whenever, but I don't think it's THAT weird. It's not like it doesn't have any drawbacks either, but... El, if you challenge me now, I'll win and push you into this mysterious hole in the ground. I chote after all.
That's better. Explains why one of the entities I fought had a full team of psychic pokemon including a Gardevoir. Wait, why isn't she here?
I assume they are not talking about the building, though I would be worried about its structural integrity.
Okay, first aid I can agree to, but I won't let that man do anything more complicated to Shelly. Not unless he finds an actual doctor disguise.
Who could they be talking about? Luna and Gardevoir? Most likely, because Radomus didn't have anyone else.
Radomus: Regrettably, I am something of a veteran when it comes to losing "hers".SQ: Were't you supposed to take care of Shelly?Radomus: One would say it is better to focus on those who we have left. For instance, saving that girl was rather heroic of you. This pity doesn't suit your triumph.SQ: Does nobody care that she's bleeding out on the floor.Serra: Triumph? I couldn't save any of them! What's broken cannot be fixed. What's gone won't come back.Radomus: And yet SQ is here. Maybe there's a chance for the others.I'm surprised she has... had friends. she was a little out there, but I guess this isn't a problem for a cute girl like her. Maybe it was Bennett who called her somehow? He probably wanted to mind-control her for his sick desires. I fought her when I was being mind-controlled, so fortunately she never fell under his control.
If anyone asks, I protested coming through there, but when Hardy jumped in I knew I followed to rescue him. And I didn't climb; I jumped.
Sometimes a family is actually two families sharing an adopted daughter, with her father and mother being strangers.
This is probably the most awkward moment in Serra's life, and she was the one raising Bennett who is nothing but embarrassment. Luna wanted to have both parents, but these two have nothing in common. Also notice how she chose two rich people to be her parents.
Yeah, it was definitely her. I'm not sure how she knew that something was going down in here. Psychic powers only extend so far, right? At least now Serra can talk some sense into her loser son or die trying.
Typical TF2 player.
Ah, that explains a lot. Spooky Ghost likes to appear in the most convenient situations. Like that time he cleaned up so Cal wouldn't have to scrape Corey in the House off the pavement.
At least they didn't trip over Hardy's lifeless body.
Why was I even holding on to both of these? Titania should have kept one. The more spread out the keys, the harder for the bad guys to collect them all.
Yeah, he went from Dr. Stone to Yu-Gi-Oh. It's still not good, mind you, but it's a step in a good direction.
You're fifteen, Bennett! And you're a huge loser!
I'm not sure about that. Some hats are better at attracting medics than the other. A Ghostly Gibus actually deters medics, signalizing you're broke or too cheap to buy better hats.
I'm actually curious about the previous ones.
Serra: That's irrelevant to the story! Why even tell her details like this?Radomus: I am trying to be as accurate as possible. Perhaps this information will become relevant at some point?Serra: I seriously doubt that.Better than a Vaporeon, I guess. She has the correct number of legs, can talk, and is intelligent. She passes the Harness Test, unlike Ingrid who's also a Gardevoir, but can't talk. I still wouldn't, just so we're clear.
He realized it, but he's still a disgusting creep. He doesn't deserve to have his apologies accepted.
Bennett, Zero is controlling the PULSE that's controlling me; why do you think it's the right moment to berate him? He's already unstable after being ripped away from Eve and Lumi; don't push him even further! And he just keeps going about how he would be nothing without being fused with the girls, and how he is still nothing, with no goals or ambitions other than regaining power that he lacked when he was just one of three personalities.
She seems angry. It's this sort of anger that pushes people (and pokemon) to take desperate steps. When the pokemon in this situation is a Gardevoir, it usually ends badly. Very badly.
So the PULSE I've destroyed in space was not the actual PULSE? It was destroyed by Gardevoir's black hole, so maybe I was fighting its dying consciousness? Or something like that, because it was not meant to have a consciousness of its own. Who else was killed? Me, Luna, and hopefuly Cain? I can see Laura on the floor over there, and the bad guys are okay. Fine, Bennett is okay; Zero is still asking Eve what to do as if she was still in his head.
She made herself a martyr to make Bennett realize his mistakes? I'd rather have a strong ally than lose a weak enemy. Not that Luna was exceptionally strong, but I can sweep the floor with Bennett using only Microcline.
They were using each other, yet Bennett is still working for the bad guys. El's influence on Bennett is still strong, while the big man can forget the kid even exists. Even if they were using each other, one of them definitely had more power than the other.
I hope he flees to some shitty region where I'm never gonna go. But then again, I came here out of my own free will, and there's few shittier places then this was back then.
And like this the Sapphire Bracelets returned to Belrose family, and also to Team Good Guys. Wait, who has the Emerald Brooch? I think El took it after all when he kidnapped Luna; that should have been obvious. Wouldn't it be better if it got lost in the black hole along with Luna? Nobody would be able to open the inner sanctum.
Laura is too kind for her own good. She's willing to catch Zero so he doesn't snitch on Bennett even despite what he's just done.
And here I come into play, fished from beyond of the event horizon by Spooky Ghost who was not affected by the gravity well. Now that I think of it, the only real people in the void were Cain and Luna, which means Cain is also dead for good. The Hypno was also there, so I made it die for the second time. Poggers.
She probably won't, no matter how many miracles happened so far.
I sure am glad the kids slept through the whole thing and weren't anywhere near here.
Again with the mirror thing, this time in the context of Anna's aura vision.
Why? Even if it was some sort of sleep transfer, why not allow Hypno to sleep? Would that increase its power or something? Or maybe it would stop the hypnosis so nobody would have to die, and Luna would not fulfill her destiny? Fallout 3 moment?
Everybody knew, especially me, having been through this in my past life. Anna and Noel are the Hat Man's kids that he disposed of when they were babbys.
How convenient that Nostra could explain everything to Anna so there's no misunderstanding.
Jesus Christ, I'm glad they weren't raised by their parents! Painter is such a bad name that I'd rather be named Pizza Chef than that. Maybe I'll name my firstborn child Pizza Chef.
No, Anna, they aren't. That goes to you too, Amethyst.
I seriously wish they would leave it for a better occasion. I need to save right now, because I'm tired of this.
So, Radomus was told that the keys were too dangerous to be held by Team Meteor, so he casually stole them. He had them made into jewellery to disguise them. The jeweller broke one of the keys, but managed to keep them functional. In thanks, the jeweler got one of these. Then Radomus sold the rest to strong trainers.
The Sapphire Bracelets were sold to Caroline and Monty Belrose, the parents of Charlotte, Laura and Saphira. They chose the bracelets because sapphire-Saphira. As good a reason as any.
Corey in the House picked the Ruby Ring for his engagement. Didn't end well for him.
The last key went to Hat Man's own wife. That would be the Amethyst Pendant that ended up with Anna. That means that the first one was the Emerald Brooch that somehow ended up in Luna's hands. Who the jeweler was is still a mystery.
And what was the reason Radomus sold the keys instead of giving them away? He wanted to buy a castle, or rather his wife wanted to. To fund this folly, he also stole a large sum from Team Meteor, which is based.
Then Radomus' wife disappeared. It was about the same time Team Meteor found out he was the one who stole from them. He had to hide his kids and pretend they had nothing to do with him. If only Corey in the House had this chance.
Guys, I think Shelly is dead.
Anna gets superpowers and magical artifacts, Noel gets autism. It does sound a bit unfair if you think about it, but Radomus probably had no idea that Anna would be able to see aura and talk to dolls. Could anyone call the ambulance for Shelly?
Lumi and Eve are alive!
For us? You two destroyed the entire city! Killed hundreds if not thousands! And don't tell me Zero had anything to do with that; he couldn't do shit to you because you were him. Lumi's life, or rather her body's life, was at stake, so maybe I can forgive a little bit. But what about Lumi's sickness though? Will she be okay?
I'll catch you a new one, Lumi, don't wory.
Lumi and Eve hid in the vents to release their pokemon, Espeon and Glaceon, so I could reach this place, while the kids took their place in the stasis pods. Then the two girls tried to turn off the power, but there were emergency measures at work, so they couldn't disable the PULSE.
Now that Shelly got up delirious from blood loss, we can drag Hardy out of here and get out of here. Radomus will adopt Lumi and Eve because they have nowhere to go.
