Finally, after months of stagnation, Underneath version 0.5.7 is released.
Remember to clear your saves before playing.
• Global Map rework - the map is now proper 3D with lighting and stuff, reworked completely how the map is generated, added biomes, each location has its own name, reworked way depth (location difficulty) is being set
• There are now multiple exits from Ahrnsbrak Fortress, the fortress is open but still kinda blockout
• NPCs now can have Patrol states
• Ability to recruit a mercenary added. It's a goblin for the moment, but when we make proper dwarf model (finally), it will be changed
• Bed added to fortress, you can rest to regenerate health if you're well fed
You can also sleep in straw beds in dungeons
Later it will utilize check of nearby fires, resting without a campfire will give a chance of being ambushed during sleeping
• Gathering spots now save and load properly
Except those on walls, they seem to spawn brown mushrooms, will fix in next version
• Food prices are now way higher
• Added item quality (currently used only in cooking)
