Come on, that doesn't mean anything. This creature would love anyone, from saint to war criminal to landlord. Shouldn't you be focused on taking care of yourself? They're not your responsibility. At most just open the door and run away.

-1. They do look like our responsibility now. I mean, how much older are we? Haven't we been sitting in a cell, powerless and afraid, hugging ourselves and definitely not holding back tears just a few minutes ago?

We are adult (if barely so). They are not. We must take care of them.

(And the little critter looks wiser than us. Maybe we should give it a little credit, if we are using it as a detection device.)

And let's not forget, they are our daughter now. What mother would leave their daughter in a place like this?

Even if not blood, a potential companion beyond little fuzz butt, might be a positive.  We can always take off and flee if the two headed girl turns out to be a bad situation.  Sometimes ya just gotta play the odds and hope for the best.  [ like they say when running from bears.  You don't have to be faster then the bear.  Just faster then other person also running from the bear.]  8)  Just kidding little two headed girl.  Be an awesome team mate please?!?

That's... a really good point.  You can empathize with this girl's position a lot, only, she can't break herself out.  If she can't rely on you, she can't rely on anyone here.  You... don't really trust that you're able to take care of her, but at least you're better than nobody.  You reluctantly start picking the lock.

You're still not really sure how this works.  You did it before, but... really, it felt like luck that time.  You just wiggled the pick around until it worked.  It doesn't seem to be any more natural or easy this time, and you start to worry it'll take even longer than it did before.  And unlike last time, you might be on a time limit; if that quiet monster comes back, you can't just stop and hide in your cell, with the bars protecting you.  You're out in the open with it.

Your worry builds as you continue to try.  Maybe last time was just a fluke?  You keep fiddling with the lockpick, trying to think of what you did before, but as far as you recall you just randomly stuck the lockpick in and out.  Your ears stay alert as you pick, listening carefully for the monster's near-silent footsteps, but the only thing they pick up is the two-headed girl's nervous shuffling.  She's waiting on you.  Urgh... you really have to hurry up and do this as soon as you can...

There's a clear, sharp click, and the lock comes undone.  Immediately, you breath out a long sigh of relief, relaxing.  You give the door a gentle shove, and step back to let the girl out.

Come on, that doesn't mean anything. This creature would love anyone, from saint to war criminal to landlord. Shouldn't you be focused on taking care of yourself? They're not your responsibility. At most just open the door and run away.

The girl steps out of the cell, slowly, without saying anything.  You immediately go back to worrying about what you're doing.  It's too late now, but... maybe you shouldn't have trusted her.  Maybe you were the exception for this prison, and she actually deserves to be here.  Maybe she's a witch who only disguised herself as a child, and she's going to zap you with a spell or something, or maybe worse.  You kinda want to run, but... she still might be a child, and she might need you.

You pluck the little creature off of your shoulder, hugging it to your chest, as the girl stands in front of you.

The girl's right head looks away, unable to meet your gaze.  She seems to shiver a little, her right hand shivering as well.  The girl's left side, including her head, seems to be braver, and speaks up.

"Uhm, hi, miss?  We don't know why we're here, we--we just woke up here.  Are we still in England?  We want to go home, can you take us there?  Oh, uhm, our name is Allison.  Who are you?  Sorry.  We're not used to meeting people."

You have no idea what England is.  Or where you are in relation to your own home, even.

Say something reassuring then look in their cell, maybe they had something useful in there and they didn't notice it.

+1. And check the pot!

And ask the girl if she found anything in the cell. Did she find the bear in this place? If so, politely ask to check it for pockets or unusual items.

If she did, and if the teddy bear was hiding in her pot, then maybe there is a pattern here. A comfort animal for every prisoner, tailored to their culture and psychological needs...

She told us her name, we should introduce ourselves as well... start with that.

Say something reassuring

We don't know any more than these two do, but at least now we can figure it out together?

((You may want to suggest to Ichigo what is "reassuring" in this situation.  The most reassuring would probably be promising her things... but Ichigo won't go making promises without direct suggestions to do so.))

Yeah, to be clear, I'm suggesting we be entirely honest here: we don't know what's going on either, but we're willing to be an ally. It's not the most reassuring thing, but it's the best we can offer for now.
